This review is about this location on 11th. So anyways I went to the one on River Road attempting to get some alterations and get a couple pieces cleaned. The lady informed me they don't have the lady that does the alterations at that location and I would have to go to the location on 11th. Which I was already slightly familiar with because I went in to get some prices on getting 2 pullover windbreakers dry cleaned and they wanted $25 a piece to dry clean 2 pull over windbreakers. Which I did not get done there. But I figured I would give them another chance and eventually made my way to this location on 11th. I dropped off 2 pieces of clothing to be dry cleaned assuming it couldn't be that much but was given a ticket for my items priced at $20. 1 dress shirt, 1 pair of dress pants it cost me $20 to get them dry cleaned. $18.98 to be exact! The alterations I ened up decided against right away because they wanted to charge me $30 just to put patches on a pair of jeans and $15 to put a piece of elastic around a top piece of material not even in the seam or anything just one single strip of elastic stitched on a piece of fabric. AND..... It was going to take 1 month to get them back... So needless to say I will continue to look to fine a better price place with a quicker turnaround.

It was $11 to do a quick wash on washer C60, which seems pricey to me but it was a pretty huge machine. I put 4 quarters in the dryer and that got me 28 min but it was pretty much dry after 15 min. So the dryer seemed like a great deal. No public restroom, which is typical of laundromats, since our country despises people who are poor and struggling, as well as older, incontinent people. If you have time to kill, there are places to check out nearby like Coastal, Club Thrift and Harbor Freight.

Someone yells,"someone will be right with you," yet no one is ever RIGHT with me. They are slow. Making me the customer, feel unimportant. Next, I've never experienced a dry cleaner who has such a hard time keeping my laundry together. They've lost numerous items of mine. It got so bad they had replace a few items. When this happens they acted like it was my fault. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. In reality, I am not seeking them to replace the items, I want MY items back. They just don't seem to understand that. They do a very good job at making you feel like it's your fault and not theirs. And finally, I want to address the fact that when I get my clothes back from this dry cleaner, they stink. I know I'm not the only one to experience this. It got so bad that I had to switch dry cleaners. Obviously, I wasn't aware of all these things until I experience it myself. Overall, a terrible experience. They never have a legitimate manager available. And when you do ask for someone who has a brain on their head, you'll never find one. . I knew that she was very expensive in the past and I went here only because my normal place in Salem was too far. I could not go there for just a couple quick thin sweaters. I normally make one trip there in the summer for everything. When I went in there two weeks ago, she told me that my very thin sweaters not thick sweaters would be around $8.35 a piece. I wrote that down on my receipt when I left so that I knew. I knew she was still expensive for these thin sweaters, but I was willing to pay at this one time. Unfortunately, when there's only one dry cleaners in the area they can do whatever they want. When I went back there this Wednesday, she tried to tell me that my price was $35.85. I was shocked!! I couldn't even believe that that's what I heard and I told her no that's not what you told me and I said look at my receipt. This is what you told me and I looked her in the eye. She continued to argue. She did not want to refund me. She kept arguing with me and then eventually said well I'll give you a $10 credit. How about that? And I said no I don't ever want to come back here again. After I told her I would report this to Visa and that I would dispute it because I knew this was wrong . She then refunded me and voided the sale and charged me the normal price. I have never had anyone try to do this. It is a smooth, gypsy move that I have never experienced. Telling someone, one price then doing a full switch and bait!! I'm imagining she does this to people all the time and catches them off guard. Most people are embarrassed and don't want to say anything. On top of this imagine paying almost $12 for a thin ladies sweater. I have all types of sweaters I have thin, medium and thick. This is about $7.50 in Salem, maybe closer to $8.00 in McMinville. Please do not go here find somewhere else there are other dry cleaners in McMinville and in Salem I drive in order not to be completely ripped off. I can still save money even with the gas. No wonder people can't pay rent, buy food or gas because the people like this.

I couldn't believe when I walked in there was a row ofAdirondack chairs with cushions, foot rest, and desks in case you want to get some work done. The machines do a clean cycle between everyone's wash. First visit your soap with nontoxic fragrance, free detergent and the dryer are free. I haven't been to a laundromat in decades, but I blew it washing a large comforter at the home washing machine. So walked in with a soaking wet, heavy comforter. She led me to the right machine which even had a comforter setting! I wish I'd taken a photo of the folding tables -- so clean! -- and also the "cafe-like" setting kind of upstairs . . .
