Last year when I was visiting Florida, my brother introduced me to a mixer that apparently you can't buy up north. So the fact that I barely ever drink and remembered that mixer now that I was back south for a minute was reason enough for me to track down a liquor store. 2 huge older women employees shouting at me and my wife on New Year's Eve while waiting in line and making fun of us as "idiots who are clueless" since we didn't see the last cashier was available way down the line right away. They yelled so loud my ear drums hurt and acting out our personalities by looking at the ceiling and to make a show to their peers...Never been talked to this way in my lif.......Will never accept anyone let alone when I am a paying customer standing quietly in line with my wife, to be talked to that way. This is Naples. Get a clue about who you are, you're working, keep quiet, ring us up, smile and earn the right to serve your community. Lose the entitlement and anger, you're not who you think you are. So disgusted and appalled that we could not even drink any of these alcoholic beverages on New Year's Eve or New Year's Day we will not be back and we're big spenders and alcoholics. read more

I have been coming to this store for years but something has changed recently. The employees have become very rude and judgemental. Yesterday I walked in the store and 2 young black men walked in after me. The woman behind the counter said in a loud and not polite voice, "Do both of you have ID?!" One said yes and the other said no that he was just there with his friend. The employee made that young man leave the store for not having ID. I spoke to both of them and they deliver for Instacart!! American, well spoken, polite...I don't think I've ever seen in person such a blatant example of profiling. It was shocking and upsetting. Then, several weeks ago I was in the store and an employee was so rude to me at the counter I actually left without buying anything. Maybe she was in a bad mood but it was completely uncalled for. Larger older building with one of the largest selections for your party needs. It looks the check out area is very dated read 1970's like Taxi meets Sanford and sons and All in the family. Please! reinvest some of your profit back into this brontosaurus storus as other modern stores like Totally wine and more are going to cut into your marketplace like a thief in the night! The clerk Jean Claude wasn't very interactive but the floor clerk was social. I don't really mind. The line moves quicker that way. The walk in humidor is well stocked with the popular brands but No Ramon Allones to be found here? Don't ask me I'm just a customer. I found what I was looking for Eureka... Bakon in fussed vodka. 27.99 they have a pretty large clearance section but I was on a mission and stayed focused. Every month many of the selections go on sale. It's just a sales technique.. new colored sale tags and the same discounts usually. Poor customer service. The promotion advertised on wine was not reflected in the price charged at the register. I asked about it prior to paying with a credit card and was told that the discount would be taken off when the transaction was finalized, which was not accurate. The manager, Steve, was dismissive and asked me to show him the sign on the display. When I did, which validated what I had previously told him, he challenged an employee that was working in the wine department and then reluctantly agreed to refund the difference. The process added at least 10 minutes to my visit. I recommend shopping elsewhere. Total Wine & More is a far superior experience with great employees unlike this establishment. read more

I've been to ABC's all across the south. This one is very nice, clean & conveniently located with plenty of parking. Small, but very diverse beer/ale choices (the case is only 1/2 wall... lots of stores have an entire wall of beer)... some brands I've never seen before. Their specialty, as in most stores, is liquor & wine. Lots of options in addition to the cigar booth up front. Generally nice staff. Some small choices in antipasto type foods, fresh, canned & bottled. All of it's pricier than most of the ABC's I've been to, but this is Naples, after all. Not bad. Better choices in IPA than the local markets (if that's your thing... it is my choice), although Naples does have pretty decent selections of alcohol, overall, in most stores. Solid thumbs up for that, town of Naples. Solid 4* out of 5. -1* only for prices. read more

Staff was so rude. We came is with 6 people(keep in mind it's my family and we all rode in the same vehicle) man at the register said "I cannot believe this shit their not social distancing." When I got to the register I told him he was being ridiculous because we all came together. He proceeded to say "the young people don't care about the pandemic". I go there about once a week and EVERYTIME, I have yet to meet a happy person at the register EVER....besides the register help, no other person has yet to acknowledge the fact that some people don't know where everything is there and ask if need any help... last week a gal was on her personal phone during our entire transaction at the registe.... I even helped her out by facing the bottles UPC codes towards her so she could with her one hand, scan the prices!!!! (Remember, she was holding her personal personal phone in the other hand). I had a box full of liquor and I was grabbing it to go, and she was busy on her phone to even check if I needed help with that to my car.. We've been going to this store for 25 years with no problems at all, and had good luck using the online ordering and curbside pick-up all through the quarantine, but this year the app has just fallen apart. Lost orders, lost payments, complete uninterest in customer service ( they referred me to the home office in Orlando, which I called five times and which calls were not returned ) and a snotty, patronizing not-my-job-man attitude towards my problems. This is a good brick-and-mortar store, but whatever you do, don't use the app. read more

Much nicer and deceptively bigger on the inside than the outside, which appears a bit dated and worn out. Nice selection at a competitive price for the area. I made my way directly to the bourbon section and was pleasantly surprised at the selection of Buffalo Trace (W.L Weller is almost impossible to find around Naples so I was finally able to grab it here) I left with double the amount of alcohol I intended to purchase. There's a great variety of beers and wine here as well. Helpful staff and not as cluttered with retirees as Total Wine in season. read more

Vacationing in Naples for New Year's and needed some beer. Stopped in at ABC since it's close to where we were staying. Nice beer selection. I can't get Kalik at home in Kansas City, so I grabbed a six-pack. I also noticed they carry Boulevard . . . KC's craft brewery . . . so I grabbed a four-pack of Tank 7 . . . "Bully's" signature farmhouse ale. Now I had what I can't get back home along with a little taste of home. Looking around the store I saw amply stocked shelves. Very nice staff, good craft beer selection. Terrapin, Argus, Swamp Ape, six different Cigar City varieties. Plus, everything is available as singles for a mix 6, although at premium pricing. Guy at the counter pointed out that I would get 15% off with their frequency card, so just scanned it and handed me the form to fill out later. As 6-packs, everything seemed very reasonable to me: generally $8. They had quite a selection of warm bombers from some good breweries as well. Good selection and good prices. But my experience there is never friendly. Today I went to pay, and the chip reader would not randy card. The cashier said I had to pay a different way. I asked if I could just swipe the card, and was told no, that is our policy. The manager cane over and I asked her why I couldn't just swipe my card. She said it's their policy. I said that's really stupid, and she told me not to shoot the messenger. So I guess the manager is nothing but an a cashier as well, with a bad attitude. Update - went back again. Bought some items on sale. When I checked out, I noticed that I did not get the same price. They didn't tell me that, just rung it up with the regular price. When asked I was told that their new policy as of that day was that the sakes prices are only for customers having their loyalty card. Didn't say that on the sales prices. What a dishonest, ripoff place this is. And as in my prior review above, the cashier said that it was not their policy, just what management tells them they have to do. Changing to 1 star. read more

This place made our night several times! We drove by this place every day from the jobsite on our way back to the hotel. Great selection of beers and a bourbon selection to rival most stores. Couple in front of me in the checkout line bought a fifth of (I think) Smirnoff and a bottle of club soda, Man behind the register told them it came with a free Ocean Spray juice selection. Thought that was pretty nifty marketing. Will definitely repeat if I am in the area. read more

I just went in to an ABC liquor store in Naples. They wanted $20.90 if I read the label correctly for a case of Miller Light. I turned around went out the door and up the street and bought the same case for $17.99. That is somewhere between 10% and 15% difference That was the last time I will go into ABC. read more
