2 nights ago I went to ABC - Shout out to the employees-the blonde female stocking near the vodka section and Rey! Went in for some tequila and found my way into the vodka aisle first where I asked a blonde female employee stocking about what to do with this particular flavored vodka. She gave me some awesome tips (sorry I didnt see her name tag) Then after I'm in the tequila aisle I had a nice convo with Rey who upsold me Elderflower liquer to go with my tequila. I LOVE this combination and wished I had met Rey sooner. I just moved here, I'm in medical sales and my massage envy is right next door...I think I've found some new friends at ABC! read more

Overall, this was an outstanding experience. Starting off with a complementary tasting of new whiskey line that was simply delicious. More important, service was really attentive and knowledgeable. It is always so great to find a wine shop where the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. My daughter-in-law and I were shopping for some beverages with authority for Father's Day, however I needed my private stash so I asked one of the associates for Carménère, a lovely Chilean red wine but he was unfamiliar with that wine so he summoned his colleague who was quite knowledgeable showed me two carmeneres and after some strong adjectives, I was convinced to buy the Casas Del Bosque an extraordinary wine. Horrible, I went in to buy some beers for my uncles that were in town for Father's Day, I am over the age of 21, I went in with my sister in law who is under the age of 21, fine whatever, I get up to the register and I'm getting ready to pay, I present my ID and then she asks for my sister in law, my sister in law was in town to visit my brother and I was on my way to drop her off at the airport after picking up the alcohol, which I told the cashier, I understand the skeptic you know with the reputation that has been painted for young adults but I had no intentions of even drinking myself, the minor wasn't paying WHICH in Florida law says nothing about prohibiting someone from buying alcohol if they are accompanied by someone under the age of 21, I was the one paying she was just there because she had no other option, I wasn't gonna leave her in the car with the insane Florida heat, and I don't like leaving my car on especially when the keys aren't inside the car itself, I was asked if I wanted to speak to the manager and I said yes and the woman who attended me NEVER got her manager, I understand where she was coming from but she never had to be rude towards me or my sister in law, it was embarrassing the way she treated us even when i tried to explain to her that I myself wasn't even drinking simply being the one that was chosen to pick up the beers, try being nicer to your customers especially more than willing to buy $200 worth items, glad I took my business elsewhere don't wanna come back here. read more

I'm a long time customer of this location-since the opening over a decade ago. It is my local goto spot for all and any of my booze needs! Great selection of American & international wines. Great variety of just about anything. I've been able to special order certain hard to find liquor items. I was invited to be a vault member after many years of loyalty! The team here at this location is always spot on! I will admit that I've had 1-2 unpleasant experiences but this out of 10 years of being a client. My most recent unpleasant experience was when I went to collect my vault order that arrived. Not sure if the young lady was having a bad day but she was not very welcoming and came across extremely rude. Apart from this, I will still continue to be a customer of this location due to all my other positive experiences over the years. The store access may be tough to get there if you come from south of Bruce B Down. One good thing they have parking lot is big enough. Especially during Coronavirus period. This store is busy. Parking is full of customers to visit this store. The wine and beer may not the cheapest in town. But it has the special may be worth a visit. I got two bottle of Pinot Noir from Russian River Valley region. I also got the special deal of the beer - Goose Island IPA. The check out line is long. But everyone keep a distance. When get close to the payment teller, it is set to minimum six feet apart. read more

ABC Liqour Store Manager named Leah and co-worker Mac refused to sell me liquor today and I had my Florida ID and they still refused it! They said because my boyfriend was with me who also is over 21 didn't have his wallet with him that they could not sell me alcohol! Under the FL law there is nothing that states you cannot purchase alcohol with someone who does not have their ID when the person buying it does! They were extremely rude and I can't believe they are working in customer service! read more

I love this location! It's open 7 days per week. I can often find the same liquors, wines, & beer for a little less elsewhere, but the service and variety of brands overshadow the difference. ABC also has a price matching program. It will match prices on beer, liquor, & wines found less expensive elsewhere within a 10-mile radius. (Online sales are excluded.) See the details on its web page. This is a clean, well-organized, & well-stocked VERY large ABC-- see pics. If you can't locate what you want here, it's unlikely you'll find it anywhere else. I have always been approached by attentive staff at least twice on each visit. Each individual has known exactly where specific products are located. There's a cold beverage section, a humidifier room displaying a large variety of cigars, a snack foods section, a liquor accessories area, and displays of gift bags, bows, & cards. Definitely sign up for the ABC Access Rewards program if you wish to save money. All it takes is a driver's license & a minute's time. There is curbside service offered-- order online then pick up in front. On certain days, there is wine sampling. The workers are dressed in all black behind a counter w/ multiple wines, etc. for customers to try. (However, this promotion is temporary suspended due to Covid fears.) This business is easy off & back on Bruce B. Downs beside a McDonald's & across from a Shell Station & Publix. Plenty of parking is available in the front. I always enjoy my stroll through this particular ABC. The many gift sets offered around the holidays are especially interesting. read more

