I bought a car on 3/22/22 drove it home to Bradenton only to have the transmission go out on it. The customer service is ridiculously bad! I was there for three hours waiting for them to keep asking me for paperwork! They won't let you test drive until they run your credit (which is unheard of at any other dealership)! They are insanely rude and are just there to waste your time! The sales people do nothing but sit down the entire time and play in their phones instead of update you on how the process is going. The managers do nothing but hide behind closed doors in the office! There were only two productive sales people working there and unfortunately I didn't experience the attentiveness of those individuals. The cars are set at a good price because you have to deal with nothing but frustration during your wait. The female manager was extremely rude and obnoxious as we were asking for our personal information back, and they somehow managed to loose my paperwork until I told them I was not leaving until they gave it to me. Once I received my paperwork back it was crumbled up like it had been tossed out! I definitely would not want my worst enemy to experience the unprofessionalism displayed at this dealership! Upon leaving the employees made jokes about me and my grandmother and were laughing as we left the premises! We were very patient and cordial until the end but they on the other hand were not. The Finance person, Mike, did stop at the page where the actual numbers were and presented the options. I saw the $10,500 and thought we were all on the same page, so we signed. After re-reading the contract, the car price was $21,000 and the 10,500 was just the finance portion. I called back to see if there is anything that can be done since we purchased the Car on 7/5. I was told no and that Florida does not have a "Cool Off" period to return a car in order to get your $$ back. I am a Veteran who proudly defended the rights for this country and this is devastating for our family. I encourage any Veterans or people in General to consider not buying here. If you do, make sure you get the actual price for the Car up front not the finance charge price. All I can do now is warn other Veterans\potential buyers. I just recently purchased a car from this very kind snd helpful establishment . From the first phone calls all the way to the in-house experience everybody was extremely nice and very pleasant to be around. Even though I had a very unique situation they were extremely eager to make sure that I was going to drive home with my new car. My husband is a boat captain and right now is in the middle of the ocean in Guyana and even though it took a little more time to get it done, their whole team worked together ... between phone calls and emails and pages having to be scanned back-and-forth from the dealership to the boat and back... They made it happen! I was very impressed and extremely happy with their service and I got to drive off with my brand new beautiful car! I highly recommend their service !!! read more

Worst dealership ever. The price on their ad is $2K than the actual price, I did not find this out until I was already at the dealership. I bought the car in February and it is the end of April and I still have not received my plate. I have been calling about the plate for the past 3 weeks only to hear the same story - that they just got the plate and it will be mailed and that I will get it next week. When you call they keep you on hold forever and then they tell you anything just to make you go away. The worst of the worst when it comes down to professionalism and customer service. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE !!!! DO NOT COME HERE! I don't ever feel the need to write a review for a place but have never been to a worse car dealership in my life. Firstly, I made an appointment here and they told me they would have agent ready for me to show me around. When I got there they weren't aware of my appointment and did not know the agent that was in charge as I was never given a name. But no worries , I am a pretty patient person. As the guy goes inside to check for an agent for me,my mom and I go around to start looking at some of the cars we saw online. The same guy comes out and asks us what we are looking for. He still has not introduced himself. He shows me to a similar car, does not say anything about the car or its features so my mom and I are just looking inside ourselves. I ask him for the price and mileage, he says he does not know and will look for us. He then tells me after checking the price he says it goes for around $18k. While he goes back inside to talk to someone else leaving us to look around ourselves at other cars.I pull up their website and see that the 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport that he showed me previously was actually $11,950. When he comes back I ask if it was the same car and he says "Yes it's the same car,I just gave you the final price to not waste your time." I understand there are dealership fees but $6,050 is an absurd amount of money in fees. I tell my mom it's okay let's just go. And the dealer rolls his eyes and walks away!!! Again he never even introduced himself so I don't know his name, but he is light brown-skinned (perhaps Hispanic or Indian). I want you to first know that this bad review is not based on being a ABC customer but on being a potential customer. So I found this place on Facebook and was wowed by Victors reviews from people he had helped. So I set up an appointment but prior to going in the office I informed the sales team that I was not ready to put anything down just wanted to see what I would qualify for and they understood told me to come in, I Stressed that point before I went in as well as when I arrived to the establishment. So after Victor answered my questions he got me over to a guy name Larry, so again I explained to him that I wasn't putting anything down at that moment. Well