My baby Marianne has been attending their infant room since she was 2 1/2 months old she's 4 months now and she has grown so much and seems to love it here. I wasn't planning on leaving a review because I wanted to move on after the experience my son had at this daycare a couple of years ago. However, I feel other parents deserve to know why we decided to remove him. Our experience was extremely disappointing. On multiple occasions, my son was constantly getting injured and one time he had a bump on his head. When I asked the staff about what had happened, no one was able to give me an explanation or seemed to know how the injuries occurred. There was only two teachers for what looked like 20 2-3 year olds. I also had concerns about the communication regarding his meals. The daycare app frequently showed that he had eaten all of his food, yet he was consistently starving when I picked him up. I eventually started packing extra food because he was always so hungry. On one occasion, a staff member told me he hadn't eaten his lunch, even though the app had been marked that he had eaten it, which made me question the accuracy of the information being provided. Another concern was the cameras. They often seemed to be unavailable or not working when I wanted to check in. On one occasion when I was able to access the camera, I saw my son sitting alone in a corner crying, and no one appeared to be comforting or attending to him. As a parent, that was heartbreaking to see. Every parent's experience may be different, but based on what my family went through, I could no longer trust that my son was receiving the care and supervision he deserved. Removing him from this daycare was one of the best decisions we made. read more

I was super hesitant to start my son in any kind of childcare, but Childtime has been a God send! He has attended since he was 2 and he absolutely loves it! The teachers are amazing and provide a fun, play-based learning environment. Despite the fact that I can look at him on the cameras at all times, I find myself not needing to look because I fully trust him in their care! They are so patient and amazing! I don't even know how to begin to write this review- I am SO amazed by this place. Every single teacher is kind, caring and dedicated. They all greet every child with so much love and they have SO much fun with the kids. One of my favorite aspects about this place is that they share pictures of our child through their app which is a protected portal- and they update you through the day with pictures and videos of them learning, growing and having fun! They also update all diaper changes, what they eat and drink. And with all of this work that they do- they do it with the BIGGEST smiles on their face. Another thing is the curriculum they have! They don't just watch the kids- they love them, play with them, care for them, nurture them- and they TEACH them all the things!!! They are up to date on all things education and make sure that our kids receive that here as well. My daughter is learning so much and coming home doing all the things she learned and we are IN LOVE WITH ALL OF IT. She is SO smart, and this place is nurturing that and growing it!! I want to ESPECIALLY thank the director- ABBEY!!!! She is THEEEEEEEE BEST! Oh my gosh!!! I love her so much. Where do I start? I intentionally gave it time after leaving Childtime and enrolling my child in another daycare before writing this review. I wanted to see if perhaps all preschools functioned the same way, since this was our first preschool experience. I can now confidently say: they do not. Childtime falls short in many areas--most importantly in academics, but also in communication, engagement, and staffing ratios. Any time concerns were raised, the response was a blank stare, as if they had no idea what to do. They've truly perfected the "deer in headlights" look. They were consistently understaffed, and my child came home dirty every single day. During his time there, I never received a single piece of writing, learning material, or even holiday artwork aside from one thing for Easter. By comparison, since joining his new preschool, he has excelled academically, gained confidence, and comes home with work that shows what he's learning. The difference is night and day. To be fair, the only teacher at Childtime who was worth a damn was Miss Joni--she genuinely cared. Unfortunately, she was the exception, not the rule. At his new school, the staff are kind, personable, and responsible. They greet parents warmly, communicate directly, and follow through on what they say. Childtime rarely greeted us, and when they did, it felt reluctant. And to top it off, my child is no longer coming home filthy, as if he had been parked in front of a mud pile all day. Childtime missed the mark in every meaningful way, while our new preschool has shown me what a quality early education environment should look like. read more

Most terrible childcare we have ever enrolled our child to. Some of the teachers are abusive - yelling, threats, time-outs are a daily norm. My child was heavily bullied for weeks nd none of the teachers interfered. He was hit in the genitals and called names, was hit and called names. Nothing happened from the teachers' sides. We had to report them. My child still suffers from the trauma of bullying and the teacher's scare tactics and threats. On the live cam I observed my child sitting on the floor crying for at least 10 minutes and no one reacted until I called them. I walked in once and my child was crying and a kid kept ripping things out of his hands. The teacher was sitting on a table next to them and did nothing until I confronted her. She shrugged it off like "he like to cry". The food is terrible and portions are so small that my kid was usually hungry. I had to pack extra food for him just to make sure he has extra food with him. It reminded me of food they serve in jail on the same foam plates. Snack almost ALWAYS consist of ice cream, muffins, cupcakes, sugary crackers or just some gold fish. No one in there was ever loving or caring about any of the children. The teachers have a very very small education and don't know how to manage the classroom properly. Some kids are out of control and jump on and off the tables (no, I am not joking). No music enrichment except for music played from the radio. Arts & Crafts are basic and nothing that helps kids develop new skills. Heavily focused on academics like writing etc. ZERO parent events. Zero Community, zero care. Here and there a fake 'Hey' towards a kid that arrives or a parent. That's all. No reports on children's development and progress. HIGH turnover of staff. People came and went every month. Most of the time we didn't even know the person who was with the kids. Never were we informed about any changes regarding the staff. Generally we weren't informed of anything. There is NO communication from the director. Zero. She doesn't do anything but sit in her office and chat with the coworkers. Go see for yourself. No updated calendar - not online or anywhere. No updates on anything. No answers to my messages ever. The place is definitely under staffed and I am not surprised, because this place is a nuthouse. Often my kid wasn't even in his classroom because they constantly have to combine them in other classrooms due to teacher shortages. You go in a try to find your child somewhere inside the building. Absolutely no consistency, no communication, no enrichment. Garbage. We heavily regret to have enrolled our kid at this horrible place. read more

My wife is a stickler for being well informed on a lot of different levels, but when it comes to our child she wants minute but minute when she is not present. When it came down to choosing a place that could adhere to our demands I trusted my wife to make the best decision for our family and let me tell you what we couldn't be happier. We can hop on a app at anytime and peek in on what our little man is doing paired with up to date potty, nap, food, and even activities! Every single staff member is an absolute joy to deal with and Abby (the director of operations) is just as amazing whilst running a tight well oiled ship. My child has always had a wonderful time. They are very good with kids. My older used to go as well, and always wanted to stay longer.

