I stopped in here at exactly 9pm, on a Friday. All I needed and wanted to do was throw my BRAND NEW towels into the dryer so I could take a shower at the planet fitness next door, the lady who worked there instantly came right up to me, and aggressively said , "We close at 10pm so we're not currently letting new people start there laundry". And I nicely replied, "I'm only trying to throw my new towels into the dryer to get the lint and fuzz off. I won't take but 10 mins," And she again said " NO..Like I said we close at 10, so I can't let you start some laundry. She was super rude, and super unprofessional, and the fact that she wouldn't let me throw my towels into the dryer was completely ridiculous. So I'm leaving 1 star because of multiple reasons, but if your gonna say you stay open till 10. Then there is NO REASON I couldn't use your dryer BEFORE 10. read more

The lady was super rude told me I needed to come earlier this is my first day off in 23 days and there was no way possible to come earlier I was only 5 min past time to start your last load it was 835 pm and she was just very rude it doesn't even take an hour to wash and dry a couple of loads of laundry I even offered her a generous tip and she told me next time come earlier and I could use their machines now I have to drive literally 20+miles to the closest laundry mat that's open she deserves no stars for her rudeness and even less for being willing to accommodate a fellow neighbor she's lost my 80$ every 2 weeks in business. I just witnessed the Manager, Elle, yell at my friend and I to leave, after she requested that the dryers be cleaned, because they were completely unsanitary, (as pictured below). Elle was rude, unkind, and abrasive. And didn't even ask, what was wrong with the dryer, or how she could help. Masks are also not being enforced here. read more

Yes there are a lot of machines, but also this location has a lot of customers. Dryers, depending on your luck, could be slim picking. I found w experience which machines did a better job, ie wringing out the water. whatever you do, don't overfill them. clothes will come out wetter. I stopped going there, cause owners don't keep a mask on at all time, and neither do customers. When i asked a customer to put on a mask, she ignored me. When I brought it to the owners attention, he had excuses. The air moves around quite a bit in this laundromat, it wouldn't take much for the virus particles to get around the room. This is a great place to get your dry cleaning done. I can't speak to the laundromat part, but the dry cleaning services have a good turn-around time and the prices are reasonable. I've gone a few times, and my clothes have come back in great condition. What I really appreciated after my first visit was that they kept and bagged up sunglasses I accidentally left in my blazer pocket. Instead of tossing them (which some places will do,) they returned them! The guy at the counter is very polite and pleasant, too. read more

I came to Oregon, a year and a half ago with nothing but a suitcase. I found this little family owned laundromat. Over the past 2 years, it has become my weekly routine to go there. I admit, I annoyed the owner at first with my banging on the machine to get my quarters to go in. He was sweet enough to come over and "teach" me how to finesse the machines...lol. All good since! A few weeks ago i did some laundry here. It was a bout an hour before closing. As I entered I was greeted by the attendant. I immediatly let her know that I only needed to wash because I had a functioning dryer at home. She told me I had plenty of time to wash. My laundry was already sorted so I quickly had 5 machines loaded. 3 or 4 would have probably been enough without overloading, but I like to get my clothes as clean as possible. I added soap to all of the machines then I started loading the coins and starting them. Once I had the final machine going, I looked at the first machine. It was already into its final rince cycle. This seemed impossible since I only loaded coins into 4 other machines and started them. I got them all prepared first then added the coins and started as quickly as possible so their stop times would be as close together as possible. I watched the machines closely and they all had very short wash cycles. Next I took my detergent and dirty clothes bags out to my car not realizing the door would lock behind me as it was past time to begin new loads. I walked around to the side of the building near the desk where the attendant was sitting reading. I knocked on the door, which wasn't more than 10 feet from her. She didn't look up. I knocked a little harder...nothing. there was no music or television playing in the room. She wasn't wearing headphones. Her hearing seemed normal when I first spoke with her. Minutes went by, I continued knocking until it was clear that she was ignoring me. She never looked my direction. I was at no point rude, obnoxious or in any way contentious, or even deadpan or neutral. I had been friendly from the moment I entered. I walked back to the front of the shop, finally. On the right hand side were the only other 2 patrons. I knocked on the front door, they were both farther away from me than she was when I tried to get her attention. One of the guys let me in. At that point one of my machines was down to its last minute. So i loaded up my laundry bags and just before i walked out i said "thank you, good night". She looked up and said "thanks, good night". She was at least 3 times further away than I was when i tried to get her to let me back in. The worst of it was that when i got home, my freshly laundered clothes smelled dirty before and after I put tgem in the dryer. read more

We have used other laundromats and this place is the best! 1) Less expensive. 9 quarters per washer as compared to 11 and 1 quarter gets 7 minutes of drying time versus 6. 2) It's clean! Very clean in fact. 3) The environment is nice. Having the owners on site makes a big difference. No riff raff. No people wandering in off the street. I felt comfortable bringing my laptop so I could work while I waited and I didn't have to keep an eye on it or my purse at all times. (We went to a different laundromat where people came in begging for change, where homeless people were standing outside yelling at anyone who walked by and where a lot of very strange people came in to do laundry. Had to keep my purse on my arm at all times. Not like that here!) 4) Comfortable places to sit and lots of them. We'll definitely be back. read more

