A Truly Special Daycare - A Blessing for Our Family Our two children (ages 2 and 4) have been attending Mrs. Kiza's daycare for some time now, and we can honestly say she has been a true blessing to our family. From the moment we met her, it was clear how deeply she cares for each child. Our son began with limited speech, and within just a few months under Mrs. Kiza's care and encouragement, he was speaking with confidence. Our daughter has flourished as well--family and friends are constantly amazed by her vocabulary and how expressive she is for her age. One of the biggest signs of how much our kids love being there? The daily struggle at pickup time! They never want to leave, often kicking and screaming because they've had such a great day. Even at home, they can't stop talking about Mrs. Kiza and their experiences at daycare. Before finding her, we had tried a larger daycare, but it was a completely different experience. Our son was often sick and didn't receive the attention he needed--he was just a number. With Mrs. Kiza, every child is loved and seen. She even checks in after hours or when the kids miss a day to make sure they're doing okay. That kind of care and thoughtfulness is rare. As a mom with high anxiety, it means the world to me to have someone I trust so completely. Mrs. Kiza puts my mind at ease every day. If your kids don't want to leave at pickup time, that's the best sign that something truly special is happening. She is a Godsend and loves our babies just like we do. read more

My review is specifically being written for awareness towards current families also future families considering ABC Learning Childcare. Perspective: My children were enrolled a total of 9 months. During which time COVID policy did not allow for parents to shadow or understand how a typical day is run through free play, instruction and curriculum. This policy had always upset me considering my oldest is 2 and youngest 5+ months during the time of enrollment. I will separate my personal opinion and a more constructive business oriented review to ensure as much transparency as possible. Personal Review: Specific to the general well being and care for my children, Mrs. Kiza treated my daughters with love respect. Business Review: For the first initial 3-4 months I did not worry about the health and safety of my children. However it was not until about the 4 month mark when things started to change. We were notified about my youngest daughter having sweaty palms - to which Mrs. Kiza inferred it is related to a heart condition and that we should have her checked by her pediatrician. In my opinion, this should never have been said let alone warranted. It's not like she is a doctor. Another setback seemed to be a repetitive theme of negativity when mom and dad were picking up children from school and Mrs. Kiza seemed to focus on bad behaviors rather then providing even some small wins throughout the day. It just seemed negative. We understand that the toddler stage is rough, and I'm not naive to think my kids are any different. However, small wins and positivity can go much further then focusing on the negatives. I was also highly discouraged when I discovered much older children were also present and parents were not given awareness or notified on the possibility of older and younger children being social with one another. My perspective for this is that 5-6grader (boys) should not be near a two year old or younger for that matter. We were told that the two co-horts were separated, however I will never know for certain. Lastly, and most importantly, for which I'm writing this review; ABC Learning is in breach of contract. At anytime, current parents while thinking they have childcare service secured, could be terminated at a moments notice. We were given 10 days notice that we were being asked to find alternative means of childcare. We asked if it was health related or behavioral and we were told that it was neither. Therefore, this was a PERSONAL decision made by Mrs. Kiza which affected my family, and as a result the need to write my review. I hope to bring awareness for the other families to consider since red flags like this is important to understand context especially when children are being displaced and impacted. Please consider this as an for example for potential families looking to explore childcare services provided by ABC Childcare. read more

Our son has been attending ABC Village and he LOVES it, and so do we! Everyone you interact with is incredible. The teachers do a great job at keeping us updated on how our son is doing and areas we can work on. They keep learning fun! We cannot recommend ABC enough!! read more

Great family-owned daycare. We have had our daughter there since birth and she is almost 4 now. I wouldn't trust anyone else to take care of her because she and all the other kids are treated like family at Mrs. Kiza's . My only regret is we didn't know them when the boys were born. I don't think I've met a more dedicated person in my career (I work in school-age care) as I have in Kiza. She is there 110% for the kid's needs every day and will push her wants and needs aside to make sure all her kids are taken care of. My hat goes off to her for all the hard work and care she puts into the fun and learning at ABC Learning Daycare. Our little Julianna's face lights up when she hears Mrs. Kiza's name or the "K" word as we've come to call it at home . She has come leaps and bounds in learning and that is all thanks to this preschool program so don't be surprised if you put your little one in here and within a few weeks, they know shapes, colors and counting because it shocked me at first how fast she picked it up. Thank you for that Mrs. Kiza! Trying new food was always fun and that's where we got a lot of help at daycare. We could pack her a stand by lunch but Kiza would always try to encourage Julianna to eat something that they were having. It didn't usually work but she was always so helpful with that which we appreciated so much. Definitely recommend this place for your child as the people here will do nothing but love and care for them and ultimately teach them to be prepared for school an if they are in school already then they'll have a great place to hang out and get there homework done with fun people . read more

