I found them on Yelp and when I asked our vet for a boarding recommendation, they mentioned The Pet Resorts. I called to schedule my dog's "vacation." They took down all of my information and sent me an email with everything we agreed upon, including a furminator bath and groom. The staff was professional, friendly, and helpful. They also seemed very knowledgeable. I received an email and phone call reminder of our dog's stay with them. They suggested that I fill out the new customer packet prior to arriving. However, I had printer issues and was not able to. They printed it for me when I arrived and I filled it out in their spacious lobby. It was lengthy and thorough. Their nightly rate of $40 per dog is for their Standard Runs, $52 per dog for their Pet Suites. Add $5 per night per dog during Holiday periods. Half day fee for pickups after 1 PM. Pick-up and drop off anytime during their business hours. When I picked up my fur baby, he looked so good! Probably the best groom he's ever gotten. We were very impressed. They also gave me a report card that accurately described his personality. He was definitely tired when he got home. The Pet Resorts board cats as well. They offer a pet taxi to pick up and drop off your pet for an additional charge. We will continue to use TPR for our dog's future vacations.

Not many reviews but everyone was 5 stars. I was encouraged so I set up an 8am to 4pm trial run. Cue loved it. What gorgeous country grounds and the facilities were amazingly spotless. The staff is incredible. Efficient, knowledgeable and very caring are a few descriptions that head the list of many qualities they have. His first overnight was a very relived success. Yes they sent pics of him every day. I don't think his feet ever touched the ground as all the photos were of him being held by by different staff members (lol). Immaculate facilities. When I asked why no pet odors, the staff member simply replied , "the owner won't allow it". My pet will not be going anywhere else and I'm so glad he has found such a wonderful boarding facility. Thankfully, he was staying at Puppy Haven. The staff noticed right away that something wasn't right. They called me immediately, stayed calm, explained what they were seeing, and reassured me that they were taking action. They quickly transported him to a local urgent care vet they knew and trusted (who was also amazing). What really blew me away was what happened next. An employee stayed with him at the vet to hear the diagnosis, learned that he needed to be transferred to an emergency hospital for surgery, and then personally took him there as well. Since then, they've checked in multiple times to see how he's doing. It was honestly a pretty awful situation, but Puppy Haven made it so much better. Their attentiveness, compassion, and willingness to go above and beyond for one of their dogs is something I'll never forget. We are incredibly grateful and thankful to have a place where we can leave our pups and truly not have to worry. If you're looking for a daycare or boarding facility that genuinely cares about your dogs, Puppy Haven is it.

Throughout their visit with her, we received photos and updates that reassured us that all was going very well! But when we saw our pups today and they were happy and content, it through us over the Moon!!! Unlike other services, I don't enjoy "testing out" a new place because some of these facilities are incredibly unreliable and in some cases can do harm to your furry children. I rely heavily on the recommendations of others and I try not to add hyperbole and base my reviews on true experiences. It took us awhile to find Kirkwood Bark and Lounge Doggy Daycare. We were looking for a place that loved dogs as much as we did, had ample play time during the day in a large open space and then a clean sleeping area for the evening. That combination of requirements is surprisingly hard to come by. Kirkwood offers all of these although their space could use some upgrades. We have 2 big dogs and I will say that Kirkwood has always tried to accommodate our schedule even during busy boarding times. They have several sizes of rooms for the dogs in the evening and we go for the bigger size when available. During the day, they play with the other dogs who board or who come for daycare in the morning and they have a video cam (an archaic one unfortunately) where you can check in on them (although it's often far away and you can't see them). A good sign for us, though, is that our dogs run in without ever saying goodbye when we drop them off! Like many other boarding places, they require vaccinations to be up to date. When you first board with them, you have to do a meet and greet to ensure they understand the temperament of your dog and you get to inspect their facility. The people here are great, kind and professional. Often times you may not be able to speak with someone when you call. No worries, just leave a message and you'll be sure to get a call back quickly. During the pandemic, many businesses have been affected and Kirkwood has been incredibly flexible trying to keep their business running while trying to provide a service to their customers. In my opinion, Kirkwood provides the best boarding I could find in the area.

We took her there even before the new management recently took over, and I've been thrilled with all of the updates they've made. They've recently done some renovations that make it look nice, the place actually smells CLEAN every single time (it used to reek of pee a lot of the time before new management took over), and the staff is super friendly. My dogs tail just wags when she sees some of the staff there. They're also getting a lot better about posting daily Instagram photos, and I love when I see my little girl pop up on the daily photos. They're prices are totally reasonable for both boarding and daycare (day camp is $28 and boarding is $40 a day) - yes, the prices increased recently, however I still feel like the costs are reasonable. They have an online service that makes it super easy to request daycare or boarding and they're really quick to confirm your reservation (before you'd have to call and pray someone picked up the phone to reserve anything) Huge kudos to the new management for what they've done, and to the entire staff for making my baby feel comfortable to be there!
