For a long time I was really into boba but a couple years ago I inexplicably stopped. After having lunch nearby, I was suddenly craving a milk tea boba and this place popped up on my yelp app. As you can guess, the theme here is bunnies. Lots of rabbit decor, wall paintings, and statues. Very cute. There was a good amount of seating inside for those wanting to sit and enjoy their drinks. The bubbly young woman at the counter took my order and had it ready in a couple minutes. After looking over their extensive offerings, I decided on a Hokkaido Milk Tea with boba. You can request your sweetness level preference; I like sweet so 100% sweetness was perfect. The flavor was pretty good and I liked the squishy-fresh boba. I sat inside for a short time and was impressed with how the sole worker handled the sudden influx of customers (funny how they all seem to come in at once), never getting flummoxed and always with a smile on her face. I used to live in the neighborhood and came back recently. First time trying this "new" boba store and was pretty disappointed. My friends and I ordered a couple of drinks and regretted it badly. Despite being one of the only customers at the store the drinks came out slow because staff were talking to their friends. I wouldn't care for this, but if you can't make the drinks right the first time, then maybe you should focus a little more. It's not that hard to remember cream, when the drink comes with it. The drinks were overly sweet even at the 50% level and still lacked flavor. Their premium tea is masked behind the copious amounts of sugar and not brewed long enough to have a lasting tea flavor. Also, is it normal to have whole tea leaves in the drink? This is the only boba shop that I know does this. Overall miss the prior establishments as they were more consistent and cheaper. Not saying they were good, but in my book they rank higher compared to bunny cha. read more

I ordered the Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea w/ half sugar and light ice. It was ok, nothing spectacular. It served its purpose. However, there seems to be something at the bottom of my drink. Maybe the powder didn't fully dissolve? The powder part was disappointing. My friend didn't enjoy her drink at all (Unicorn Tears). At 75% sweetness, it was far too sweet for her. I came here because I love bunnies and I wanted to see the big bunny in the store. The store is clean and the decor is freakin adorable. The bunny stop is a great picture spot. There's labubus for sale, or likely knock off labubus, not sure as I never liked those things. The staff is friendly and drinks were made pretty quick. Then again no one else was in the store. My review is based on the drink I got. I ordered the Unicorn Tears drink and while it was beautiful with the color gradient of the butterfly tea with the mango, it brought me to tears because it was sooooo sweet. I ordered it at 75% sweet and it tasted like it was 110% sweet. I couldn't even drink it. I even waited over 30 min until I got home to try it again thinking the ice would've diluted it but it didn't. I ended up brewing some tea at home and mixing it in, it sort of helped but by that time I was over trying to drink it and stuck it in the fridge for tomorrow. My fault for not going back to ask them to make me a less sweet one, but just know that this drink is disgustingly sweet even at 75%. I do not recommend this drink at this sweetness level. If you decide to try it, ask for it at 25% sweet. read more

I stopped by Bunny Cha with my sister and had a great experience. The boba shop is super cute, with lots of bunny-themed decorations and fun photo spots throughout. We tried the Rose lychee green tea, Hokkaido milk tea, and Brown sugar oolong milk tea, and all three were flavorful and refreshing. I also liked that you can customize the sugar and ice levels. The staff were incredibly friendly, prices were reasonable, and the overall vibe was just really welcoming. We'd definitely come back the next time we're craving boba! read more

The place is a former tea spot that bunny cha has taken over, and it's very similar to the bunny cha in gardena as it has the same owners. I got an osmanthus tea without boba and it was light and flavorful and very clean tasting and sat and checked out the place. Seating is ample (tho the place is not yet decorated) and parking is open and with tons of spots. It looks like a cute date or family spot. I was about to drive out of the plaza when I took a look at my drink and started backing up to return to the store and let them know that they forgot my grass jelly. We saw a new boba shop replaced Craftea. It's a higher price price point and has a menu selection that is more comparable to other boba shops. There are boxes of toys if you're into that. And a little photo op section in the store with their bunny mascot. There is a seating area with several small tables. Service was nice. We got their fresh fruit teas. I got rose lychee green tea (0% sweetness, because fruit flavoring already has sweetness to it) and husband got osmanthus green tea (50% sweetness). We usually adjust our sweetness levels because we like the "not-too-sweet" kind of sweet IYKYK. Even with the adjustments, we found it to be sweeter than we like. So if you're like us, I would definitely adjust sweetness to 0 or 25% for any flavored drinks. There are also little chunks in the rose lychee green tea that pack a punch of rose flavor. If you're not big on rose flavor or feel like it's too perfume-like, I would avoid. But if you like rose, it's worth a try! Overall, nice and refreshing! As for the boba... we like boba soft and chewy, but it was a little al dente today. But the boba was free for the soft opening, so grateful for that! Will try their milk teas next time! read more

