Called back at 7.10 for update, operator said he'd find out and call back, which he did at 7.20 to say taxi broken down and no other vehicles available.  What kind if service is this? 50 minutes later than expected and dropped at last minute with only a simple verbal apology. Disgraceful behaviour from a company that states on its answering service about moving large quantities of people. I wouldn't trust you to walk my dog!!!!

After pulling up next to me at the roundabout he proceeded to scream and shout, much to the bemusement of his 2 elderly passengers, and then attempt to crash in to me. After finally running a red light, he glided off in a cloud of smoke toward the next victim. I hope this guy applies for his driving test soon, but in the meantime I'd steer well clear (literally). The phone operator was quite polite when I first called to inform him of what had just happened, and while I understand he only had a one sided adrenaline fuelled rant from me, accusing me of breaking the law by being on my phone and driving, doesn't give me much confidence that he will speak to the lunatic driver! (voice controlled dialing by the way). So, in summary, if Alton towers isn't open, and your a Base jumper who loves to take a risk, or just enjoy being driven by a buffoon with no regard for other drivers, ask specifically for plate 4117 - MMA training would be a bonus for when he kicks off at drivers not anticipating his needs and getting out of the way for him

I still use them when I to and fro there for various reasons. We've used them countless times since moving to the suburbs, and they've not let us down. In fact my visiting friends asked one of the drivers for a curry house recommendation in Rusholme and he was only happy to oblige... and it was one of the nicest curries we've ever had. Plus there's one driver who always takes me to SafeStore and is as friendly as they come - last time he even showed me some pictures of his lovely family on his phone (while keeping his eyes on the road, obvs... I'm not daft) and asked me about my driving lessons. He even helps carry my ridiculous volume of boxes to and fro. He's a keeper. If that doesn't make them a good cab company, then nothing else will! Note: There is however one driver that I've since nicknamed as having The Deathcar. That guy scorches over speedbumps like some kind of demon. Kinda smells like booze too. Meh, it's an adventure...?

The drivers are very friendly and chatty and very helpful, for example if you are going to the airport they will sort all the bags out etc. The prices for taxis are also very competitive. I have recently moved areas which is a shame as it means i can't use this taxi firm but i recommend anyone in the area who needs a taxi to the airport to use this taxi firm as they are the cheapest I have come across. A lot of other taxi companies rip you off for airport runs. Also another thing to bear in mind is they dont increase their rates after midnight so if you are on a night out and get a taxi back it is well worth booking with them rather than hailing a taxi down in the street.
