SCAM ALERT! Just like all the other reviews say, do not go to this bait and switch used car dealer. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY CASH!! They will LIE, LIE, LIE to you to get you on the lot, and try to talk you into giving them cash down on cars they do not even have on their lot. I called this place Friday, inquired about a car I saw on their website at a low price. My instinct was that this was another shady car lot trying to scam people. So I called them. I spoke to Giuseppe, who said he was a salesman, and I asked him about the all the fees and for him to give me the out-the-door total price including tax, tag, and title, and I was bringing a plate to transfer, and I am paying cash, no financing. The $16,300 car would be in the $17k range, and absolutely NOT over $18k out the door everything included. I again asked him specifically about the dealer fees, internet pricing, and the paying cash fee. He said don't worry about those, it will be under $18k total. They can waive those fees. He said the car was sitting outside and looks beautiful and I could drive it away today if I came in now. I told him I'll call back Saturday and come then. I asked him about these fees because on their website's fine print, that probably no one but me reads, it says they may add a $1000 dealer/ reconditioning fee, and the advertised prices listed are after $2000 down payment, plus add up to 20% more based on the total price, if you are a cash buyer. This 20% additional fee for cash buyers is to make up for the lost interest and kickbacks they get when selling the car via financing. Next day I called and spoke to GiGi?? and they said I need to set an appointment or I can't come in to buy the car. I gave her my info, told her what I wanted to buy, only 1 specific car, and I asked if the car was still sitting on their lot, she checked and confirmed it was sitting out front and ready for me to test drive then buy. Since I buy a lot of vehicles, I am good at spotting scams, so I still felt uneasy about these fees being waived and asked her what the price was. She confirmed it would be no more than $18k out the door, all in, total. I showed up for my appt, there were a lot of shade looking people hanging around the lot that looked like crack heads, enough to give you a very uneasy, unsafe feeling, like you need to watch your back and your wallet, and maybe need to be packing a gun. The lot was packed 4 cars deep bumper to bumper. No one was wearing a Covid-19 mask except for me and the extra driver I brought with me to drive my new car home. We walked the small lot packed with about 50 cars total, not 165 like their website advertises they have in stock. We did not see the car I was coming to buy. Thought maybe they're still prepping it. A young lady named Maggie greeted and asked to assist me. I told her I'm here to see and buy a car and had an appt. After about 20 minutes of talking to her, and her going to talk to the owner a couple times, she told me the car has not made it to the lot yet, that it was at a mechanic shop nearby getting certified and ready, and that shop was closed, but I can put down cash to hold the car and come back in 3 to 7 days to see and buy it. I said I'm not putting cash down on any car they don't even have on the lot and I can't inspect. She also said the out the door price was $22k cash, not the $18k the other 2 reps lied to me and told me. I asked Maggie why the other reps lied to me to get me to drive an hour there, she said she did not know why they did that, but she hears the same story from a lot of people that come to buy cars there. This car lot lies and tells you anything to get you on their ghetto hood rat lot, then try's to get cash down from you for a car they don't have on the lot. This car lot is only there to rip off people that their sales staff can con into giving them money. They will lie about cars they don't even have, tell you fake out the door prices, and ask you for cash deposits, that I am sure the buyer never gets back. BUYERS BEWARE! If you care about your credit and professionalism, you'll go elsewhere. I just left this place and will never go back. Their prices are underpriced to get you in the door. They even have a disclaimer inside on all their tables that basically says the online prices do not include a host of fees. I've personally seen people walk out of their office furious and I understand why now. If you care about your credit and not being screwed over, then you will not go here either. They are walking a very fine line of operating immorally and what appears to be fraudulently. They're using predatory practices to trap people who are ignorant of how credit works. I wanted to test drive a car and the guy said they have to run my credit before allowing me to test drive a car. Pair this with them being extremely understaffed. Every time I've been there, they had no time to help me. There are 10 to 15 people shopping for cars and maybe 4 to 6 people working. This is the 2nd time I went there. The first time, I called ahead of time and asked if a car was available. They looked it up and said yes. When I got there, they basically said the car had been sold a while ago. Straight lied to me. I was furious after driving from