I've taken my kids here for boba twice, and both times were incredibly frustrating. One visit was 30 minutes before closing, and the other was an hour before. Both times, the store was staffed only by very young kids. Whenever I tried to order boba for my children, they always claimed they were out. The first time, I ordered a drink based on the picture because it looked like something kids would enjoy, but it turned out to be just straight tea. Since I was clearly there with young kids, you'd think the staff would have the decency to mention that. On my second visit, when I asked why they were out of boba again, they blamed it on the morning shift not prepping enough. Honestly, it felt like they just didn't want to do the dishes and clean the equipment before closing. Every time I visit, it's just super young kids running the place, which makes me seriously question the management and what the owner is doing. I will definitely not be coming back. read more

I like this place. It's in a small plaza in Cypress, but there's plenty of parking spots at any time. It's near an urgent care, dentist, ice cream place, sushi place, and coffee place, and even a grocery store. So you can literally do all your errands and get a meal before you even hit Bunny Cha. Bunny Cha has a lot of great options for drinks, and nearly everything has a degree of customizability. They generally recommend 50% sweet, which is what I normally get, and it's a good balance. Their drinks all look like pastel artwork cuteness. They also randomly have a claw machine for mini plushies if you are inclined to spend some money to play them. I like that the service is fast, even though generally there's only 1 or 2 workers at any given point I've been there. They greet you fast with a smile and work on your drink in a timely manner. Love their drinks so far! I've had Bunny Cha in Southbay where my siblings live and loved it. I've been waiting for a good Boba shop to open near us and I'm so excited Bunny Cha opened up near me! I've tried Rose Lychee GT, JGMT, and Sunny Honey and loved the strong tea flavor. I don't mind paying a bit more for a quality drink. Only thing I would suggest though is to make the boba a bit softer. All three times, the boba was a bit hard. My husband went to get green milk tea on Halloween night. He noticed a bunch of teenagers(?) that were loitering/vaping inside the store that he almost didn't go in. But after seeing a mom and young daughter go in, he decided to go in as well, seeing that there would be other patrons as well. Once he came back, I noticed that the drink was not even filled all the way. And as you can see in this photo, we didn't even drink it yet and you can see the drink starts at the B of the bunny word on the cup. For the price of the drink, I expect the drink to be filled to the top. First time coming here and while the drink was okay, there's so many boba options in this area we probably won't be coming back from this experience alone. read more

I question how this place stays in business. Website says opens at 11:00, however, handwritten hours on the door say 12:00 daily, which is too late in my opinion especially on weekends. If you go at 12:00 the boba won't be ready because employees are not there ahead of time to prepare it. Went at 7:30 tonight and they said they are out of boba. the ai-generated menu is enough for me to dock 4-stars (i wish i could do zero to be candid). that should tell you all that they would rather cut corners than dedicate time to cultivate a fully authentic experience for their customers. i can't imagine wanting to spend time here because the drab pastel purple on the walls makes it feel more like the backrooms than a fun place to study. my friend and i got the rose lychee green tea and the osmanthus matcha cloud. i would add one more star because the rose lychee tea was THAT good (just make sure to get it 25% sweet lol), but i won't because the osmanthus matcha cloud was genuinely disgusting. no floral/light notes in that drink, just bitter and yet still too sweet. the "matcha cloud" that the baristas forgot (because they were too busy chit-chatting with their customer friends) was NOT matcha in the slightest... why did it taste sharp and cheesy???? it looked yellow instead of bright green.. and why were we spitting out whole tea leaves after drinking it... i wouldn't have ordered it if i could tell what it looked like from the menu. oh wait! i couldn't do that either because everything is ai! just a joke of a place. commit to being a toy store or a boba spot, but please not both. go spend your $8 for a real drink literally anywhere else.. read more

Bunny cha took over CrafTea. Cute interior and drinks are pretty much the same but the prices are much more than what it used to be when it was CrafTea. Mango slush used to be like $5 but now it's $7. Craftea used to split one drink into two cups for my two young daughters for free but today I saw that at bunny cha they charged .75 extra and she didn't even tell me it cost more. Probably won't be going back. read more
