I prepaid for my dry cleaning and shirt laundering. Apparently they did not annotate their records that I had done so. But when I went back to get my clothes they wanted me to pay again. I showed them the transaction on my credit but it didn't see. Like they treated me like I was lying or trying to cheat them. I was deeply embarrassed and even found the credit receipt. A simple apology would have been nice. The cleaning, itself , looked great and they folded my shirts like I asked them to. read more

I had been going to ABC Cleaners for several years. When I moved back to town I was happy to go back as I had trusted their company to to a good job. However when I went to have a dress cleaned that is close to 35 years old and I had pointed out the rust stains on the gold fabric and lace on a couple different spots and asked the woman if this is something they could do. She assured me they could. When she put me in the system she updated my information since I had moved away and now back in town. When I went to pick up my dress it was ripped in two places and pointed it out to them (both of the owners) and he told me it was already there. I said it wasn't and was very clear to the woman about everything that was wrong with the dress. The man then changed his story and said the dress was too tight, I told him it was custom fit to me at the time and wasn't tight. Then again made yet another excuse that the fabric was old. I said that was why I took it here because the woman said they were able to work on it. His last excuse was this was my first time here and I was trying to "get away with something". I told him the woman had updated my info when I dropped it off and I had been coming here for close to 10 years! I said I wouldn't be coming back and he told me he didn't care because they had plenty of customers and didn't need my business. They charged me full price for my once beautiful and now ripped dress. I am not one to write such a bad review but when the owners clearly don't take any responsibility whatsoever for their mistakes and tried to blame everything on me the customer when I came to a place I have trusted for years my tone has changed. I have never left such a bad review, but I have to caution others from using this service. Took in shirts and when I picked them up, one had bleach stains all over the back. Expensive dress shirt! Stuff happens, I understand. When I walked into discuss this with the two owners I was "strongly" asked to leave. Closely watch your shorts/clothes in and out. THEY DONT CARE....my experience with ABC Cleaners. I have found another Dry Cleaner down the street. Thank you. read more

I called and asked how much a three-piece suit would cost to be cleaned. I was quoted $19. When I got in there I was told that it would be $24. I was lied to and they did not honor the price that they told me. I would not go to this business they are not honest read more

I would yelp a negative one star if it was available. They laundered, not dry cleaned, a queen size mattress protector and charged me $40.00! This experience is partly my fault as the price was on the receipt. I didn't notice it. When I picked it up, and told the price, I tried to negotiate a bit of a discount, accepting my negligence. The owner refused. He said that he had to pay the electricity bill. (He has a point) I just don't want to pay ALL of their electric bill. Shame on me for not noticing the cost. I regularly dry clean professional work attire. This place is great. Family owned. Wonderful folks. Always excellent service and quality product. I haven't considered going anywhere else in 6 years. The wife/owner also does alterations. She's done a number of hems w/ and w/o linings and they've always been perfect. I can't speak to more complex alterations that that (e.g., tailoring). But for the work I have had done - excellent at a reasonable price. They will do pickup/delivery if you meet a minimum quantity which I don't recall being very many. read more

On the day that I picked up my shirts, the owner told me that I had to pay an extra dollar for each shirt because they were small, thus they had to manually press it, thus $12 dollars more than what was on my claim stub. I told him he can't just charge me extra on the spot. He could have called to let me know. I think $3.50 dollars to clean and press a shirt is way too expensive. That's bad way to do business. After picking up my dry cleaning 5 shirts were still dirty, one had a hole on the sleeve, three were not pressed at all. Very very disappointed. I returned to cleaners to see if anything could be done. The lady up front pretended to not speak English the desk clerk was helpful but the store manager said "not happen here and proceded to say "you go now" I had my receipt! Extremely poor customer service. The photos I put on yelp of soiled shirts and torn shirt have been removed. I recommend if your clothes need cleaned pressed and not damaged take time to go somewhere else. read more

Great place to get quick, cheap tailoring done. I wouldn't take a more complicated job here, or at least I have no experience doing so, but if you're simply looking to have some pants hemmed, linings fixed, etc., then ABC will get it done quickly and for a lot less than a dedicated tailor would charge you. read more

Not happy with this place. Twice they have said they could not clean a stain on a shirt that I was able to clean at home. Second time I brought home a white dress shirt that when I opened the bag, had some pink stains on it. I took it right back. The man behind the counter said they could not have done it, that it happened at home. I said I do not wash this shirt at home, since it is 100% cotton. He refused any further involvement. I asked why would his business give me back a shirt with pink spots w/o alerting me. No answer. Never again!! read more

I should have read reviews but they've done okay job so far. Dropped off my coat, came back worse than I got it. I tried to explain this to the owner and he says "sorry, nothing we can do" really?!?! You ruined my expensive coat and there's nothing you can do? Lesson learned, not going here EVER again! This is ridiculous, why do they think this is okay? Very nice lady helped me today, but when I questioned her about a few items that were ruined and not cleaned (smelled) she walked to the back and basically told me my shirts were old (3 were new and one had specific dry cleaning instructions that were not followed). I have been going here (for some reason) a few times a year for the last 5 years. I took some slacks in to have them pressed and starched (I had already washed them) and they quoted me a price of $33 to press and starch. They called back 1/2 hour later saying that unless they wash them they can only press (and not starch) them. I asked how much it would be to wash and press, they told me $49. I had had enough...I called a few other cleaners in the area and found a place that would press and starch them for $33. Needless to say I will not be returning to ABC cleaners. $7.50 to launder and press cotton slacks is absurd. If you drive another mile down the road you can get the job done for 30% less. read more

I'm really sad to update this review. I've been pleased with their service up until this week. My husband noticed that one of his nice dress shirts came back with a big dark line across the back, looked like an iron mark or something. I took it back in, then went to pick it up today. The owner (I presume) said he couldn't get it out and it looked like some type of glue. I asked him if he would compensate me for the shirt or give me some kind of a discount on my next cleanings. He tried to blame the shirt, Brooks Brothers, and me and basically failed to take any kind of responsibility for the damage. I asked if he was interested in doing anything to keep my business and he basically shrugged his shoulders and said no. Ok, message received! Terrible service. They were rude, didn't have my clothes on time, and are a bunch of racists. They treated me like crap as soon as I walked into the door. I was trying to explain what I wanted done and the man kept shooting me dirty looks and interrupting me. I know racist behavior when I see it and this was it. OMG $5.00 for a laundry shirt! The owner said he hand press it and didn't use the machine!!!! I'm from Texas and it cost $1.75 per shirt. Just move here but i will never be back there. And they wonder why they are so slow!!!!! read more

I took in a blanket and a coat in for cleaning. My blanket was cleaned and hadn't suffered any damage, however my jacket had for buttons torn off and the holes were pinned closed with safety pins. When I stopped by and asked for them to repair it they said the damage hadn't been done by them. I can replace the buttons, but I shouldn't have to. read more

I strongly recommend ABC Cleaners. They are a wonderful, service oriented, family owned business. I've gone to them for years and wouldn't consider going any where else. They are located across town from where I live and I probably drive by 10 other cleaners to drop off and pick up my laundry. But, it's well worth it.
