Awesome local shop to stop in at. I go there for my skateboarding and snowboarding needs. A lot of Western Washington University students don't know about this little shop, but I hope they find it. You'll find awesome t-shirt and hoodies, jeans, skate and snow gear. One thing I like is how they support a lot of local companies and organizations. The guys at WWS are always promoting and participating in local film releases, film fests and competitions. read more

Cool little spot! This shop has a variety of board sports equipment! I stopped in to check out some snowboarding gear- while I was pleased with my visit, I didn't find much luck with boots I wanted. However, the guy who helped me out was super attentive and very laid back at the same time. I like how they had a variety of different brands and didn't focus on just one. The shop also had some pretty sweet deals. I will definitely be coming back to buy some gear soon! read more

Decent skate shop, has it's hits and misses but overall I do enjoy shopping here from time to time. I'm a skateboarder only so I have no experience or opinions with the snowboarding selection here, I'm sure it's good but it's not really something I can comment on. Like any local shop, it's way more expensive than a place like Zumiez so I tend to avoid it for most things that I can just pick up there (clothing especially. I'd steer clear if that's your reason to visit) however, for things like decks, griptape and the sort, you can go generic and save some money by buying from WWS. The staff is cool; easy to talk to, knowledgeable, but they can be a bit too laid back sometimes and unreliable. Though as long as you approach them they'll help you out with whatever you need. The selection is fine, definitely not the best, but I usually find what I need. There have been times that they didn't have a certain type or brand that I was looking for and that can be annoying. All in all, it's a good place for skateboarders to get the stuff they need, but not quite a 5-star place. If you can afford to shop local for skating, I'd say this is the place to do it but otherwise, a place like Zumiez will do fine. read more

These guys are great - they are very helpful and receptive to all your needs (especially if you're a newbie to any board sport). WWS offers a lot of awesome longboards (skate kind, not surf kind) from Sector 9 and Lib Technologies. They have a good selection of snowboards for each season, and they guys there know about the area mountains (Baker, Whistler/Blackcomb). Prices vary from item to item and it can be a little more expensive than other places, but you can get some amazing deals here, especially if you're buying a lot of product. They also sell local clothing lines by BurlyGirls (one of my faves) and they have a whole lot of gear with their logo on it (represent!). *Super friendly and knowledgeable local shop *Great prices. *Good selection (Lib / Gnu heavy) I pretty much stumbled upon WWS this past Saturday while out searching for new snowboard bindings and couldn't be happier with the service and pricing I got there. They were the second shop I went to (had to look a bit for them as they're off the beaten path) but should have been my first. No one touched their pricing on the bindings, and the service was super. Zero pressure sales and very helpful with any and all questions I had. I'll definitely look to WWS first next time I need anything. read more
