The very night I drove the car home, both a "Check Brake Light" warning and a "Service Required" message appeared. I brought the car back the next morning (8/3), where a technician simply reset the light, adjusted the housing, and sent me on my way. By the following morning (8/4), the exact same safety warning returned. Hoping for a real fix, I scheduled a service appointment for Wednesday, 8/5 at 6:00 AM. I arrived early at 5:55 AM, only to sit in the waiting room for four wasted hours because the technician didn't show up until around 10:00 AM. Their second "fix" consisted of merely bending tabs inside the housing. Unsurprisingly, as soon as I pulled into my work garage later that afternoon, the "Check Brake Light" warning came back on for a third time. When I called to request returning the vehicle due to a persistent, unresolved safety defect on a car I had owned for less than 72 hours, Gettel's attitude completely shifted. I was dismissively told the deal was already funded, that an intermittently failing brake light is "not a safety concern," and that I was on my own to take it to a Kia dealership for a diagnosis. On 8/6, I took the car to an authorized Kia dealership. Kia diagnosed the defect immediately: the light fixture itself was faulty and required a $330 replacement. To make matters worse, Kia's inspection revealed that basic pre-sale maintenance Gettel was supposed to perform before handing over the keys was completely ignored, leaving me facing additional unexpected costs right after putting $3,000 down. Gettel Stadium Toyota passed off a vehicle with an active electrical and safety issue, forced me to wait four hours for a non-existent repair, and completely washed their hands of responsibility the moment the check cleared. Do not buy a used vehicle here unless you are prepared for immediate mechanical issues and zero support. I am fully willing to amend or remove this review once Gettel management makes this right by reimbursing the $330 repair bill for the brake light assembly and completing the overdue pre-sale maintenance at no additional charge to me. Until this is resolved, I will continue sharing this detailed, documented experience across every major review platform, my social media channels, and local community networks. The response received so far has been to call the generic service number. I've been transferred to the "manager" 3 times today, no answer and have left several voicemails. We purchased a vehicle from this dealership on May 30th, 2026, and while there were some employees who provided excellent customer service, the overall experience was unfortunately very unprofessional. First, I want to recognize Austin, our salesperson. He was friendly, patient, and did everything he could to help us. My husband wanted to inspect the underside of the vehicle before purchasing it, and Austin accommodated that request without hesitation. He worked hard to help us get a deal we were comfortable with. We also had a positive experience with Noe in the finance office, who was professional and courteous throughout the paperwork process. Unfortunately, that's where our positive experience ended. When it came time to discuss GAP insurance and other add-ons, a representative from JM&A was brought into the office. We politely declined because we already carry loan/lease payoff coverage through our own insurance policy. After we declined, she made an inappropriate comment to the finance manager, saying we declined because we "couldn't afford it." We found that comment to be rude, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary. Regardless of why a customer declines additional products, they should be treated with respect. Also, the dealership's license plate was accidentally left in the trunk. I didn't discover it until I had driven approximately 45 minutes home, requiring me to make another trip back to the dealership the following day to return it. The biggest issue, however, was what happened after the sale. My temporary tag was set to expire on June 28th, yet my permanent license plate, registration, and sticker never arrived. I visited the DMV on June 23rd, where I was told the dealership had completed the title paperwork on June 16th and that I should contact the dealership for more information. I called the dealership and was transferred to the appropriate department, but no one answered. I was told someone would call me back, and they did the following day. I was told they believed my plate had been mailed with two-day shipping the previous week and that they would investigate where it was and call me back within the hour. I never received that follow-up call. Because time was running out before my temporary tag expired and I didn't receive a call back, I drove back to the dealership in person. Erick, the finance manager, tried to reach the employee responsible for the registration but was unable to get an answer. I asked if they could provide a tracking number for the shipment, but no one was able to do so. Erick took my phone number, gave me his personal cell number, and assured me he would take care of it, mentioning that the Juneteenth holiday