I guess Larry did not comprehend that because he kept hounding me saying "So you don't have any money? Not even a boyfriend or A SUGAR DADDY YOU CAN CALL?? So I politely brushed the comment off but then the man says it again!!!! He tells me "TO CALL MY SUGAR DADDY AND GET SOME MONEY." Now listen I almost fell out my chair in disbelief that this man is consistently Implying I was the type of women that would have a SUGAR DADDY!! I feel as if he thought less of me! Bait & Switch. First of all, car I was interested in was listed on AutoTrader.com for $14,899 which is more than $10,000 below KBB market value (KBB lists it as worth ~$25--$29k). I called the dealer number listed on this site at 2:55pm, Sunday and spoke with Candace, the customer care agent with ABC AutoTrader. I asked whether the car was immediately available (because I had an hour drive to get there) and she said YES, and that nobody had asked to see the car that day. At 2:58pm I received a text confirmation from the dealer for my appointment at 4:00pm, requesting that I ask for "Johnathan, our sales manager" who would direct me to Richard, my sales rep. I arrived at 3:51pm and spoke with the sales representative who informed me that the car I inquired about had "unfortunately" sold the day before (Saturday), but that they had three other Camry's on the lot to choose from (which were all priced much higher than the original car). I spoke with the sales manager, Johnathan, who said that the situation was "out of his control", that the listed dealer number on Autotrader.com does not go to his dealer lot, that Autotrader.com can take 1-2 days to remove a listing, but that he could sell me a different Camry (for many thousands more). The car I called about is currently still listed on AutoTrader.com as I write this. There are many reviews stating similar experiences on Facebook, KBB, and google, Cars.com and more. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!! My family and I went to purchase a car listed for $11,400.. Put down 3k and when we went to finance the price suddenly became over $25k (way more than the online disclosure fine print)!! We obviously no longer wanted the car at that price, but they wouldn't give us back our $3k down payment!! We were told over the course of week that they couldn't until the mysterious "check writer" was there. They avoided our emails, texts and calls for a week until we finally drove up there and pleaded with them to please return my money. They finally gave me a check, for $2200. They claimed "restocking fees" were the reasons. The car was only in our possession for a few hour and we didn't back out of the deal because we no longer wanted the car, we backed out because they LIED about the price of the car ten fold!!!! So "restocking fees" should have been their responsibility, not ours! That being said, one would say they STOLE $800 from u and countless hours of our time. I I went to the dealership with the sole purpose of purchasing a car Upon arrival I saw people there I had no idea who worked there but I was not greeted by anyone I walked around for about 20 minutes while it was hot checking out the cars When I wasn't approached up to 20 minutes I went to my car Before getting in my car I asked one candleman that was standing in the shade drinking if he knew who worked there and he said that him and another guy did and I said okay he said why and I said well no one asked if I needed help and I left. I was actually recommended to go to this place by someone else who recently bought a car there but I was very disappointed in the customer service meanwhile the whole time I had cash ready to pay for a car in full. I did not get the names of the 2 gentlemen that were there to assist people of course because they never came to assist me but it was a black gentleman and another guy. I believe a coaching and a retrain is definitely overdue needless to say I myself will never return nor recommend this establishment read more

I bought a 2017 Jeep Wrangler of this dealership on November 5th, 2021. The vehicle seemed to be in good conditions, and according to the dealership there was no issues and the inspection was fine. As soon as I signed all the documents and drove the vehicle off the lot, it light up the Check engine light, I reported it to the dealership and they said to bring it back the fallowing day "that they would cover all the repairs." They ended up having to repair the suspension of the vehicle, but they still needed to replace the exhaust because the catalytic convertir was bad and it was aftermarket, but this they choose not to do and did not even tell me about it. I had to find out because after picking up the vehicle from repairs the engine light came back up a day after, I had to take it to an auto on for the to tell me what the issue was, because the dealer failed conveniently to inform me of this. When I confront them, they told me that I needed to take it to their mechanic, I did this and they told me that last time the vehicle was there they did not wanted to pay for this repair so they told the mechanic to leave the exhaust it as it was. Then when I called the dealership they said that they won't pay for those repairs and that it would be my responsibility, that the card was no longer their responsibility. They also told me that I needed to call the bank. The dealership is the one who is responsible to have their vehicles k les yes and in good working condition for their clients to buy it. How are they going to have this car in their lot with all this issues and not report it to the buyer. This is not fair to me, because now they are saying that is my responsibility to pay around $1000 to fix an issue that the vehicle had before I bought it and that the dealership failed to report to me as the buyer. read more