Clearwater to Tampa. I got one of their salesmen's number to get updates on cars in my price range. I texted him a few times and never heard back. Super unprofessional. I doubt how they operate is illegal but it's shame that they are preying on people in this manner. I will contact the Florida state attorney general and the CFPB to report this and verify if this isn't illegal. PROS: None. Feels like scam the minute you step out of your car. Unsure how they've not been fined or shutdown. The add $2k to the selling price at the very last stage of the buying process, after hiding and outright denying this during the process. Here's our experience: Went to the lot since they had 4 cars we were interested in. They were very accommodating for the test drives and very friendly, but you could sense something was off. We finished and asked them to work up their best price and out-the-door (dealer fee, taxes, title, tag, etc.) all-in figure for our favorite we drove. They said their best price was what was on their website, that it was up to the minute accurate, and the price the taxes, title, tags, etc would be based on. They said they would send the out-the-door figure that afternoon. Nothing came. I called and followed up with Pete two more times, and asked, specifically, if the negative Google reviews were true that the prices on the website were $2k low and that we would get a surprise when we began doing the loan. He said that was not true, and the website price was accurate. 3rd day still no figures sent so I called and asked for a manager. The manager answered, apologized, and asked what I needed specifically. I told him I needed the figures for the out the door price sent via text, or a picture of the paperwork showing the above figures. He said no problem. I got a call and Pete tried giving these figures to me verbally, and I asked if he could please send them via text or a photo. He said that was against their policy. I then explained, given the reviews about their F&I tactics why it was a red flag for us that they kept pushing us to come to the lot (1 hour away) and were not only guarded, but had an outright policy, about providing normal shared figures given during any car buying process at "normal" car lots. These figures are always given early on in the buying process, so something was definitely off. Pete said he would go ask for an exception, but given that they had never followed through on returning a call, I said I would be willing to take them verbally in the meantime. That's when he finally stated/admitted that the web price was based on an assumed $2k down payment. Exactly as the negative Google reviews stated, and that he had previously denied to be the case 3x times in the last 4 days. They are disreputable, untrustworthy, and unethical. The sales guys are insanely nice and you can read their body language that they are trapped in a scheme they are uncomfortable with from either the F&I person or owner. I'm submitting a case to the BBB and contacting the dealer licensing division of Hillsborough County to report the situation as well a few news stations who specialize in exposing these types of schemes. read more

Called the dealership, spoke with Peter. I was specifically looking for the 2017 Honda Civic they had with a manual transmission. I called around 5:30, spoke with Peter who said the vehicle was there and that he was quote, "staring right at it as we speak!" So, I drove 45 minutes in rush hour from St Pete to the dealership and was greeted by Juan who was super professional but advised the vehicle had been sold he believed. He went and got Peter who came out and asked what brought me in today. I reiterated the Civic I had called about an hour ago. He said yeah, I sold that earlier today, can I interest you in an automatic?! Visibly upset I said no, I wanted the manual that I called about or I wouldn't have drove almost an hour each way to waste my time. No apology, not a damn ounce of sympathy. My 19 year old son went to abc autotrader and Sergio showed him a vehicle that they didn't even have in stocks on his computer. Convinced my son to give him $2000.00 deposit. Later told him he did not qualify for the car and kept his deposit. Never gave it back. My son has been back several times to ask for his money back and they keep giving him the run around, don't answer his calls and totally are ignoring him. Very bad, this place deserves 0 stars, but yelp will not allow it. Just some words of advice. If you drive off the lot it's going to be a 995$ fee along with 0.99 cent per mile driven off of the deposit that you made, make sure that you get a copy of everything you signed that day, just because you have the receipt does not mean they will give you a full refund in the original payment method. Also be sure to have the vehicle checked by a mechanic no matter how new you think it is. If you still decide to buy (not recommended) know that whatever price you see on the website, there is an additional "Non-governmental Tag Agency/Courier Fee $125 and Electronic Registration Filing Fee $579, a $1,995 fee, Destination Charges $1050, Document Processing Fees $995 Reconditioning Fees (will vary depending on the vehicle)." A 18,000 used car can easily become 26,000 with them. Also, you might have to come back because the finance department is backed up, and don't bother asking any of the salesmen question they don't know until you speak to finance. Also check the Kelleybluebook value if KBB is telling you the car is worth 25,000 and they are selling it for 19,000 it is not a good car. How would they be able to stay open selling cars undervalue like that they wouldn't be able to make a profit. But please don't take my word for it check them out on Better Business Bureau, or Yelp, or their review section on Facebook. