This place is amazing! I came in this Monday morning to try the famous Cronuts that I've been hearing so much about. I got half a dozen and also 2 Taro Boba's for me & my coworker. All was going great until opened my wallet and realized that not only did I not have my ID, but I also didn't have my credit card with me since I don't use my big wallet when I go out on weekend nights. I'm pretty sure you could guess how disappointed I was after having already ordered and really wanting to try the cronuts. I told them to not make the smoothies and that'd be back the next day to try the cronuts when I'm actually able to pay for it. So I'm already at my car, about to text my coworker to tell her that I couldn't get the cronuts & boba when the owner comes out to my car & tells me that it's ok, I can have the cronuts AND he was going to make the boba. My disappointment just turned into such an amazing surprise! Not very many places would allow this to happen, he simply just said "I understand, and we aren't greedy." I'm going back when I finally get my card to still pay for my bill, but he seriously made my Monday morning. Thank You for the random act of kindness! And, it was... fantastic! The pastry was crisp, flaky, and lightly sweetened. While, the creme was dense and full-flavored, and delicious. I used to eat at ABC donuts back in the 80's when I was a kid. I used to love the cherry filling jelly donuts that they had. I remember they were nice soft and fresh. Perfect place to get some late night food! The sandwich selection is EXACTLY what I've been looking for late at night. Tons of pretty healthy options (I had a turkey with cheese and avocado on a bagel....was great!). Donut wise, I had to try something...so got a plain donut (I think it is one of the best donuts to judge a place buy). It was great also! Not greasey or anything as many donut places tend to do. I also gave their carrot cake a shot and at the risk of sounding like a broken record....it was great too! Yea, I'm a new fan of this place. Wish I had found it sooner, I'll definitely be going back for late night food (I feel a lot better eating that sandwich than I would about a burrito or a burger / fries...though this cake and donut probably even it out a bit :P). Only downside is their 75 cent charge on credit cards (so I paid with cash instead). No big deal, just annoying. read more

This place is like false advertisement they claim to have donuts online that they do not have in store the donuts that we bought looked good but I actually had no flavor and taste like cardboard the lemon filled doughnut is supposed to be lemon filled but was cut like a sandwich inside the donut Using the lemon as the meat. When I was in search for Cronus near my home on yelp, this place came up. So I took a small drive, because I was really craving something sweet. My inner fatty said GO GET A CRONUT!!!!! So I of course dropped everything I was doing to obey:) It's a small donut place right across the street from Denny's. I got the vanilla custard CRONUT. Even though I wanted one of each, my waistline said, " not today FatAss, you haven't been to the gym in two weeks":( But boy I really enjoyed the vanilla custard. Great classic California yeast donuts. A touch below Randy's in Inglewood but still really good. I had their cronut and the texture was so satisfying! Haven't tried the donuts here, but had two of the bagel sandwiches and they were perfect. One was the standard smoked salmon (w red onions, capers, tomatoes, cream cheese) very well made and proportionate ingredient mix. The other was the breakfast special (egg, lettuce, tomato, avocado, red onion, mayo) and it was also delicious. Very nice people running the shop. read more

You guys need to make something like time limit per customer just because there are few people in the morning just sitting and occupying one 4-person table and another 2 person table, gotta mention that there are only 4 tables in total. They are just sitting right there with no food or drinks while others have to go outside and have their breakfast on the trunk of the car or just stand up and eat there... Ahh, what can I say. One of the best original doughnut spots in town. One of the last few standing shops that hasn't been taken over yet. They use real fresh delicious ingredients and is all hand made with very reasonable prices! A definite must for their delicious breakfast sandwiches! read more

Awesome place for sandwiches,bagels,and donuts. I ordered a lox bagel and carrot juice. The lox bagel was amazing. It was jampacked with filling, so much so that it was oozing out. There was a good amount of smoked salmon in the bagel. The carrot juice was delicious and healthy as well. 100% carrots, no added sugars or anything. The people who work there are so friendly and they really do try their best to get your order just right. Amazing food and great service! read more

Donuts are good and the have fresh natural juices. Last time I got an egg & cheese sandwich which I thought was a bit pricy for sliced bread sandwich. There's a .75 fee to use a debit card when you spend $5+. I say just bring cash. read more

I love this place not just for their fresh donuts but for the fresh juices and the #8 breakfast sandwich!!! It's so delicious and the produce is always so crisp and fresh in my sandwich. I know they have specialty donuts but just paid a ridiculous amount for not even a dozen of the specialty . The cronuts for a dozen is $29.50 . I paid $28.50 for not even a whole dozen I feel jipped and over charged . I would of been better of driving to Tony's Donuts in Huntington Park !! Bigger donuts better tasting . This is probably my favorite donut shop. Their sandwiches and breakfast bagels and croissants are great. And I love the donuts. I do wish they were open late in the evening, but when I have really late nights it's great to drop by and grab a bite and a doughnut and say hi to Howard. He's a cool guy. Buttermilk glaze donut is the best for sure, but not always ready by 1am.. (they open at like 1 AM) I usually arrive closer to 2 so I won't miss out. read more

After having lunch at Lupita's I stopped over to check out their Cronuts. It looked interesting so I bought one. I made the mistake of not asking how much it was. It came out to $3 for a donut! I guess I haven't bought a donut in a while but I thought it was a little high. My wife thought it was a rip. Well, how did it taste? Tasted like a donut with tapioca filling. It wasn't too exciting.