Nice clean coin operated laundromat. Helpful staff. Nobody looked to see what I was going to wash before letting me use machines (see earlier comments from a year or 2 ago). Clothing got clean just fine once again. The place is clean, there's plenty of parking and a nice kids play area inside. I needed to have stains removed from a large display tablecloth we use at work. The gentleman at the counter carefully looked at the stain and thoroughly explained all possible options and prices. He also explained the risks and possible damage to the imprinted logo. With his help, I was able to choose the best option, and the tablecloth looked like new when I picked it up a couple days later! read more

Not my favorite place in town, but I would use again if I had to. There's a decent amount of washers, and since it's an actual dry cleaner business there's always staff around for help. It would be easier if there was a cash machine so you don't have to go to the counter every time, and there's not a lot of areas to sit. They do offer plenty of clean large table space for folding, have very good prices, and I felt safe in the establishment. They also have a snack machine and ATM. read more

Recently went back to do laundry here. It had a sign that said temporary hours. It said last wash 330 pm. I arrived at 336 pm.

I have been going to West 11th for several years and the service is always great- here's a recent example: Last week I dropped off some shirts to be cleaned. I gave them to Brad who works there...I came in later and he tells me he found $40 in the pocket of one of my shirts and hands me the $40. I had forgotten it was in my shirt. Honesty!!! I was amazed. Absolutely awesome guy. Joe the owner and the entire staff are the best. Highly, highly recommended. read more

I use pods, so it's impossible to use excessive soap. Still one of my machines showed tons of soap suds during final spin: someone before me obviously put too much in the chute on top. I ask the proprietor if he could let me rinse my clothes; he wants me to pay for a whole new $2.50 cycle, and starts immediately to yell at me that it's not his fault. (He knew I used pods because I had asked him about proper amount before starting.) I ask him if he thinks it's MY fault, and why can't he just let me into the machine to do an extra rinse? He says that would involve excessive expense for him, in electricity and water! This in an aggressive, shouting way, treating me like a criminal or something. Disgusted. The worst offenses in life are not illegal. 1 star only because site won't apparently let me give zero. read more

I've been to several Eugene laundromats and this is by far my favorite. It's got a large number of new washers and dryers, big clean spaces for folding, and I've never had a machine eat any of my quarters. Also, never had to wait for a machine. They also have a dry cleaning service and the employees were very helpful. I brought in a silk shirt with salad dressing on the front--they made sure to ask what the stain was to make sure they could remove it, rather than just taking my money and not being able to deliver results. All in all, it's a pretty clean place where I've always felt safe and comfortable (which hasn't been the case for me in other Eugene laundromats). I enjoy bringing my business there and would recommend West 11th Laundry to my friends. read more

When I pushed start again, it required the total amount in quarters $2.25. After explaining the situation to the attendant she said, "The owner does not allow any refunds." Best laundromat I've ever been to! Very friendly and accommodating service! They even allowed my dog to stay with me inside without any issues! Very clean establishment and he goes above and beyond to make sure everyone feels safe and secure. No squatters inside or around his building and the washers and dryers work great and quick! I got there, found a spot in the crowded parking area clustered next to many other buildings, got my laundry and was greeted at the door by a tall, unkept, man with a pony tail and splotchy facial hair. He told me in a bit of an aggressive sing-songy voice that they stop accepting customers at 6:30. I was holding a small bag of laundry, enough for one wash that would have been done long before their closing time. I saw others in there drying big loads and loading laundry. I left, thinking I was very late and looked at my clock as I was driving away. 6:31. If they want to intentionally give themselves a reputation as rude, arrogant, and happy to dismiss customers then they have done a great job. I will never go here or recommend it. read more

I'd been passing by this laundromat to go to others at a distance, thinking it would not be very good (WRONG!). The Asian owner (I only spoke to the guy) is very friendly & makes a point to make sure everything is working well.... he obviously takes pride in his business. My quarters had gotten stuck (I wasn't putting them in correctly) and he was immediately on it, feeding the machine with his quarters, with no hitch. They keep the place very clean, have good size tables for you to fold your clothes, a sink w/ running water (not typical for most laundromats) and even recycling bins for sorting your debris (which I think is A+) AND a bathroom to use if they are there working. I only wish their hours went at least an hour later (or to 10pm would be great) and that they had wifi or at least w/ more than 1 electrical outlet so you could use your computer while you did laundry. read more

I have a coat that had rather soiled sleeves. I took it to a dry cleaner fully expecting them to do their job. This was not the case for the sleeves were still soiled but not as bad. Years passed before I made yet another attempt of dry cleaning all while wearing that same coat. By now the soil is really ground in, I thought it to be ruined for sure. A friend told me of W 11th Cleaners so I thought I'd give it a try. While I was picking up my coat the first thing I checked were its sleeves and to my pleasant surprise they were finally clean! As I was expressing my and appreciation of his work he told me it took three tries before the coat sleeves were to his satisfaction.