Preordered online. Went to pick up...the line for online orders is right by the entrance. I walk in. Stand there while other customer finishes their transaction and cashier completely ignores me and calls "next in line". Literally just has to hand me my order, but chooses to ignore me. When the next customer leaves I make sure to ask if I am following the correct process, as this is the only line to pick up online orders. He says yes, I'm doing it right..but "he had to be fair since he already had called next in line". Nope..he completely ignored me and made a mistake. Instead of apologizing, he makes up a stupid excuse. This place needs a better system or better training. read more

DO NOT GO HERE !!!! I was here the other day, in parking lot, accidentally dropped a cup out of my car. Manager or distribution guy comes up to confront me, calls me a lying sack of s**t f*****g moron etc. I then tell him to relax as the plastic cup will be picked up, to which no avail he comes right near my car to verbally threaten me saying "I'll knock you out in one punch if you don't pick that cup up" while pushing his way into my window. I pick the cup up, he then proceeds to tell me "the cops are on their way" and then to which I say what is the need for that... he then goes around to the back of my car as to take pictures of my license plate, at which I started the car and immediately left. I called police to see what they could do and to no surprise they couldn't. IF I WERE YOU I WOULD AVOID THIS MAN AT ALL COSTS. He should be reprimanded for those actions. read more

ABC is the absolute worst liquor store/chain in Florida. They hide the decent bottles behind the counter, then act like you are annoying them when you ask about them. Want a hard to find bottle of bourbon? Gotta spend $1,000 for a one time chance to get in their "vault". Don't waste your time or money here. They don't care about you. read more

Nice big clean place to go for most of your liquor needs or wants. Great selection of many of the top brands and the not so big brands. They have gift sets when in need of such, priced right. Staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. Always there ready to answer any questions but not so much as they are under your feet. Prices are at or near other better priced stores in the area. One of my go tos for the harder to find bottles. They have a few open bottles for you to try before buy which is nice when in doubt. Worth a stop. read more

The service there was horrible. I was visiting Tampa with family. I walked into the store with my little sister to purchase alcohol and was told from cashier marie and shawn that I couldnt purchase alcohol because my little sister is in the store and she isn't of age. I explained that Im.not from the area and i didnt want to leave her outside at 7:30 at night. However, they refused to sell it to me. Minutes later I walked in for my self and they still didnt want to sell me the liquor at the age of 28. Eventually they did after rolling their eyes..If I wasnt on vacation I would have NEVER walked back into that store!!! read more

My go-to liquor store in Wesley Chapel! Why? Excellent selection, well stocked, great prices and a super friendly staff. This is a larger ABC but it is rarely ever crowded. The beer selection is fantastic and they have plenty of good craft beer on the shelves. There is a growler fill station in the back of the store that carries pretty good beers. The staff here is extremely friendly and helpful. I always make sure to take the survey on the bottom of my receipt online after my visits because I think this store deserves recognition for a job well done every time. read more

Been coming to this store for a while and likely will no longer be spending my money here. Some cashier asked my brother and I for our Identification (as they should) and because my brother had a state ID and not a Drivers license, the cashier acted suspicious. He then proceeded to bend it almost in half and talk about how it doesn't look right or something is off, which there wasn't, and then walk to the back to "speak to a manager". So now I'm embarrassed and standing in front of the rest of the customers waiting to check out as this wannabe cop pretends to point out flaws in a 9 year old ID like he's been in the industry for 20 years. He returns without his manager and tells me that there were too many questions to allow them to sell to me, even after the ID was swiped and checked out perfectly fine. I'll add that he wasn't purchasing anything, but was there to accompany me. The young cashier said that the policy is they cannot sell to anyone if they are accompanied by someone that isn't 21, but a father bought alcohol with his son right before I did. Either way, this store has poor practices in customer service and has no problem embarrassing me with an insane judgement call by someone with very little or any training. ABC has a fantastic selection of wine, craft beer and spirits. I always go here when I want to try new beers because you can make your own six pack and choose the different beers you want. They have both beer that are cold to drink sooner than later and they have it just on the shelf which is the best place to find new and awesome beer selection. They have a growler fill station as well. I also like the way they organize their wine selection, by varietal as well as by country. The people who work here are so friendly and especially helpful. Any time I have a question or am looking for something specific they are always available to answer my questions or give excellent recommendations. They are located right off Bruce B Downs and highway 56 so it's pretty easy to get to the store. They also have wine tasting events for as low as $5 that are advertised on their website or Facebook. ABC is my go to in the Wesley Chapel/New Tampa area for wine and beer. Prices are very reasonable and they have a rewards club where the more you spend, the more you earn in discounts. read more

