In from out of town. Packed everything into our rv. Except for bike shorts. Wanted to ride the pinnella trail. Stopped at DICKS. They had no selection at all. Called abc and jim answered the phone. When I arrived with my bike, Joe, the chief technician, serviced my bike promptly, efficiently and expertly. He charged me very little for his time and my bike has since been working like a charm. I was having an issue with the front brakes of my Trek. I called ahead and spoke with Joe, who knew I was on my way. Joe greeted me outside, wearing a face mask (as were the others inside) and immediately began fixing my brakes. He then made a few other adjustments, filled my tires and I was on my way. If you live in St. Pete and need any bike services, you have to come here. Trust me when I say that this is head and shoulders above any other place in Pinellas County. My wife and I had a nightmare of a bike situation related to our e-bike which required months of back and forth on parts and coordination with the manufacturer. We use the bike daily for our 2 small boys so for us losing this bike was excruciating for our family's daily schedule which sat on top of the frustration with the manufacturer struggling to resolve the issue for months. Enter ABC. Ric patiently managed our coordination with the manufacturer while also doing an unrelated upgrade of our brakes. We tried other bike shops that happened to be closer to downtown where we live and shops turned us away just for having an e-bike. I'm so glad they did because Ric is amazing. The brake service was great and the coordination with the manufacturer on parts and troubleshooting was truly above and beyond plus he did it all with a smile. We've since been back as regulars when bike repairs are needed and haven't been disappointed for even a second. I can't say enough good things about this shop which is also conveniently located near the Pinellas Trail, a Sunrunner stop and not far from the beach. My husband went there yesterday, because his bike tire was flat. The staff there replaced the tire, explaining what the issue was. After brining the wheel home, he had very hard time putting it back on the bike and connecting the breaks, so we both went back to the shop. We were warmly greeted and then the wheel was installed on the bike for no extra charge and so were the handle bars that we purchased there. The staff were very nice, friendly, and patient.