may have delayed the mail. I waited as requested, but nothing arrived. I called Erick's number and received no answer, even after leaving a voicemail. I called the dealership again and still could not reach anyone who could help. With my temporary tag about to expire, I had no choice but to go back to the DMV and pay for a replacement license plate myself on the 26th. The most frustrating part of this experience wasn't simply that the plate didn't arrive, it was the complete lack of communication and follow-through. Phone calls were not returned, promised updates never happened, and no one could provide something as basic as a tracking number or a clear explanation of what had happened. This place will rip you off if you let them. Three things from my experience: 1. Car price was more than stated on the internet. When I kept asking, they eventually 'changed the numbers' so that it appeared to reflect the internet price. But there was still something wrong. I was expecting a couple of thousand in registration, tax and title fees, but that didn't explain the complete difference. 2. When I asked the manager to explain the discrepancy, he said that since we're paying cash, there was a surcharge being applied because they get a commission for selling financing packages. I'm not a lawyer, but this could violate a part of federal law, known as Regulation Z (do your own research). Whether legal or not, it's definitely shady. 3. They completely low-balled us on our trade-in. We took the same trade-in to the dealer we ended up working with (AutoNation/Toyota Pinellas Park), and they gave us $3,000 more (literally 60% more). No haggling on anything, and we got a better deal everywhere around. We've bought two vehicles in the past week, from two different dealers that both gave us reasonable trade-in values, same price for cash vs. financing, and no haggles. I've never in my life been treated with such disrespect and disregard during a major purchase. With the exception of Sebastian Osorio--who was the only decent part of this process--the rest was absolutely disgraceful. I will never step foot in your dealership again, and I'll make sure everyone I know is warned about the kind of operation you're running. Let's start with your finance manager, Cesar Hernandez. I came in with a legitimate pre-approval letter from GTE Financial, complete with all the necessary documentation. Despite this, Cesar tried to sneak in a second credit check through your system--completely ignoring the financing I already had in place. The only reason that didn't happen is because the GTE rep specifically told me to have the dealer call her, and thank God for that, because what happened next was jaw-dropping. While on the phone with the GTE representative--who had already approved everything--Cesar demanded that the check be sent immediately or "the deal is off" and the car "would not be sold." Meanwhile, I had already handed $5,000 as a down payment and $1,690 for an extended warranty. The GTE rep was shocked and disgusted, and honestly, so was I. Who does business like that? To make matters even more ridiculous, he locked his office with my license plate inside so no one could access it. Is this how you treat paying customers? And it didn't stop there--when I finally went to take delivery of the vehicle, I asked for a quick wash. I first reached out to Gettel Stadium Toyota because the dealerships in my area were not able to get what I needed and this dealership happened to have, on their lot, the car that I was specifically looking for. I first spoke to Lexi who dealt with me the first day on the phone and then miraculously fell off the face of the earth. She was the one who I gave all of the details to, like the stock number, my vehicles details, photos, mileage, VIN etc, and then when I told her I wanted to think on it and get back to her in the morning, she said she would talk to me then. Next came along Ali. Ali was super helpful. Ali was the guy who ran some numbers for me the following day when I was willing to run that credit check. Ali had all of the information he needed to just get the deal done, with little to nothing from me. Everything with Ali went really well. He listened to my concern about running multiple banks and credit pulls and was an overall great experience...until the day of the purchase. I live 5 hours from the dealership. Before I traveled to the dealership, I asked him roughly how long the process would take, since it was virtually all completed over the past couple of days. He told me an hour. Now mind you, I work nights, and I drove down, directly following a 13-hour driving shift. Much to my surprise, the visit when from one hour, to two, to three, all the way up to 5.5 hours by the time I was pulling out of their driveway with a full five-hour drive back home. I understand the dealership is busy, but don't tell your customers it's only one hour, or perhaps suggest to them that you're open on Sundays as well as an alternative. That's not the part that's the most annoying. How about, during those 5.5 hours, most of which was sitting and waiting for who knows what, we never did walk