Love Coopers Hawk! There is indoor and outdoor seating. It is best for you to make a reservation. The staff are always great just like the food! The indoor seating is loud but the outdoor seating is airy and you can hear each other better. To start the over the border egg rolls are soo good! Came here again 2 years later but this time for a lunch. Made a reservation a day before. Place as always looks gorgeous inside and outside, plenty of parking during lunch time. Service was acceptable though, not great. Lady kept forgetting things for us. My friend wanted so coffee with non dairy milk and waitress didn't even know if they offer it, she had to go ask and said they do not. When we asked for tiramisu , she said we are likely out because we were out yesterday. But then she went to check and they indeed had it. How come she doesn't know what is on a menu. I had a grouper sandwich that was pretty good and side salad was pretty good. I asked for olive oil and vinegar and waitress again said she doesn't know if that possible. Which is the weirdest response. I didn't ask for anything unique. She then said they will do it and proceeded to bring me something different. The restroom was particularly concerning, it was disgusting, with urine all over the floor. That level of cleanliness is unacceptable for any restaurant. Overall, the atmosphere felt more like a crowded cafeteria than a restaurant. I expected a much cleaner, more comfortable, and better-maintained environment. The food was average. Extremely disappointing food and service experience on our anniversary dinner at Coopers Hawk in Wesley Chapel. My wife and I were looking forward to our 1st dining experience at Coopers Hawk for our 31st anniversary. Unfortunately both the food and service were extremely disappointing. My wife ordered the filet mignon: 8 oz. Filet, Steak Butter, Crispy Onion Strings, Grilled Broccoli, Choice of Side 46.99 and I ordered Ellie's chicken piccata Lemon Butter Caper Sauce, Capellini Pasta 26.99 We both ordered glasses of wine with the meal - my wife ordered a red wine and I ordered the white wine they recommended to pair with the chicken piccata Neither wine came before our meal. When our meal was brought, there was still no wine yet. The server who brought our meals to the table asked if there was anything else we needed and I said-yes-the wine we ordered to come with our meal. 15 minutes later after after meals were brought--still no wine This is unacceptable at any restaurant-but for an establishment such as Coopers Hawk that centers everything around their wines this is ridiculous. When the wine was finally brought over 15 minutes later after our meals were brought they actually still forgot to bring my wife her wine and only brought mine. I told the server that it was too late and we did not need it anymore. The server clearly saw when she brought the wine that we were well finished with our meals already but did not offer any apology up-front and only after I said that "its too late" did she offer to take the wine off the bill. She did offer that she could still bring my wife's wine out and still take it off the bill and also offered to let me keep my wine and also take it off the bill but the damage had already been done at that point as it was over 15 minutes since we received our meals Now onto the food itself-very disappointing. Although my wife's steak was cooked perfectly as far as the inside of the steak-the steak itself had little to no seasoning and had no char on the outside. Outside of those 2 things - the quality of the meat itself was also disappointing. To give you an idea - the quality of the filet itself was less than the filet you would get at a Longhorn's steak restaurant which charges about 29.00 compared to $46.99 here - so you would expect at the very least it would at least be equal (or should be better) quality beef than Longhorns but unfortunately it was worse. The Chicken Picatta on the menu clearly says "Lemon Butter Caper Sauce" there were plenty of capers on the plate but outside of 2 lemons wedges on the plate for show there was absolutely no lemon flavor whatsoever in the dish. The chicken was cooked very well and was juicy but there was virtually no seasoning on the chicken at all and there was zero (0) lemon flavor. So again extremely disappointing. The restaurant is upscale and very nice looking and has a vibrant social atmosphere but when the service is bad, the wine doesn't come with the meal (and that is the theme of the restaurant-the wine), and the food is this disappointing it all adds up to a very bad experience which unfortunately also occurred on our special occasion-our wedding anniversary read more

Came here with my parents to celebrate my mom's birthday. They love Cooper's Hawk in Maryland and requested to come to this location during their visit. I was able to make snd modify my reservation on OpenTable. Very easy! Parking was plentiful in the private lot they offer. We checked in and were seated moments later. Our waitress was great! She was knowledgeable of the menu and of the wine. I ordered the Shrimp and Scallop Risotto. It we cooked and seasoned to perfection! Big pieces of shrimp and scallops throughout my dish. The food options on Happy Hour menu were very good, particularly the Quesadilla and Prime Rib sliders. My wife loved the arancini balls as well and shrimp tempura was solid. From a drinks perspective my wife tried the sangria flight and it was a great option with 4 different types of sangria with more hits than misses. Friday afternoons at Cooper's Hawk could be my new go to activity on a Friday. Easily one of my favorite chain restaurants along with Yard House. This was my first time to the Wesley Chapel location and it's super similar to other Cooper's Hawks. Whenever I come, I always get the $17.99 brussels sprouts without even looking at the menu. And for my entre I now always get the $22.99 The Prime. I always get asked if I'm in the wine club, but I've never joined since I don't really like wine. There are TV's at the bar to watch sports. I usually go to the Tampa location, but I happened to be in Wesley Chapel and decided to stop by. In my opinion, the Wesley Chapel location is even better because it feels much more spacious and welcoming. I ordered the steak medium and it was perfectly cooked. It tasted great. My mom ordered the risotto and she really enjoyed it as well. The service was friendly. I also did a wine tasting with Vanessa, and she was the best. This one always has an odd smell...almost like a dirty rag is used to clean the tables..? But