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS LOT!! Yes, they may have a lot of nice, unique vehicles on and their prices MAY seem like a good deal but it's all a LIE. I had just gotten into a car accident and didn't have a vehicle for about a month and I wanted something I would love. I found a 2019 Dodge Charger on Carfax and it was listed at ABC Autotrader. I called customer service and got prequalified. The agent told me I did NOT need a co-signer. Well, I drove an hour and half and got there around 6 pm. I was greeted by a "saleswoman". She ran my credit and told me I would need a co-signer. When I told her about the agent telling me I didn't need one, she told me she didn't know why they said that and that I do. I got over that issue and decided I wanted the car anyways, which was listed on the website as $19,000. I waited around a lot, my original saleswoman all of a sudden had to leave and I was told to find someone else to help me. There were customers and workers running around everywhere, standing outside of the "office", it was very chaotic. I ended up being the last customer to be helped and leave the lot. We didn't get called back until after they closed! Like I said, the car was listed for $19,000. I ended up leaving signing and paying for the same car at over $30,000! That's with NO warranty. They add so many "dealer fees" and extra things, it's ridiculous! I regret purchasing a vehicle from them, I was in a very vulnerable place. I was fed up and I just wanted a vehicle and to leave. Nice cars but one of the people (Joseph) I had to deal with was pretty rude to me. He talked to me in a condescending tone and would try to finish my sentences before I would even finish (guy had no clue what I was trying to say because he wouldn't stop talking over me). After finding a car I wanted to finance and asking him a few questions that he either didnt know himself or was too lazy to find the answer to, he just said some more rude remarks to me. The worst experience I have ever had at a dealership. I have purchased many vehicles throughout the years and was never treated so poorly by a dealership and their staff. Since I was driving from a good distance I made an appointment. I arrived on-time but the person I was supposed to meet with was helping another customer, no big deal. Another worker helped me out, seemed like I was a complete bother by him doing so. He took me to the vehicle, which was blocked in and absolutely filthy. Was not even allowed to do a test drive until paperwork was processed. I wasn't concerned, my wife and I both have outstanding credit. We did the paperwork and then waited 2 hours until any progress was made. Meanwhile the "sales rep" we were working with is off helping other customers and completely ignoring us. Then I am told by some other guy I have to put this potential new vehicle on insurance coverage BEFORE I can even be told and discuss the numbers? What in the world?! I called my agent and they were blown away by this request. Never in their years have they heard this. At this point enough was enough, I walked out. As I am about to drive off they say, oh the finance guy can meet with you know... Sure, let's see what he has to say since I drove a good distance and have vested time. So after adding in this fee and this fee and another fee the price is much higher than I thought. Make sure you read what they post on their website. Also when they say optional it really isn't optional. This car would not work with my budget, so I told them what I needed to be at. "Yeah, no problem we can do that. Go test drive this car and I will work on the numbers." I came back and they were 3k over that price? What the heck?! That was it, I left. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking to purchase. Make sure you really read what they post on the website and expect to spend A LOT of time there. After more careful consideration, I have decided that my two previous reviews are to be discarded. I have come to conclusion that the general manager was blowing smoke when he handed me a "work order" for the owner's manual of a high end vehicle that I was told was available by the salesman during the test drive. According to the work order, the manual was ordered and was supposed to be delivered to my residence, that was ten days ago. Therefore, it is my opinion, and subsequently several others that this dealership is nothing more than a scam depot!!! I currently rate this dealership and the people I had the dishonor of working with as nothing but scammers, people willing to lie about anything, as long as they get your signature on the line. As I stated before, I'll never buy another vehicle from this