We were on a day trip to Naples on a Sunday and came here for breakfast. The place was big, lot of options, great coffee and bakery items for breakfast and a store that included a variety of wine. We had a croissant and a mixed berry pastry along with coffee. The pastry wasn't too sweet and seemed fresh. The place had Italian feel with the fountain and structures. There is an adjacent sit down restaurant but we didn't stay for dinner. Service was quick and the staff was nice. Street parking wasn't difficult but we went early in the morning. If I lived here, this would be my go-to place! The dessert is excellent. We had the key lime pie. I wish I had the appetite to try even more because they looked great. The coffee is delicious. Perfect blend of coffee taste and other flavors. Beautiful outdoor seating available. Chill vibes, romantic and perfect for a couple looking for a quiet spot to relax. My wife and I stopped at Tony's bakery for a couple of deserts to bring home, my wife chose the cheese cake and I chose the carrot cake. The cheese cake was just ok, dry and nothing to write home about. The carrot cake on the other hand was terrible! It looked good in the refrigerated display cabinet but, when we got home to eat it I found it was dried out, stale, tasteless and could not be eaten, it went into the garbage. Maybe they need a new baker? We eat in the restaurant often where I have their carrot cake many times for desert, delicious! I won't be going in the bakery again. read more

Not a lot to say as we didn't get much, but they've got a decent display of treats, i think there could've been more but the ones most appealing to me were the red velvet cupcake and cranberry orange muffin. The cupcake was delicious with a moist crumb and tangy cream cheese frosting, and while the muffin wasn't dry, it did need a lot more cranberries and orange (and maybe white chocolate chips), the prices were good and it's a nice spot. read more

Tony's Off Third is a family owned boutique wine, coffee, bakery and pastry shop that has been operating in Naples since 1995. They have a wine selection of over 1,000 bottles. The business is co-owned by Tony Ridgway's who oversees the baking and pastry, and Sukie Honeycutt eho curates the wine. I was trying to visit the Naples Pier and was not able to park anywhere near it. I found myself in front of Tony's off Third. I noticed they were offering a special takeout menu and i watched a steady stream of customers entering and leaving with takeout bags. Since it was dinner time it seemed like fate. All food was served already prepared in microwaveable containers. They had a selection of soups, salads, sides, and dinner. I ordered the mozzarella and tomato salad ($12.50), the two 5 oz crab cakes with remoulade ($12) and a snowball pastry ($5). As everything had already been prepared it was grab and go. The mozzarella and tomato salad was ridiculous. The tomatoes were unappetizing and mealy. For over $12 you got three slices and two slices of cheese and dressing. It was a total waste of money. The crab cakes on the other hand were good. I heated them in a copper chef crisper to toast the outside instead of the suggested microwave preparation. Lemon and the remoulade sauce were included which was a nice touch. The cakes didn't have too much filler and were very flavorful. The snowball pastry looked amazing but had too much icing to cake ratio. The actual amount of cake you got was so small compared to the mound of icing on top. There was custard in the center too. I think a lot of the appeal of eating here is the ambiance of being able to sit outside a block from the beach while sipping a glass of wine or a cup of coffee while enjoying the live music during season. Obviously they have no control over how the state is forcing them to operate and they are trying to make the best of it. They do however need to make the food quality match what they are charging. read more

For the past five years now, I call about three weeks before my son's birthday asking for a specialty cake. Now the prices are absolutely ridiculous ( milking everything out of the tourists of course) and the past 2 times we've gone to get dessert it's been locked and closed. At 5:30pm and 7:45 pm? We trekked down to third street for a healthy start before an early morning beach run. Tony's is clearly a favorite for runners, bikers, and the athletically inclined - Tony's was clacking with clip in shoes, helmet hair, and plenty of running attire, even at 7:30am! We ordered too much food (oops!) but each got coffee, and split a spinach quiche and a carrot bran muffin. The quiche and muffin were absolutely delicious - the coffee was really yummy too! It rained unexpectedly while we were here, but thankfully there was plenty of cover to take respite under until the sun came back. A great spot to grab a quick bite, a bottle of wine (the wine bar selection AMAZING), or a snack. Customer service was also a huge plus, they were super friendly! A lovely little café right on Third. Whether you are looking for wine, a latte, tea or soft drink, this is the place for you. But whatever you do, don't leave without trying some of the bakery items. Delicious goodies with plenty of variety. You can bring your puppy and sit outside while you people or puppy watch. Plenty of shade is available too. This place looks like a very cute little shop to get a morning coffee and pastry, but the food quality falls short. I've tried several muffins from here. The banana walnut is very good, would recommend. The others can be very dry, especially the chocolate chip. Their coffee is also inconsistent. I always get a latte. One day it's a very standard latte, not bad but no complaints. The other day, I got such a weak latte you can barely taste the coffee. I went inside to ask them to remake it and they charged me for an extra espresso shot. Did not remake it. Even starbucks remakes your drinks if they are not good! They also are very insistent on asking for tips. They have multiple jars and the screen when you pay prompts you for an 18-25 percent tip. I would be happy to tip if the service was better! Go to bad ass coffee across the street and enjoy some excellent coffee. read more

The star here is the new pastry chef- lady at the counter said "we were good before, but she's really put us over the top.". I must agree. A very appetizing array of scones, muffins, cookies, etc. Just beautiful. Coffee not so stellar, but I'm not sure if there's any better around. On a nice day it's hard to beat the veranda seating- beautiful flowers, a fountain, terrazzo tile, palm trees, everything a body wants in a Naples resting spot. There is no indoor seating that I saw, so don't plan to hide away here on rainy days. The wine selection looked copious and well thought out - but not what I would love it if they served their delicious pastries on ceramic plates, plastic doesn't do them justice. read more
