First impressions were not great, the place is extremely outdated, and it was so hot in there!! I came in and filled out the paperwork. The dental assistant seated me and took X-rays. The doctor comes in and examines my teeth/gums with her mirror and begins to question me about how often I floss. Proceeds to recommend a special gum cleanse (hasn't even been 6 months since my last check up/cleaning). She leaves and tells me her front desk lady will come in and quote me. At this point, I'm confused because after looking at my X-rays and teeth, she didn't catch the giant hole in my tooth?? Not only that, but not once was I asked by anyone the reason for my visit. The front desk lady comes in and quotes me $40 today for gum cleansing. Seems to me that they're looking for easy money. I display my frustration and tell her no, I'm here because I have a broken filling that I want to get fixed, even though I wrote down that I have a broken filling on paper before being called inside. She called the doctor back in, and she examined my teeth again, saying she didn't see it. I was quoted, a few days later, I called to get statements printed for the procedure, but their printer was broken and I would be receiving it in the mail. Never received anything. Clearly, they do not care about their patients. Will not be returning.

The receptionists are friendly, and the lobby is small. Receptionists were always prompt about giving me at least 48 hours notice of my appointment time which I really appreciated. Dr. Vorperian is kind, but he's not warm - he's very direct which I could understand why patients might find him off-putting. However, I never felt he was unprofessional, mean, or anything else besides helpful. He provided me with relief and set up a temporary crown for an eventual permanent crown. The entire process took about two months, but that was only because my insurance needed to approve it, not the office. Overall, I had a positive experience. While going to the dentist can be intimidating, Dr. Vorperian and his staff took excellent care of me when I needed it most, and I am very grateful.

Another dentist I consulted told me this outcome was not typical after routine fillings. I fully intend to address the original issues when my schedule allows and will be returning to 32ology. (I was a patient at the surgery prior to 32ology taking over). The atmosphere is now one of a spa rather than a dental surgery. They did such a great job with the decor, even down to the choice of bibs! Dr. Kudaverdian is an absolute genius, her expertise in this area of dentistry & across the board is incredible. In one visit she restored my self confidence, the process was not straight forward due to my dental specifics. But Dr. Kudaverdian worked magic and I left a new person! The process was not painful, no anesthetic & was out in just over an hour. It did feel a little strange initially and for 24hrs there are a few things to avoid 48hrs since my visit and I don't notice it. I had my credit cards, insurance card, and even my COVID vaccine info all loaded up on my phone, but no ID. I completely understand that policies are in place, and if no ID no service is the rule, so be it. However, the reason for my 0-star rating is the tone of the interaction. Forgetting your ID is a simple mistake, but the front office made no attempt to find a solution. We all know how busy life gets, and I took time out of my day to show up. So the attitude I got from the front staff felt unnecessary and frustrating. Also, it was disappointing that the office didn't try to find a more customer-friendly resolution. I could have provided my credit cards, social security number, or even my previous exam records (which they had a copy of)--my crowns are still in the same places! I didn't get to experience the positive interactions others have shared, and that's a real shame.
