I came to this strip mall to pick up some tamales from Lupita's and noticed this place, so I decided to get some donuts too. The case was filled with standard, fruit filled, & fancy donuts. They also have croissants, bagels, cookies, & pastries. The man behind the counter was very friendly. I ordered an apple fritter (my fav.), bear claw, and a cinnamon bun. All three were large and fresh. The apple fritter was delicious. Crispy on the outside with the right amount of glaze and chunks of apple inside. It was better than Randy's. They have some really good flavors here but for me it's all about the cronuts! When the craze hit (what like 8 years ago?) I tried everyplace in LA and these take the cake. The traditional glazed is super good, as is the cinnamon. The fruit filled ones are incredible too. Peach or Strawberry on a glazed cronut it hard to beat. read more

This place is amazing! I came in this Monday morning to try the famous Cronuts that I've been hearing so much about. I got half a dozen and also 2 Taro Boba's for me & my coworker. All was going great until opened my wallet and realized that not only did I not have my ID, but I also didn't have my credit card with me since I don't use my big wallet when I go out on weekend nights. I'm pretty sure you could guess how disappointed I was after having already ordered and really wanting to try the cronuts. I told them to not make the smoothies and that'd be back the next day to try the cronuts when I'm actually able to pay for it. So I'm already at my car, about to text my coworker to tell her that I couldn't get the cronuts & boba when the owner comes out to my car & tells me that it's ok, I can have the cronuts AND he was going to make the boba. My disappointment just turned into such an amazing surprise! Not very many places would allow this to happen, he simply just said "I understand, and we aren't greedy." I'm going back when I finally get my card to still pay for my bill, but he seriously made my Monday morning. Thank You for the random act of kindness!