I have to say, I would not trust my baby with anyone else. Mrs. Kiza is absolutely Amazing. My daughter has learned sign language, some Spanish, and is actually singing songs at just 18 months. We absolutely love her and would not take our little one to anyone else!!! read more

It took a painstaking 2yrs to find quality daycare/preschool for our daughter, and since we found Kiza, our daughter has never be happier or more excited to go to school. She has learned faster than any other child we know her age. Loosing Mrs. Kiza is the only thing that has given us pause on the idea of moving back to LA. If or when we do, our daughter Shen and her family will sorely miss her. Mrs. Kiza and her school are a valuable asset to our children and community. So if you are one of the lucky she has room for, because spots don't open up often, your child IS blessed. read more

Hands down the best childcare and preschool in town. I can't begin to tell you about how amazing Kiza is with her kids. It can be hard for a parent to leave their little ones in the hands of someone else while they go off to work. My wife and I were very nervous about sending our son off to a daycare we really didn't know much about. Kiza ended up having an opening and we jumped all over it. We are truly impressed with how well Kiza runs her daycare/preschool. Our son loves going there and would come home telling us about all the amazing things he did that day. Not only did we as parents feel very comfortable, but our son did as well. I know we live in a crazy world right now where parents are getting more and more protective of their children... I will tell you that you will have peace of mind as a parent knowing that your child is in great hands as this daycare/preschool. This is the perfect place that you can trust to put your child in. My two young daughters went to Mrs. Kiza for many years. This daycare was a major role in their development throughout the years. Don't be fooled by the pictures, yes it is a Home daycare but Mrs. Kiza takes as much pride in teaching the children as she does giving them a loving and caring environment. I would NOT trust my children with anyone else. Do not think that the cookie cutter, non home child care center can provide better, one on one, loving care that this home care can, because they can't. Try the rest and then come to the best. When I was searching for childcare a little over year ago, I did not want to place my child in a daycare center. Although daycare centers had a great curriculum, the buildings all seemed cold and uninviting. My prayers were answered when I showed up at the ABC Learning Childcare & Preschool! From the moment I drove up to the property, I felt a sense of comfort and love. After meeting Kiza and looking around the place a bit, I was very happy. I knew that I found a place where my daughter would feel loved and would also get the preschool education I was looking for. My daughter gets excited when I tell her it's time to go Ms. Kiza's! Kiza and Mia are amazing! My daughter spent over two years in their care, and I believe there is no place better than ABC Learning Childcare & Preschool. They treat every child like family, while still instructing each day. My daughter was so happy there and learned so much preparing her for Kindergarten. They pour their hearts and souls into this business and the children. Professional, organized, and trustworthy are just some of the many qualities to describe them. ABC Learning Childcare is by far the best daycare I've placed all of my faith in to care for my children! The owners( Kiza and Mia ) are the sweetest women on Earth and treat each child as their very own! They open early and close later to accommodate the hardworking families out there. They also maintain the most clean of households and have a schedule together for young ones to adjust to Elementary school. Kids are well prepared for TK/Kindergarten before even starting which sets them well ahead of the learning game. Teachers at the Elementary schools are even impressed with the curriculum and standards upheld by ABC. We've been with them for almost 7 years and I recommend them to everyone! read more

Our Granddaughter is cared for at ABC. Kiza and Mia are fantastic and Julianna could not be in better hands. The timing was just right for us to get a spot in their Daycare. Seeing how they treat child as an individual, teach, exercise and do arts and crafts made our decision easy. Feels good to have her where we feel she is safe, learning and loved. read more

Also, she is very busy takin care of the children and can't always answer her phone. My daughter attended ABC Learning Childcare & Preschool from 7 months to almost 5 years old. She is our one and only child so I was worried about leaving her at day care all day. Ms. Kiza is the most caring, loving, intelligent, organized, thoughtful and trustworthy caregiver I have ever met. I wish she taught K-12 because my daughter would still be there. Ms. Kiza taught her so much. ABC's, 123's, shapes, colors , all the fundamental tools she needs to attend school. My husband and I have a crazy work schedule and she was able to work with our hours. She made me feel so comfortable leaving my daughter with her. I would recommend ABC Learning & Childcare to anyone who is looking for safe, fun, fulfilling environment for their little ones. read more
