HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! I will never come back again and I don't recommend anybody coming here!!!! My son was attend today and the dentist assistant doesn't have experience at all. They dropped all the spacers on my son and didn't put any googles/glasses to protect his eyes but they did. The doctor with blond hair attend my son and put anesthesia incorrectly and didn't wait until it effect him. He was shaking and trembling on how much it hurt. She tried to pull my son's molar 3 times and took more than an 1 hour and couldn't take off the bits of pieces of the tooth. And the doctor was training like teaching the dentist assistant while treating my son and he was very nervous. They do not how to attend with kids. The doctor and assistant weren't nice and empathic with kids. *PS They have good reviews because the receptionist bribes the patients parents that they're going to give you piñata and gifts if you leave a good review on their page. If they work well, people will return there's no need to give free stuff on doing non-professional work. read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]We've had multiple visits to this dental office, and while the doctors are good and the staff is friendly, there are ongoing communication issues that make the experience frustrating and unprofessional.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were recently scheduled for an emergency extraction appointment, even though I clearly told the staff we had a referral from our orthodontist for a planned extraction.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had already been seen in the office, and they were aware of our case. We also told them we would bring the referral with us. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When we arrived, we spent 2 hours for it, only to be told that the doctor who was supposed to do the extraction wasn't even working that day -- and no one told us this in advance[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff couldn't explain the mix-up and never acknowledged that it was a miscommunication on their end.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Instead, they vaguely said they "had to see what extractions," which was confusing and unprofessional. We were fully prepared for a procedure that could not even happen due to their scheduling mistake. My 15 year old went after my 7 year old and she said the same thing mama please don't bring us back to this location. I recently moved back to the Sun Valley location. Pros: The front staff was friendly. The guy who did the my daughter's cleaning was great! He explained everything to my daughter and showed her and let her touch the tools he was going to use for the cleaning. They had options for the toothpaste flavors. The room she got her cleaning in was Mario and they had a movie playing for her. My daughter liked the toy she got. Cons: First visit and she was cavity free and they didn't make her feel special for doing a great job brushing her teeth. No certificate! The dentist didn't really explain what she was doing to my daughter and my daughter was really nervous. For a children's dental office I expect the dentist to be very friendly and to explain what she is doing to build rapport with patients. Parking is sketchy. I didn't feel comfortable parking there. They were out of the toothbrush goody bags. They were out of toys for girls. It's far for us. I took my 2 other children to the Granada Hills location and it was much better for their first visit. They got their cavity free certificate, goody bag, and toy. It's so much closer. read more
