It's been there as long as I can remember for the last 30 years or more. Over the years it has had a couple different names from what I remember but the price for making keys is reasonable. Took a couple key FOB in to have the keys cut and programmed. They screwed up one of the keys when they cut it and then told me that it was the wrong key and wouldn't program. Didn't offer to fix the key they mis-cut. The guy took 20 minutes to attempt to cut the key. When I asked how much to purchase a key and have it programmed. They gave me the big hard sell that if you went to a dealer they would charge you around $400 but we will do it for $285. I went to a place in Canby that was recommended by a friend, they not only were able to use the one key that Abba's didn't screw up and stated it was the wrong key but sold me and programmed an additional key for about $100 less than purchasing just a key from Abba's. I would not recommed this place to anyone, they prices were out of line and they appear not to know what keys FOBs will work or maybe wanted to just sell their own FOBs so they can maximize their profit. read more

I originally brought in two blank keys to have programmed for my car which only had one key when I purchased it. They could cut the keys but could not program them and I was charged $50. During the process of 'programming' these keys several of the idiot lights came on my dashboard. I was told to just drive around and after a while they would turn off. One week later they were still on. I then had them order a key that they knew would work that cost quite a bit more. All in all I returned to the business 4 different times to try to remedy the problem they caused. No matter what I tried based on their instructions to me (they would not try anything themselves because "I am not a mechanic"). Exasperated from trying to fix the problem they caused, I finally went elsewhere and the problem was fixed in 15 minutes and cost me $100. When I called to explain what had happened I was astonished to realize that Gil, the owner, was blaming me for not reaching out to him personally after returning to his business 4 times! He told me he would refund my $100 but that it was my fault! After a belligerent discussion from him over the phone I filed a $100 dispute with my credit card company which he then refuted. Apparently, this company does not endorse their employees or back their services. My experience was the opposite of "Integrity". Will not use them again. read more

Oh my gosh! I couldn't believe how quickly they responded! I let them know when I called that there's no rush, but Gill told me their policy is to do their best to get to all calls ASAP. He wasn't kidding! They were here in 30 minutes and changed our two door locks within a half hour, maybe 45 minutes, had the keys ready and even repaired a sticky front door handle that we've dealt with for years! I stopped at Abba's to have one key cut. The shop I had gone to was going to was going to program the key for free. Apparently the to year old Les Schwab would not maintain a voltage of 12.5 volts to accomplish that. I then looked at the battery and saw that I still had three years of warranty , and I would take my pickup down the street a half mile to a Schwab store right down the street. The proprietor ignored everything I said to him and kept on working after he told me about the battery issue. A long story short. I was barber shopped. He was packing on everything he could come with, so it ended on costing me $50 for one key. $50 FOR ONE KEY! I absolutely hate hate it when someone assumes ignorance on thee part of their customer and then scams the hell out of you. I started working for Firestone when I was in college. Proof that nothing ever changes and that you're going to get burned occasionally. From now on I'll take the extra 10 minutes and drive downtown to The Green Key. Unless you have an overwhelming desire to own a $50 key. read more

Complete scam. Purchased a smart key for my truck for almost $300. Went to pick it up two times and both times the lady working said her husband wasn't there so I'd have to wait to pick it up another time. On the third attempt he goes to connect my key and says I have "one of those trucks that we can't install a key for" even though he had seen my truck and been given the details when I purchased the key. He then told me if I would have bought a 3rd key that it wouldn't have been a problem (great advice from the key salesman). He then told me to go to a shop in East Portland to have it installed and acted like he was doing me a favor. Complete waste of time and money. read more

Amazing service. Came in to get 100 copies and the employees made a customized lock to test each key they made to be 100% sure every key given to me will match the original. Then he made me 2 extra copies for the "originals" AND discounted for buying in bulk. They also said if we have any problems to come back and they will fix it. I love this place read more

