We were very excited about this place. Is located in the Montmartre area of Paris It's a really beautifully decorated small restaurant with a couple tables for sitting outside. It's also very interesting that it was located in an old butcher shop.. Every day there's a choice of three raw and cooked organic dishes cold pressed juices and craft beer from the area I ordered a potato soup which was delicious and a pancake with savoury toppings such as sweet potato and pomegranate. I really enjoyed both dishes. I also ordered a lavender charcoal juice which was almost not drinkable. My husband ordered the curry which was simple but hearty and delicious. The service was fast and friendly I would definitely recommend this place for all vegans and vegetarians or people who are sick of eating tons of meat and cheese which take over most of the menus in the area. read more

One of the best and most interesting vegetarian/ vegan spot near Pigalle/ Montmartre. Highlights -charcoal water - it was my first time drinking regular water with charcoal in it. -charcoal smoothie -the vegan dog was ahmaaaazing -Aubergine dish with mango flavor sauce was outstanding. Coffee not so much. Interiors were chic and loved the green tables outside. I guess that's symbolic to Paris. Will be back again! read more

I just don't understand the praise this place has gotten. I found it on Google, where the average rating is through the roof. I came with a party of four on a quiet night of business. Despite this, it took 10 minutes to even be given menus. Almost all-vegan menu, with plenty of variety. I tried the red curry pho -- nothing even slightly resembling a curry or pho. The portion was miniscule and for some reason comes with a side of basmatic rice, a very strange choice to serve with a soup. Quality was pretty subpar -- edible and decently spiced, but the broccoli and cauliflower were way overcooked, and there was barely any tofu. This was tremendously disappointing. And for such a small portion, you pay a hefty price: €17 for that measly dish. Sadly, meals like this give vegan food a bad name -- non-vegans end up thinking vegan food is lame and thus it harms the cause. My 2-star rating is generous. read more

I've been traveling with 2 veg friends (from NY and Belgium) this week and we were extremely grateful and lucky to find this vegan restaurant tonight, right next to our airbnb. It was exciting since we've been living off mostly bread, cheese, and pizza/pasta this week due to limited vegan options. The ambience was cozy, but way too warm, so much that the windows got steamy! The tables were full and people were chatty, but it would have been nice to leave the door cracked. It was rainy and cool outside. We ordered the falafel/hummus/spread/greens appetizer, veggie burger, seitan, rosee cider and wine, and rose cake. The food was decent, except the seitan was lacking the actual seitan and was mostly potatoes in a creamy sauce. My friend had ordered it and was a bit disappointed that neither the seitan or rice was warm. I was trying to taste it but 2 fork fulls gave potato only, a bit of a let down for 16 euro. There were only 2 dessert options, but not very exciting - a rose cake and banana bread. It would have been nice if there were vegan versions of French desserts like a chocolate pudding or fruit tart. We wanted a water refill since it was so hot inside, but the service was mediocre (a bit standard for France though since there is no tipping). We'd still recommend giving it a try! read more

I loved my experience at this all vegan and gluten free cafe. Ava the owner was so friendly and warm and welcoming and Canaan was also wonderful, and answered all of my questions even though I speak a little French and he speaks a little English. They have many warm drinks, tonics and juices as well as vegan and gluten free cookies and cakes. They also serve dinner and lunch depending on the day and time. The environment is like an indoor garden and the music choice is my favorite..old time jazz. And they have WiFi. Thank you all for making me feel so at home. read more

Was super excited to go here--it looked super cool, but I was so disappointed! It took maybe 30 minutes after ordering for the food to come, and it was simply not good. Pasta overdone and flavorless, little texture in anything, etc. Nice servers and location, but really, go anywhere else. You can't put a pansy on anything and call it good food! read more

After a few days of eating meat, I decided to go vegan for dinner. I had a date and banana smoothie. Well done but I wished it was a little thicker and colder. The cauliflower burger was tasty and filling. Prices were a little high (the combo was around 25 euros). But it's a pretty place -- looks like an Anthropologie store. read more

Had the vegan brunch here. Wow!! Incredibly fresh and seasonal preparation. Biodynamic. The 25 Euro prix fixe menu included many items, including choice of fresh juice and hot beverage, plus salad, cold soup, hot main, a fruit cup, and a dessert. Very healthy and filling. A double rainbow of vegetables. The flavors are bright and complex and harmonious. Was like a tour of local produce. Strongly recommended, especially if you're in the neighborhood visiting the Sacre Coeur. read more

We were walking through Montmartre... desperately looking for a vegan place to have a late dinner, and found the Abattoir Vegetal! The dishes were extremely colorful, wholesome and YUM! It is hard to find a vegan place in Paris, so this lovely gem stood out. It is a very light and airy place tucked in with the other places on the hill. The menu is simple and very extensive in terms of the juices and teas. I had the chickpea burger for dinner and the okra tempura. The bun on the burger was white and sesame seeded in the U.S. California style, and the cashew nut secret sauce was a little spare but we were to happy to find fresh healthy food that I am not complaining. Reasonable price and filling, fresh tasty dinner with Signature fantasam tea for drinks. Thank you for being patient with our broken French: you made these weary Americans very very happy! read more
