Hate to share this, but we feel we need to. Had a very bad experience with our Standard Poodle Taffy . The owner was not in the day we took our Taffy in for her 6 week groom.. Apparently they had used an un-sharp razor on her. When we got home the groomer had shaved her tail so close on the underside it was sore and bleeding from one end to the other. Her cut was blotchy all over which in the two years we used their service. The owner had told us on many cases how the like to cut our Poodles. because they were so good on the table. We called several times to reach the owner, sent e-mails with pictures, and never got a return call from the owner, even though her staff said she would be calling back after we had left multiple messages. In the e-mail we advised that we were unhappy and to please not cash our check until we came to some type if agreement. Guess what! The check was cashed and we never got a call from the owner. Sad part about it we were very happy with their service for two years...we live in Canton and drove almost 90 minutes each time we brought our two girls to the groomer. We plan to take legal action to recover the $85.00, which we think they stole. BEWARE IF YOU HAVE AN ISSUE AS THE OWNER IS NOT AN HONORABLE PERSON. Like read more

Love the ladies at Abba Dabba Dawg. Our Chihuahua, Stoner, hates getting his nails trimmed. Everywhere else we had taken him was not a good experience for any of us. I can bring Stoner here and they treat him with kindness and it shows in how he reacts. He's much calmer. We will always come here. Update- June, 2019. Awesome, awesome, awesome. We love this place. I have taken my dog here every 6 to 8 weeks for 4 years. Debbie the owner, Cammy the groomer, and the entire team shower my Monster with love. I drive 30 minutes, passing several other groomers, to get to Abba Dabba Dawg and I have no thought of going elsewhere. Caring/professional staff, grooming done beautifully per changing specs and a fair price make this THE place to go in Pickens County. read more

Absolutely horrible! Took my Yorkie in at 930am and she was left there till 5pm and that was after me walking in to get her personally, after not receiving a phone call for 8 hours! She came out completely bald! Didn't even recognize her! And if that wasn't bad enough, when I walked in to get her the lady was mopping the floor and made the comment "I knew as soon as I started this, yall would walk in." There was no reason she should have stayed even when they were cleaning up the place! You wait till customers leave! What a disgrace! I will never ever use this Groomers again! My baby was so hungry and thirsty when she came home and completely exhausted! I do not recommend this place to anyone! I even drove a county away thinking I would get high expectations. Is there a rank for 0 stars? I brought my dog here for the first time and after being there for 7 hours the owner Debbie said they couldn't finish grooming my dog until past 3 when they closed. I had another appointment at 3 and asked to pick my dog up at 4. She said she would charge me a late pick up fee even though her groomers were the ones that were late! I said no to the fee and picked my dog up early and when I came in she charged me $26 for a wash and wouldn't let my dog out until I paid. Debbie was extremely rude and called me a BITCH to my face in front of her employees who were laughing at me. I felt very threatened and scared for the safety of myself and dog. If she acts this volatile and unprofessional to people, I can't imagine how she treats dogs. The world is crazy today and I felt she had a very evil streak in her for no apparent reason. I urge you for the safety of your animals, please do not bring them here. read more

Debbie not only takes GREAT care of your dog, she is good natured, will take the time with huge baby pups and is always consistent and reliable. I was a dog groomer for 18 years and I can tell you from experience that she is the BEST! read more