around the car. The car was either being cleaned, fueled, moved, or what not. Much to my surprise, when I got it home, I noticed 2 days later that there is a pretty significant scratch in the paint that was most certainly not caused by me (as I'm fearful to put anything on the red interior so all of my belongings go in the trunk - the damage is on the driver side rear door frame). I reached out to Ali who was surprised to hear about said damage as well and told me that he didn't think it happened at the dealer but would send me a color matched paint pen to rectify the blemish because of the distance between the dealership and myself. He even promised me, over text, that he'd call me the next morning (as I happened to reach him on a day off). Now, he dodges my calls, won't answer texts, and even when I call to speak to a sales manager to rectify the situation, they just keep bouncing me around to different departments knowing I won't drive back down there. I guess they forgot what I do for a living... I expect better from dealerships. Regardless of the deal you think you gave me, that doesn't stop when I walk out of the door. We as customers, are supposed to be customers for life. I hope you consider yourself lucky that I don't know more people in the Tampa area, because I would surely make sure they heard all about you before visiting your establishment. Do better. Be better. The worst car dealership I've ever experienced. This car dealership has everything you hate about used car dealerships. Shady sales men and hidden fees for things like tint ($600) paint protectant ($300) and that's not all! Apparently all this stuff is "optional" but you can't opt out of it because it's already done to the car?....thats insane. They lie about what's included in the warranty they lie about "detailing" the car. They made me wait 2hours for the car to be detailed only for it to be dirty and the paper that was on the floor is now crumpled up in the arm rest. The car was listed for $19,800 on the website by the time they brought me the paper with the added fees the price was almost $26,000. For a USED Toyota Camry with 60,000 miles. Did I mention it was a certified vehicle and ALL of the managers said it came with a 7 year warranty included in the price but when I came back all of a sudden the warranty was actually $1,300. After negotiating the price with 5 managers they wanted me to put down a $4000 deposit to keep the car then when I came back with my financing suddenly the price is changing. PLEASE BE AWARE of FRAUD from the financial manager named NOE. If you get a deal and meet this person as a financial person for you to sign someting, please request for someone else or read and ask very specifically about yout contract. First of all, I checked with the availibility with the car I wanted a day before and the day I'm visiting. And once I got there, they said, the car has not pass the inspection so it's not available anymore. Not fair nor making any sense at all, but I do know this happens at the dealer shop. Either it's truth or just a bait to lure people in. So, it wasn't a smooth start but I went through. I really needed a car for my work and living, the manager and I found a nice deal for me. Here is the part that you should avoid this shop or just this person name NOE. He was very nice and he was training another person names Luis. To be honest I was not comfortable with the situation but Luis is a nice guy and I wanted to suppot him as well. The problem is Noe lied to my face and when I received the copy of paperwork, he charged more than $5000 to my finance plan. And on the contract it clearly says "seller must identify who is paid and describe purpost" about the charges. Clearly Noe did not mentioned any of those. And he even added a feature that I did not want to add because it's too expensive. I asked a question about a warranty that covers scratch, and he found something and gave me the rate. It was too much for me so I rejected to add it. And according to Luis it's in there. I only added their warranty plan because Noe said "It's only a couple of dollars a month". It was around $200 over 45 month. So, I was expecthing around $4 a month. It seems a fair amount for the warranty service, so I asked him, It's only a couple of dollars more on top of the price of the car?" And Noe said "Yes." That's why I signed for it. And while I was signing a lot of papers I tried to look for some pages with numbers just to make sure but I didn't really see it and Noe did not explain anything about extra charges. Ok, maybe I can just call them and talk about it and fix it right? That is exactly what I'm still trying to do and it's been a week now. At first, I though this was a mistake or something. So, I wanted to talk to Noe about it and fix it. And he never gave ma a call nor leaving a message. Instead I had to talk Luis about this and I did not hear anything from Noe. I even talk to the manager and nothing happend. Oh, actually something did happened which made me feel more suspicious. Since I have a very tight schedule, I always gave Luis or the manager my available time. And funny thing is, I