Came here for the first time since I was picking up some drinks for a get together. It is very nice and clean here. It's nice to see that they have two tables where you can try various liquors and wines before u buy them. I'm not a big drinker so at first place can look exciting and overwhelming at the same time. I picked up some white Russian which the price wasn't bad and I paid and I was done. Nice and quick efficient and clean. That sounds so much better than going to the public dealing w getting in and nd out and waiting in lines. Glad I know that is how it is and that there are a lot of selction. Ordered growlers online. Ordered 4. Spoke to Ian. He said they only had two to give me. I asked when the next truck would be in. He told me Thursday. So I waited until Thursday (didn't want to drive twice up there)to see if they had two more on their truck to fill my order since I purchased 4 Online. Called Thursday. They didn't get any more in. Went to pick up the two I purchased online on Friday and they sold them. They refunded the money however you'd think if this was their policy he'd say something to be while he spoke to me earlier in the week. read more

Very clean store in a great location in Wesley Chapel. Employees are friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to show you around or recommend their favorites. The store is fairly large and carries almost everything you can think of. The only thing I've had a hard time finding is a specific brand of sangria, but then I decided to use ingredients to make my own sangria, which I got from there and voila I have delicious sangria! One of my favorite things about this store is that they do wine tastings for $10 per person on Thursday nights. I've only seen a couple advertised on their facebook page, but friends of mine say they are every few months. This wine tasting is much more than your typical wine tasting. They have 8 or 9 stations set up in the store with 3-4 liquors per table. Beer, wine, spirits, and mixed drinks, and they even throw in small servings of food by a local caterer advertising their services. This was a much needed addition to this area of Wesley Chapel. :) read more

Just walked in to this store to purchase 2-4 packs of "High Noon" Sun sips out of the cooler in the back left side of the store in a cooler marked "Mixers" for the listed price of $9.99. If you purchase two four packs of High Noon it was clearly marked that you would get a discount of $3.00. On another shelf, it was marked $10.99 with the same buy 2-4 packs get $3.00 off. Upon arriving at the counter to pay, the individual advised me that the price was $9.49 each with no discount of $3.00 off when purchasing 2. I told him that this was an incorrect price. He then walked to the back to check. When he returned he told me that I was wrong. I walked back there to show him and when we found what I was talking about, he began to pull all of the tags off of the shelf where I found the error the store made when pricing the High Noon product. This is false advertising, and obviously a mistake. He was not only rude, but argued with me about how the advertised price without the additional $3.00 off for purchasing 2-4 packs would not matter as the discounted price would already be cheaper. This made zero sense. I asked to speak to a manager, and he advised me that he was the manager. I decided to take my business elsewhere. I will not be returning to this store, and I will be sure to tell my friends and family the same. All of this over the store's mistake, and the "manager's" lack of good customer service, and deceitful business practices. read more

Not the largest craft beer selection but they do get a pretty good selection. You can find most of your American craft beer heavy hitters on the shelves like Dogfish head, Stone, Cigar City, Weyerbacher, The Bruery, Terrapin and many others. If you go periodically you can find some hard to find beers sitting right out for the taking such as a relatively recent find of some Dogfish Head 120. They also get a pretty good stock of Cigar City's seasonal releases. This is a welcome addition too the Wesley Chapel area for craft beer! read more

Attended Wine Tasting event for French wines and what a mess it was. Very little in the way of information on French wines provided; food items put out with no plastic tongs for serving oneself - so of course everyone is sticking their hands into the food - unsanitary. Space for tasting not adequate for the number of people that attended. Would not recommend attending this type of event at this store. Overall liquor selection in the store is very good, and personnel is courteous and friendly - just wish they organized things a bit better read more

8 taps of draft with a crowler station but no cans for it ‍. Don't always have growlers handy in my car or sometimes you want to bring crowlers somewhere instead so you can just toss em. The staff here is really helpful and knowledgeable. I've had 100% success with suggestions on gifts (cigars, wine an whisky for friends). Also, if I'm asking about what I like (craft beer) the "beer guy" knows what they do and don't have by memory. No one there has ever made me feel stupid for asking a question. Instead they aim to educate their customers and make sure everyone is being taken care of. I haven't gotten to attend any events/tastings but they seem to come up pretty often and are always cheap! read more

Very good selection of craft beers. I have never perused the other alcohols, so I can only speak from a beer standpoint. I appreciate that they bring in beers from all over the place, and that they keep something cold. However, it is not the cheapest place in town. It is cheap enough, but you could find better deals elsewhere. I will say, the rewards program is not worth it. It takes Way too much money and purchases to even get any points worth anything. I wish they would rehash it, especially if they could do it with a focus on wine, liquor, beer. With different bonuses going to different areas. read more

I visited this location on Christmas Eve (Last minute purchase, of course)! The place was packed! I had to park by the bank next to them. I must say I was expecting to be inside the place for a looooonggg time!! To my surprise.. they had a few registers going on and their easy to find labels made it easy for me to find the Don Q Rum I was looking for! The price was good too!! Great Job ABC!
