I entered the quiet store that two people just left from. Locating their bat bags way up near the ceiling at the left of the store, I had to ask about the smaller bags and then ask again to have 2 brought down. The red mizuno bag was heavenly. I then looked at cleats as mine were falling apart once again. The store person pretty much left me alone - much to my dismay and multiple questions. After viewing/trying on all shoe potential, I asked again for help and he suggested the non-clearance. The 1st pair was golden but I tried a second to ensure I was certain . Then as I made my way to the cashier I noticed a bat bag backpack. Wow!! I was so glad that I got cleats or I might now have realised the better option.

Hub Sports is a business that provides all of this and more. It's not a large location, however Hub manages to pack a great deal of well organized gear between its walls. Prices are reasonable, however the free advice is worth a few dollars mark up on some of their gear, when compared against some of the big box retailers. If you just want to fool around fishing, by all means go to Wal-Mart, and spend $60.00 on a rod / reel combo. However if you want some friendly old guy to give you a basic run down of what lures / bait to use for what species of fish you're after, go to Hub. The old timers may even share a few secret fishing locations with you, if you're personable.

The First time I came in I needed a box to ship a snowboard, I assumed I would have to buy one, but they looked for me but couldn't find a specific snowboard box so brought me out some ski boxes tape and scissors! Mind you I had never been here or shopped here before I couldn't believe how gracious they were! Not to mention I had a friendly dog hanging around as I was building the box! So rad! The next time I had to sell some of my gear to pay a bill and the guy working in the gear section could feel my pain and gave me a really solid deal that he really didn't have to! This place is special In Bellingham and the people who work here have to be the best spirited team in any shop around town.
