He said he'd do it, so we kept him in mind for the job. In May 2023, we decided to simply replace the whole awning and go high tech. Ron came out to review the details of the project, and he's a guy that is always on time. Ron's a very personable guy and lays out your options and cost very clearly. We selected their "Eclipse Retractable Shading System" that is powered by Somfy System, which specializes in motorized solutions for homes and buildings. My wife picked out the color and fabric of the cover and we could not be happier with the way it turned out. The day of installation went very well. Ron had two guys remove, cut up, and haul off the old awning and install the new one. Ron was here and did the final setup. The system comes with remotes that work well. We added Somfy's TaHoma Wi-Fi system that works great and is easy to setup from your smart phone. We love it. Our new awning is providing great valve to our home. Ron and his team will be there to provide excellent support if needed. We highly recommend Excel Awning & Shade.

Also, I had initially purchased the at-home-assembly option for this grill offered by HomeDepot.com - they outsource to a third party with a flat fee charged when I bought the grill. However, this third party was unresponsive, so 3 phone calls later, I cancelled that portion of the purchase. Home Depot gave me no hassle in refunding that fee immediately back on my credit card, and they asked me for feedback on that third party. Hed had to re-hang each gate to get them level and added 6 HD spring loaded wheels, to keep them supported AND so they will last a long time, with his repair. During his repair, I also asked for a quote for about 40 feet of missing privacy fence. He quoted it and even brought the quote down, to help me financially and that I was a return customer. So for everything above, his total was $2200. A price no other contractor came close too!! He finished the gate project in 2 days and the new fence in 1 day, his men stayed until the fence replacement was finished and left close to 8pm! They returned the next day for clean-up amd removal of all the old fencing. He even replaced about 6, 8ft long pickets that were broken from a fallen tree. Outstanding work and I already have 2 new jobs, scheduled in the future, some additional interior sheetrock and paint and to resurface my backyard deck. There is no need for me to even look around for another contractor, as Geovanny and his crews to great work!! If I can edit this review tomorrow, I will add the "repair" photos, I only have the "before" photos now.

James also found that one of the ducts was closed which was an Ahh! Moment since we noticed little to no air flowing . I was shocked how bad our vents were. James and his colleague were very nice and helpful. They were careful and covered our couch to avoid getting debris and they even vacuumed after they were done. The only one problem was they left nails in two of our beds. He did suggest the UV light and will be coming back to install. James was very nice and even with expressing his recommendation, I never felt it was forced at all. Fair price for the service. I will update a follow up once we get the UV light installed.