aside from the smell, I have no complaints about this location. I usually order their chicken piccata (amazing); however, my most recent time there, I ordered their Sweet Corn and Tomato Risotto. First time going to Cooper's Hawk. We went on Saturday for Brunch. My husband made a reservation for 12:30pm and we did the wine tasting before hand. We were told the wine tasting would take about an hr or more so we arrived at 11:00am. It was very busy. However, it didn't have a "rush" feeling. We didn't have to wait long going through each wine pour. The wine was great. We aren't even into drinking wine like that. It was a fun experience. When we were done with our tasting, we got seated right away. Our server was extremely kind. The food was beautiful and delicious. It is a nice establishment. I was surprised how casual people were dressed. You don't have to dress fancy but the place isn't Denny's. We plan on going again. It was a great experience. We are wine club members and enjoy our monthly visits here. They definitely stay busy. Sometimes you have to have patience if you want to do a wine tasting, and be cautious because not many patrons are courteous enough to care who has been waiting the longest for a spot at the tasting counter. The addition of weekend brunch has been great. And the monthly specials are pretty fun too. Each meal comes with warm pretzel bread that is crave worthy. I visited this location for the first time last night and my friend and I had a very positive experience. Personally, I feel like this location's wine tasting area is much more comfortable than the South Tampa location. There are more spots at the counter for tastings and the waiting area is not nearly as crowded as the south Tampa one. Unfortunately, we did not take a single picture (too busy catching up) but we enjoyed the Lux tasting for $17 and were satisfied by the appetizers and entrees we ordered at the table. The Drunken Shrimp appetizer was delicious and the House-Made Meatballs were yummy. As always, we delighted in the pretzel bread but made sure not to fill up on it. I cannot remember what my friend ordered but I had the Country Rigatoni and finished the entire plate. The ambiance and vibe were lively and appropriate for a low-key evening with friends and family. I've been a wine club member for about two years now. I go regularly because the experience is consistently excellent. Every wine I've tried here has been good, even if it's not normally my preference. I tend to like sweeter wines, but the tastings always let me experience a great variety, and I've never been disappointed. The service is always exceptional. They truly make sure your glass stays full, encourage questions, and everyone I've interacted with is incredibly knowledgeable about the wines, which makes the experience even better. So try the wine! Tastings are reasonably priced and worth it. And for dinner, you really can't go wrong. The Drunken Shrimp is always a solid starter...everything is better with a little bacon lol. The soy ginger salmon may look simple, but it's packed with flavor and very satisfying. Every risotto I've tried has been rich, filling, and delicious. This place is classy yet comfortable, and the service is consistently attentive whether you're at the bar, at a table, or doing a tasting. I'm so glad they opened the Wesley Chapel location it's convenient for me to pick up my bottles and an easy go-to spot when friends or visitors are in town. Oh, how fun! I hadn't planned this visit at all. I wasn't even supposed to be in Wesley Chapel on this "uh oh, it's getting hot too fast" Florida Friday in April. But just before I was supposed to turn right to go home, I turned left and went here-and I'm so glad I did! This Cooper's Hawk location is just east of Wiregrass Mall. It's less hectic in that immediate area-for now, anyway. CH has a big parking lot-and while I've heard it's jammed on weekend nights, there was no problem on a Friday afternoon at 1:45. (though it was buzzy and bustling then, too). This is a pretty and modern restaurant-lots of grays and whites with some succulents and brushed gold finishing. It's a totally different feel than the "woods in a leafy setting" of the original Tampa location (which I love), near International Mall. Different vibes, but each is appealing-and the gorgeous menu, is the same. You enter into the wine tasting room, complete with so many bottles for sale and fun merch. (I'll be back soon to do some early Christmas shopping) I got a table right away, so didn't have long to look-but there's a bottle I have my eye on, for next time. The layout at this location works well. I was seated in the large dining room, in a cozy corner with a good view. The complimentary bread and whipped butter came out right away. This might be the first time I've tried it, since my friends usually get it all down while I'm still studying the menu. It's good! (And I tend to love anything served on a board). Then it was on to apps. I really wasn't hungry enough for one-but how can you not order their Brussels sprouts! Oh, those cashews! I'm not an aioli person at all-but I actually like it on these! So good -and a huge portion! I couldn't finish it, of course, but am still so glad I ordered it. For my main, I went with my usual-Ellie's piccata chicken. I got the lunch portion-which is great plenty: two chicken breasts, atop a bed of lemon-sauced capellini pasta, with long asparagus spears on the side and topped with capers. IMHO, you just can't go wrong with this dish. I'm smiling, just thinking about it. It's so spring-forward and fresh-but yummy all year long. And the lunch special is a nice option if you're saving calories/money. On this visit I had an unoaked Chardonnay and the pear drop martini. I'd definitely have them both again. And I had a very warm and kind server-who knew exactly when to come check on me. She recommended I try Dana's chicken next time. It looks good, too. We started with a wine tasting in the tasting room, which is always wonderful. Our bartender was quite personable and attentive, making sure we moved along each of our tastings. We sat at the bar for dinner, the potstickers and egg rolls are our go to apps. The sauces are what elevate these two so well. The sweet soy glaze on the potstickers and the salsa verde on the egg rolls are to die for! My wife and I split a filet medallions meal, and much to our pleasant surprise they came out on two places already split. This was a really nice touch that separates this restaurant for others, they are so accommodating with excellent execution.