Buyer BEWARE!!! I would give negative five stars, if I could! STAY AWAY!!! This place is HORRIBLE! The advertised price is nowhere close to accurate. First, they added an extra $2000, saying they assume you'll put that much as a down payment. The cost of the vehicle we wanted went up over $7000!!! Should have ran away and never looked back. Received at least two letters from different banks saying they wouldn't approve the loan because the collateral was not worth the cost of the loan. Told us we'd get the missing key and other items that went with the vehicle, but that was a LIE. As soon as they got our money, they were done with us. Would hang up on us when we called for information. Told us they would charge 20% more for paying cash, which should have set off red flags. Instead, paid the agreed upon down payment which we were told included everything but the loan amount. HA!! Paid off the loan the first month, received release of lien from loan company but these scammers held our license plate hostage, forcing us to pay ANOTHER $461.15 to get it. They tell you one thing and have you sign something that doesn't say the same thing. I know no one does this, but you need to READ everything they give you to sign here. They are NOT trustworthy. And if you don't believe the reviews and go here, be sure to ask for copies of all paperwork because they don't like to give it to you. PLEASE READ: Here is why I am changing my rating it from a FIVE STAR to a ONE STAR. In the beginning when i first brought the 2014 Volkswagen Jetta, the car was running good, the salesmen were of course great and was advised they can help me boost my credit and refinance my vehicle. After almost one year (2017) of making on time payments, keeping up with the maintenance and the oil changes, they'll call you to see how's the vehicle doing so far and say to you due to making payments on time and see my credit score is rising, i am eligible to refinance or come in to trade into another vehicle (I declined the trade in and trade in of course is not always a good option since you'll still be responsible in making payments from the previous vehicle you first purchased, so basically you'll be paying for two cars instead of one). I asked ABC AUTOTRADER if they can help me refinance my car instead since I already tried to refinance my car myself MULTIPLE TIMES before due to being told NO from my credit union and other banks due to the principal needed to be payed down more since the value of the vehicle is worth less when i first brought it in 2016. Even though your credit will go from okay to good, you'll still have to pay down the principal since you're interest rate will be high depending on your credit. Abc autotrader told me NO, they couldn't help me refinance my car I would have to look into a credit union or through my bank MYSELF to refinance (I already did and they told NO due to my principal balance being too high and would have to pay down almost $6k or more in order to be considered to be refinanced). Fast forward to 2017, even while keeping up with the maintenances and oil changes, i had little issues like having to change the radiator ( VERY COSTLY FOR A VOLKSWAGEN). I thought okay I shouldn't have much problem with the car since I keep up with the maintenances and oil changes. Now we are in 2018, the alternator needs to be replaced ( VERY EXPENSIVE ) and i have spent well over almost $3k since April of 2018 and had nothing but problems after problems with the Volkswagen even while going to the Volkswagen dealership. If you are a single woman PLEASE DO NOT BUY THEIR VOLKSWAGENS you will regret it and wished you never brought the car (VOLKSWAGENS ARE NOT CHEAP TO REPAIR). I learned the next time to do my research before buying a car from a buy here pay here because even though they sell 2 years old or less vehicles, the maintenance is very expensive and with the warranty you'll be paying about $300 to $500 a month but that doesn't mean that you are guaranteed all repairs will be fixed since the fine prints will say which certain parts will not be included and you'll still be held responsible. Oh and by the way originally I had my rating at 1 star due to another issue i had with them before and was called to change it (this happened in 2016) since SUPPOSEDLY the lady was going to get fired if I didn't which is a bunch of BULLSHIT since they all worked together for many years so i knew already that wasn't true but changed it because I didn't want to be harassed about leaving a negative review but now this is will stay as a ONE STAR since it's been nothing but problems since I had this vehicle and feel trapped into constantly repairing it and on top pf that wanting to refinance but can't at the moment due to the principal and my credit score is well over 640. ABC AUTOTRADER is a NO in my book and unfortunately this is not my first time hearing about their cars being not so good after a year or two from others who had the same or similar experiences and Boyyyyyy they were definitely right. Okay, shady as hell, warned my girlfriend as soon as we walked into the place, advertised vehicle for $8,260 on line price, plus a 1995 deposit which they conveniently and purposely put into the middle of the print, but is there. We drove the car after three hours waiting for a locksmith to come and make a key so we could start the car, sat down and the salesperson asked her to fill out credit application, I asked her to see the full numbers or price on the car and said they couldn't give them to us until she applied, then when I insisted, she went to management and came back with, get this, $15,146, BEFORE tax tag title. Part of the charge was 2,695 for a pre certification warranty that we were told we had to have and then when I pushed her, the salesperson said no, 1,000 of that was optional but the rest was automatically added and you couldn't refuse it. Since when is a warranty on a used car mandatory to buy, pretty sure that is oh I don't know illegal. And they want to charge $2,196 for prepping the vehicle, (which means washing it), because that's all it looks like they do. BEWARE, read more