get 3 or 4 phone calls from unknown number like 15mins after my lunch break or today it was 30mins earlier than my lunch break and now Noe is telling the manager he tried to call me and I did not answer. How stupid does he think I am? I feel very offended. I feel so bad about myself now. I tried to believe him and thought it was a mistake or something. But now that I know he is purposely avoiding me because there is something fishy going on. How hard sending a text message to a client? How hard is it to find a time to call a client within 6 days? when the client conveniently provided the best time for him? I don't think the entire store is involved in this fraud. Overall, my experience with the shop was very good. Except for this person triying to rip me off. Again, Please ask the name of the Financial manager. He did not even introduce himself when I was there. I had to ask his name to Luis after this issue. I think he did not introduce himself for a reason. So, Please ask the name and if the name is Noe, please, PLEASE! request for a different person or ask the manager, or just be really careful. I don't want anybody to experience this. I had a wonderful experience buying my car here or however, five years later I had a small leak in the front passenger floorboard that was an air conditioning hose detachment. I am seventy years old and I was on vacation on the West Coast and by myself when I brought the car in to have this hose reconnected. I got a text with an $8900 estimate to fix it because they wanna tear everything out out of the car claiming it was flooded claiming there was mold claiming there was organic growth and absolutely scaring the hell out of me that my hybrid Battery was in jeopardy. I called my mechanic at the Toyota in Saint Augustine and he told me that that probably was not the case to get the hose repaired and bring it to him and he would have it reevaluate it. He also advised me that my insurance should pay for an issue of this nature Gettel Toyota never mention that. I made a claim with State Farm and drove it to caliber collision who looked at the vehicle who said there's nothing wrong with this car. Nothing needs to be done. I drove it to the Saint Augustine dealership and they told me they went through the car bumper-to-bumper, and there was no residual water mold, or any pending gloom and doom to my hybrid battery. The only thing that they suggested just to cover my rear was an ozone treatment from any reputable person who details cars. I have made several complaints for the Florida attorney, general and Toyota corporation as this was a genuine fraud taking advantage of a single woman who is seventy years old by herself on vacation. read more

Every time we have our cars serviced at this dealership, something pops up wrong and needs repair within ten days of the service appointment. Every time. Service fees are added without explanation and when questioned about them, the reps give a vague description all while rushing the checkout process. For 22 years I was loyal to Stadium, took all my business there. No longer. Outrageous repair quotes: $ 897.03 for daytime running lights and $ 984.86 for four (16" standard, off-brand passenger) tires, not 20" Pirelli P-zeros (it's a Camery). How about $ 709.40 for brakes. Shameless behavior, this exceeds any reasonable markup we have come to expect from a reputable dealer service department. Employees are taught specific Talking-Points about inflation and supply-chain parts from China due to COVID-19. They are holding my keys until I pay their minimum diagnostic fee of $ 213.17. Had a tire rotation appointment for 5:30 on a Friday. Called to let them know we were running 15 mins late, the guy on phone said that was okay. When we got there, the adviser asked if we could come in the next day. We were annoyed, but we understand it was somewhat our fault for being late. Though I do believe the person on the phone should've just rescheduled at that point. So we come back the next day and wait an hour. I then asked how much longer. They say 20-30 mins. I wait 40 mins. I go ask again. They said our car was just then being taken back and it would be another 30 mins. Oh, but we got a gift card! Completely useless on their part. We won't be coming back here ever again. Absolutely terrible service and communication. Make a farther drive and go to another service center. What a disaster. Never again. They called to confirm my service appointment 3 times. I mistakenly thought that meant they had their act together. I waited at the service desk for 15 minutes before the representative told me I was on the wrong side and to go meet someone at my car who will send me to the other side. 15 minutes later, I am at the new service desk. He told me my new key would be $500 ($300 for the part and $200 to program.). He also told me they didn't have any. I said "but this appointment is for a new key? Don't they check inventory when they confirm the appointment?" He said "well, did you tell them to order it?" Huh? I shouldn't have to. So 90 minutes of my life gone, time off from work, and no new key. I'll never come here again. read more