We've called locksmiths in the past and gotten some national clearing house where a guy comes out, does shoddy work and is gone the next day (literally out of state) unable to follow up. My front door handle decided to disassemble itself internally, locking me out of the house. I tried a few things to get the door open, and likely made things worse as parts began falling out of the latch. No matter what I tried, I could not get the tongue portion to back out of the pocket in the door frame. My call to Abba's resulted in fast service with the owner taking over the exasperated and clumsy mess I had made. It took a few tries, but he got the door open. Examining the pile of parts that had fallen out, he said he was pretty sure he could save the whole assembly, and in fact he did, saving me around $200 for a replacement front door latch assembly! I went there Saturday, early in the afternoon, 11-21-2020 only to find a CLOSED sign on the door. No signs with Hours of Operation or when they'd be back. Then I called a phone number that was on the door saying for Emergencies call XXX-XXX-XXXX. Got voice mail. I left my name and number but to date I still haven't heard back. I was referred to Gil - Owner of ABBA's Integrity Lock & Safe through trusted members of the West Linn Safety Facebook page who have had experience with this company and Gil. It was an emergency that we get all our doors re-keyed due to attempted unauthorized entry into our home. We have kids! I called and explained the situation and they arrived in 15 minutes. Both Gil and his apprentice were very professional and also assisted with security recommendations, without attempting to sell me any product - I asked. Not only did they re-key our front deadbolt but they installed two new deadbolts (we already purchased) and the handles at no extra cost and gave us a $25 discount on the service fee which is very minimal. Plus they made us 2 extra keys for a total of 4. I checked and they all work perfectly. They saved my husband from coming home and installing the hardware on the two additional doors (very nice and kind, as they not a handyman and went above and beyond). We can now have piece of mind that all doors have new locks and the same keys and sleep well tonight! Plus my husband can come home and enjoy time with our family. Thank you for your kind heart and amazing service! We will use this service again and would not hesitate to refer to anyone we know. I feel strongly any negative reviews are unreasonable people with unreasonable expectations. They were amazing and trustworthy and fast! We brought our 2005 Infiniti in today to get additional keys made, we brought in one in which we purchased off the internet. They warned us that most internet purchased keys are not programmable due to the transponder chip not being of a good quality. They ended up breaking the key while cutting it and replaced it with one of theirs at no charge, they were kind and professional. read more

It really says a lot about a company the way they react when an issue is brought to their attention. You would expect a company especially one who uses the word "integrity" in their name would choose to conduct themselves with more respect and couth than was conducted today by this company's employees. The way they behaved was despicable. My sister and my friend saw a van of this company pull up and park in a handicapped parking spot at Jensen Beach Petco. Perturbed by the situation, they proceeded to watch as the gentlemen smoke cigarettes and converse with some others people standing outside. My sister then took a picture of their license plate ect. They posted it on their Facebook, and the company replied with a satisfactory we're sorry and will sort it out type of reply. everything was fine after that and they went about their day. This next part is the part that prompted me to write a review, as what happened was incredibly childish and unprofessional. A few minutes after getting the reply my friend got a phone call from his work asking if he knew a Gil, and that he had just called there looking for my friend speaking aggressively demanding his his personal contact information and iud he is working, and began threatening with suits if they didn't take down the post. Almost directly after my friend got a friend request on facebook from ( who he found out ) to be one of the employees from said van as he reveals himself in a review my sister wrote on their page apologizing claiming they took too long. Now being extremely frustrated and frazzled my friend commented to ask what to do now, to which he was met with an aggressive comment back claiming that it's completely legal for them to park there if they are writing a receipt. ( which to clear things up IS NOT legal according to WA state website didn't check OR) Regardless of the parking violation thing, (which having a handicapped mother is extremely disrespectful and morally crappy in my opinion) it's a small issue and is honestly not the big problem. The way this situation was handled was absolutely inappropriate, and that is the reason for a review. I feel that specifically Gil, as well as the company owes him an apology, and in the future should NOT conduct themselves in such a way. Hunting somebody down and threatening them at their place of employment over being reprimanded is the issue. That is wildly inappropriate. I'm sure this company is fine at their job, I do not want to deface that. What happened had us shaken up. You never realize how easy it is for disgruntled people to find you on the internet. I hope that everyone involved learns from the situation. I know we have. Next time they will just simply call the police to be safe. read more
