Artist are always bringing in new pieces so definitely revisit maybe once a month if you're in the area, I felt price and was very reasonable, especially since it was art. The store itself was very neat, clean, and organized . There was a kind gentleman who was helping me check out on July 5. He held good conversation and even helped me pick out a good piece of art that I was looking at. I try to hit up local artisan places because I feel they truly know the beauty of their own home as it is in their backyard.

I walked by and was instantly intrigued by what I saw when I walked past the front door. There is truly something for everyone in here. I was instantly drawn to the beautiful glass fused jewelry who was made by the artisan who happened to be working the shop that day, Lori. All of the handmade jewelry here was so beautiful- fused glass, sea glass, and my favorite dichroic glass jewelry. I ended up buying a matching dichroic glass pendant and ring set for $30 total. I get complimented constantly on them. I wanted to buy so much more!! Another of my favorites in the store was Queen Bee Herbal- natural soaps, lotions, bath bombs, and things of that nature. I chose the lemon chiffon hand & body cream because it smelled so delicious. I also bought about 6 of the bath bombs because hey, those are awesome! I just found her facebook page "Queen Bee Herbal" so I could find out where to buy more hand cream! Luckily it looks like she does the farmers market in Portland! I could have spent so much money in here. Another artisan creates drawings/paintings of cats, dogs, or horses frolicking along the beach having a good time like they are human beings. Originally home to the local chapter of Knights of Pythias, this space has a long history in Brunswick. I attended an event here this weekend which was the first time I had been in the new space and was very impressed by the results. The room still had the important elements preserved but is now more accessible and usable in the 21st century. Well done.

It is two store fronts full of stuff, nicely arranged. Staff isn't in your face. Hard to walk around with so many items, but it is worth it. My son loved playing with the large gongs they had. I usually find that the appeal of a consignment store really rests in the eye of the buyer. With that said, Starry Eye's consignment collection is small yet particularly selected with a great many beautiful, quality items at reasonable prices. I should also mention that in addition to clothing, they have a great selection of shoes and even some quality toys and puzzles! I have purchased many gifts there for friends having babies and always get a "where did you get this?" when bringing a gift from Starry Eyes. Tip: The store does not necessarily wrap gifts, but they have adorable bags and tissue paper and are usually happy to fix something up for gift giving. Tip: They do have odd hours, so call ahead!
