Quick Take: Really great shop on all regards. The food and drinks were great, the vibe even greater, but the service was the greatest. Shout out to Christine! Vibe: Summerfield is a staple in Garden Grove for friends to chat at or students to do some homework in.The place is very clean and has its really nice charm to it. There's plenty of natural lighting, despite being somewhat tucked away at the ground floor of a complex with other businesses in the same complex. The interior space and the two outdoor patios are really nice and roomy. Food & Drinks: I got a MIso Crunch Platter for ~$15, and the value for this was really great. The salad was very filling especially because it came with a lot of popcorn chicken, almonds, fried crisps, salad green mix, and a mildly spicy dressing. The combo also comes with a milk two of your choice (which I believe there were only two options, if I'm not mistaken). The Wintermelon Milk Tea at regular sweetness is really sweet in my opinion, so for folks that like their drinks to taste more of a beverage instead of a dessert I'd recommend starting at at 50% sweetness. I'd recommend bringing your own water since the store policy bars staff members from refilling customer-brought water containers (e.g., Hydroflasks and Owalas), and their water cup is really tiny and almost only the size of a standard shotglass. Work-Friendliness: Lots of outlets and very stable wi-fi! There's also tons of seating, both indoor and outdoor. The shop has music they play, but it's not too loud to the point that you can't focus, or put headphones on to listen to your own music. There's a lot of seating options for you to choose from. Getting There: The parking lot immediately next to it doesn't quite get busy, so driving there is an option. If it does get filled up, however, street parking is pretty easy since the shop is at a complex immediately neighboring suburbs. Public transit doesn't seem like it would be ideal. Service: Really kind staff and very patient. Going back to their water refill policy: Christine kept helping me out very patiently with water refills even though I kept coming back for what felt like the 50th time. The highlights: they have a self ordering system which is my favorite, some drinks had free oat milk substitution which was really nice, and a lot of drinks had two toppings included for under $7 which was great! I ordered the earl Grey boba milk tea with mochi and really loved it! Located off S. Euclid St in Garden Grove it's shared with another business the parking is small and especially at the night time weekends it fills up so your other option is to find street parking in the residential area off Lampson. It was crowded when I got there on a Fri night a little after 10pm they open till 1am the have food and drinks so I guess why this is a popular spot for lots of people especially the young ones. They have a few tables and one long table inside and some seating outside in the patio areas. I got the strawberry matcha drink. I may try the popcorn chicken next time but hopefully I can find parking cause tonight I had to park about one and half blocks down Lampson. One of the besttttt popcorn chicken options in the area! So juicy and the batter is always crispy. You really can't go wrong. The perfect mid-day snack! Milk Tea is standard and does the job. The grass jelly was surprisingly really good though. I'd recommend the Lunaria Milk Tea! I like the setup with separation with clear dividers at the booths and at the long table. You can easily order on your own at the kiosk by the door or via app. If you order in person, sometimes it can take some time before someone comes out or notices since they are busy inside and can't see the line. There's no bell to call for service. If you order on the app, your food comes in a nice paper bag. Drinks are solid and I like the many food options here. If you download the app, you get a free order of fries with your order and it's a good sized portion of fries which can be shared with a friend. The fries are also nicely seasoned.
