I still came after my initial review and all my drinks onwards have been consistent! The service is still good with very friendly staff and would definitely recommend others to try their drinks especially tropical beach :)

A few days ago I had an intense gym session and remembered I had free will and decided to get boba after! I thought why not get summerfield? I used to study here for years in high school and had tried almost everything on the menu. I decided to get a Thai tea as it was just that type of day. Unfortunately when I tried it, it had a bitter and slightly fermented taste. I then had my mom try it and she told me it tasted rotten! I then searched up what rotten condensed milk tasted like and everything google said I was tasting. I believe the drink I was given had rotten condensed milk!! I will most likely be back though since the fries and popcorn chicken is so good lol but to anyone who may see this please check the state of the condensed milk!!!

Decent boba place! We tried a variety of drinks like the uji matcha latte, aloha, original milk tea with popping barley, passion fruit tea, and the coconut pistachio. They were all good, just nothing super special! The spot itself is really busy, kinda loud, mostly filled with people studying and a bunch of orders, so it can feel a bit crowded. Alright place if you're in the area, but not necessarily somewhere I'd drive out for.

I love the cozy vibe and great drinks at this spot. I had: 1. Sesame miso crunch salad w popcorn chicken 2. Sesame miso crunch salad w crispy tofu 3. Uji matcha latte 4. Aloha tea w basil seeds 5. Remember me w grass jelly

One of the besttttt popcorn chicken options in the area! So juicy and the batter is always crispy. You really can't go wrong. The perfect mid-day snack! Milk Tea is standard and does the job. The grass jelly was surprisingly really good though. I'd recommend the Lunaria Milk Tea! (boba was hard though... so maybe pass on that) The outdoor area is ideal to hangout and parking is sufficient. Many people study inside with plentiful tables and booths. However, it seemed really warm inside. I'd prefer the outdoor area!

The drinks itself were decent but not spectacular. Self order kiosk but drinks were made pretty fast. There is a decent amount of seating and outdoors as well.

This is a nice place for studying/working with plenty of outlets along the wall or under the long table in the middle. I like the setup with separation with clear dividers at the booths and at the long table. You can easily order on your own at the kiosk by the door or via app. If you order in person, sometimes it can take some time before someone comes out or notices since they are busy inside and can't see the line. There's no bell to call for service. If you order on the app, your food comes in a nice paper bag. Drinks are solid and I like the many food options here. If you download the app, you get a free order of fries with your order and it's a good sized portion of fries which can be shared with a friend. The fries are also nicely seasoned. There are different deals on the app to check out.

Super crowded it'll be hard to find seats or tables Parking lot tiny Boba milk tea solid - no option to get rid of the grass jelly though Popcorn chicken huge and hot Price decent - its just way too crowded for my taste and dealing w the parking is not my vibe

Inconsistent. The workers were not welcoming nor kind at all. We were ready to order and standing at the register, but the workers didn't say a word to greet us. We didn't want to seem pushy or demanding so we waited for them to start off with something like, "How can I take your order" or "I can take your order whenever you're ready", but they didn't. Both sides were just standing there waiting for the other person to say something first before my sister finally made the first move *_* They were a lot more generous with the toppings the last time I came. Considering they charge $1 ($1.06 with tax), it's not worth it since other places charge less and give you way more boba. We won't be be returning anytime soon.

Uji Matcha Freeze and Popcorn Chicken
    Jessica T.

Food: popcorn chicken 3/5 very misleading with the bag they put in. The cup is not filled for $8. Chicken seasoning is mediocre. Uji matcha freeze 2/5 matcha is not strong. Custard is also not as good compared to other places. Not worth $8 Overpriced for what you're getting. Not sure what the hype is. Maybe it's because they open late til 1AM? Ambiance: nice place to study, or hang out. Lots of seats and tables. They have outlets under tables.

    Brunch combo With sunset tea

We've been regular customers here for the past 2 months and usually spend around $16-20 each visit while studying here. The food, drinks, and overall vibes are good, but this experience felt unnecessary. Today, my sister briefly stopped by to drop off drinks for us since shes from san gabriel i dont see her often. I also scootered here to save gas and didn't bring my car. We had already purchased food and 1 drink here and a big platter and still had our receipt, but an employee came up to us twice about having "outside drinks" without first asking if we were paying customers. We understood the policy, but it felt inconvenient considering we were already supporting the business and had proof of purchase. I also noticed the employee approaching other customers who appeared to already have drinks purchased from the store, which made the situation feel awkward and inconsistent.

And we had order 2 more plus more munchies

I have been coming to this location for as long as I can remember, especially because the hours are very convenient for college students. The drinks, food, and staff have always been great, which is why I have continued returning over the years. However, over the past month, my friends and I have had several unpleasant experiences involving the manager. Unfortunately, her behavior has come across as rude and passive-aggressive, and the way she communicates with customers has been very concerning. On one occasion, after purchasing five drinks and four food items, we decided to bring out a small bag of chips. We were told in a very aggressive manner that outside food was not allowed and that our only option was "to eat it in the parking lot." This interaction felt unnecessary and unsettling, especially considering we are regular customers who consistently support the business. A small bag of chips did not seem like something that warranted such an intense response. We have also witnessed similar interactions with other customers who may not have been aware of this policy. Rather than being informed respectfully, they were spoken to in a harsh manner and told that if they wanted to eat their food, they should do so in their car. I fully understand and respect that businesses have policies and rules in place, but there is also a way to communicate them professionally and respectfully.

Whilst I was there they were having a promo buy one get one on their harumi matcha latte. I indulged, purchasing a strawberry and mango under the offer. The matcha is slightly bitter and slightly sweet. The cream(?) liquid they use helps with the silkiness of the beverage which is generally smooth in the first place (likely sifting any chunks of matcha). The fruit base isn't overpowering and helps compliment the sweetness with a hit of fruit flavor rather than obscuring it (out of the two, I prefer strawberry). All in all, a delicious fruit matcha latte and bodes well for their milk tea drinks which I was originally there for. Hope to come by again sometime!

My Matcha Oreo Crème Brûlée was absolutely delicious, rich, creamy, and easily my favorite. My mom loved her Peach Green Tea too; it was refreshing and had just the right amount of sweetness. Unfortunately, my husband's Cookie Butter Coffee was a disappointment. We ordered it at full sweetness, but it wasn't sweet at all. Instead, it tasted overwhelmingly bitter, and we couldn't taste the cookie butter flavor whatsoever. After trying it myself, I had to agree. Overall, the quick service and most of the drinks were great, but the Cookie Butter Coffee definitely missed the mark. I don't tend to go for really sweet or fruity drinks, so I decided to go with what seems to be a default drink here, the Madagascar Vanilla Matcha. Someone in a previous review mentioned that it tasted very milky, so I modified mine in hopes of preventing that. I switched out regular milk for soy milk AND added an extra shot of matcha. Both of these mods were charged for, so I paid over $9 for this one drink!! The matcha was STILL very weak and flat. It was honestly very disappointing. The cashier was very nice, she mentioned they did not have the Ceremonial matcha at the time, which tends to be the most flavorful. Maybe that was the issue? Hopefully that is brought back because paying $9+ for mediocre matcha is not good business. The location is nice though.