lot, or form anyone associated with the lot, ever again. I just one person reads this and heeds the warning, then I will have done my job, all because a lying general manager wouldn't do his. All the other crap that came with this sale, I was willing to endure, but to be lied about an owner's manual, well that just took the cake!! Generally I keep my thoughts to myself, but when you spend this amount of money, you expect your purchase to be right. As a person of color, I guess the general manager must have thought that I wouldn't take his word that the owner's manual was ordered and would be delivered to my residence. They add 3K for the pleasure of buying with them, then they add certified warranties that you do not agree to. in my case 4300, and they actually add the down payment to the total advertised instead of subtracting it. It is a crazy scam. They pushed me take the vehicle before the deal was done. This was over the weekend. When I came back on Monday and saw the real deal, I wanted to return the car. We arrived at 9am and after scheduling an appointment they acted as if we hadn't been in contact with them. After leaving us outside for an hour they ignored that I already had financing through capital one and stated they had to run through their team to the banks. I filled out an application and they kept making me wait on test driving the car until the financing came back. Leaving a bunch of other equally not great situations out as it was hours of run around, but 4 hours later they come back with financing from you guessed it, capital one, but refused to tell me what my interest rate and monthly payment would be until they got my 1000 down payment. I mean flat out refused they just kept saying give us your card we will take the deposit then you will sit with the finance team and they will tell you. After this we walked out completely fed up. Flash forward at the dealership where we actually bought or car they informed us we almost fell through on financing as it turns out ABC did a hard pull of my credit TWICE and then ran it across 18 different banks. I went in with 694 credit already approved for a hefty sized loan and I left with a 601 fighting for anything I could get that wouldn't break the bank. This place is absolutely terrible. My car was ok but not the same car I asked to purchase and the window on the passenger side was missing and they said they would work on fixing it ?! This is a horrible car dealership. The price of the vehicle online said $6,400. But by time I got out of the door my payments were $374 a month for 54 months that's $13500 so they put an extra $5000 on the car and that plus the $2000 I put down on the vehicle. They said it was in then"small print" that the price was after a $2000 down payment but i went back and looked- no mention on the listing. Bait and switch. Plus excessive dealer fees of various sorts. Plan on paying $3000 or more than advertised pricing before tax, title, sales tax. Absolutely the worst car dealership I've ever been to. Do Not even attempt to buy from this garbage place. We saw a car on their website that was priced reasonably and decided to go check it out. The place seemed very sketchy right off the bat. The staff kept constantly swift walking through the whole place acting as though they were extremely busy and couldn't be bothered to answer a simple question. In reality they keep their customers waiting for hours. I'm convinced they do this on purpose to wear down their customers in hopes that they will agree to a scam easier. We waited three hours for them to finally give us a break down of all the fees and to give us a final price. Well long story short, they lied about the final price, told us to sign some papers, give them a 2k deposit, and take the car Temporary while they tried to get us a better finance rate. We left confused because we were at car max the day before and with a 744 credit score, got a rate of 4.5, yet this ABC Dumbos tried to tell us we only qualified for a 8% interest rate. When we came back to finish the deal, we waited another 3 hours, they tacked on an addition $5k, didn't give us the promised lower interest rate, and basically tried to blame us for not reading the legal gibberish on their website, disregarding the fact that the salesman lied to our face about the final price before. When we refused to buy the car, they said they Will need to keep $700 of our initial deposit for a "reconditioning fee", another item on the papers they made us sign that we specifically asked about and were told not to worry about by their incompetent staff. When we confronted them about lying, they basically said we shouldn't have trusted them so easily and signed, basically admitting that they're scammers and are blatantly untrustworthy. Basically we lost our money and I truly believe they would have kept our full deposit if we hadn't made a fuss in their precious dealership, which is basically just a glorified trailer And their whole staff are a bunch of incompetent, money hungry losers in business attire. Definitely will continue to warn everyone I can about this place and will be reporting them to the BBB, as well as leaving as many bad reviews as it takes until this corrupt hell hole is shut down. read more