We moved here and we're nervous about Putting our kids in daycare again, bad experience before. But the director and assistant director are so sweet, honest, friendly and communicate great. We could not be happier, I had to chance to move her a bit closer to the house but we love my daughters teachers, and what would we do without Miss Abby and Mr. James?! Child time of Temecula and the staff have exceeded every expectation I had for a pre school for my son- and then some! When I drop my son off in the morning I rest easy during the day knowing he is safe and sound. This facility is super clean. The curriculum has made a tremendous impact on my son. He LOVES his teachers and every morning they greet him with hugs and a big hello. The educators and director are the secret ingredient and you won't find them anywhere but here. You can have a perfect building with all the bells and whistles but it's nothing without the hard work of the people inside. My son went to this school for couple weeks. It was my son's first school. He was 2 at the time. The teacher had 12 to 13 kids at the drop off on most days and didn't have much time to spend with my son. We felt that the teachers are over worked and they had too many students for 2 year old class. I had the impression that it was more about money not about kids. I'm not sure why it doesn't have bad review but I have 2 older kids and been through different schools but this was by far the worst experience that we had. It may have been bad timing or short staff but I felt bad for my son and other kids constantly crying when I see them at school. It just didn't seem like a happy fun place for kids at the time. And my son moved to new school which usually had only 6 kids per teacher and he was so happy to go to school!!! read more

They offer parents' night out, summer camps, and provide fun activities for the kids. I would like to tell you a story about my history with Child time on Nicolas Road. First of all, I want to say I toured many day care centers in San Diego as well as Temecula and Murrieta. When I toured this daycare center, I just felt at peace. I felt this was a place I could leave my baby and know she would be safe and well cared for. There was only one problem. I work in San Diego. I would have to leave by 5:30am every morning in order to work on time. This daycare did not open until 6:30. So, guess what I decided to do because I liked this daycare so much? I decided to look around for another school in my district that did not start until close to 9:00am giving me time to get my baby girl to this wonderful daycare. It all worked out for me. I was able to get with a later start. I was able to place my child at a daycare center that was perfect for our family, this Child time. However, the long commute to San Diego from Temecula took a toll and we ended up having to move. After a year at a San Diego Day Care, we decided to move back towards Temecula again. To make a long story shorter. We ended up moving to Fallbrook making my commute more doable than when we were living in Murrieta. We also decided to move our precious girl back to Child time. She has been very happy there and so have we. All we want as parents is to have our precious girl be in an environment where she is well cared for. We know we can breathe a sigh of relief when we are at work knowing she is safe and happy. The entire staff is wonderful. I spoke with Ms. Abbey and Ms. Heidi mostly. I also spoke to Ms. Deanne when she was there. I appreciate how they took the time to speak to me and my husband. They all have great people skills. It's important when you work with families. I also like that they keep the place really clean. I like that they have a camera in every room so the directors can keep an eye on the children. I also appreciate the teachers Ms. Nicole and Ms. Jacqueline. I also love how I don't have to pack her my daughter food. I love this daycare. I can't say enough good things about it. read more

I was so anxious putting my 6month old into daycare, I toured ChildTime and Abby made us feel right at home. The infant room is very clean and everyone has to wear shoe protectors (which I love). I really wanted to like this school and there were many reasons to- clean classrooms, status updates thru the brigtwheel app , easy online payments. My son however, hated going there and would cry as I would get into the driveway. Ive wondered why as everything seemed nice. As Ive interacted more and more with his teacher, Ive come to realized why. His teacher, Miss Stephanie, my son was in the toddler room, never once smiled and when she did it seemed fake. I got the sense that she didnt enjoy being there. Ms Stephanie would never greet me good morning and when it would be time to pick up my child, and would ask how my child day went she would just mumble answers. It was like she didnt care about the kids. My child is in a different pre school now and is thriving. His teachers are just so much friendlier and seemed to care so much. Im so happy I made the decision to pull him out to a school with mich nicer teachers. read more

My family loved Childtime! All of the teachers were so nice and seemed to genuinely care about my daughter. They were always so excited to see my daughter every morning, and my daughter was happy to see them. The director and assistant director were always friendly and very accommodating. On my daughter's last day at Childtime most of her teachers cried, and they all gave her hugs and kisses when we left. We moved out-of-state, and I am having a horrible time finding childcare because none of them seem to be able to compare to the AMAZING experience we had at Childtime. read more

If your child hits any of the developmental milestones on the ASQ's (turning lights on and off, opening and closing doors, climbing on furniture) they will not accept your child. My son was asked not to come back after 4 hours because on his first day he kept opening the door trying to leave. Although the teachers said he had a great day, the director told me that they aren't staffed to give a child individual attention. She told me we could try again when he was ready to be in daycare environment (as a military family my child has ALWAYS been in daycare from the age of 3 mos) but was not ready at the time. Seriously? That was the assessment after half a day? I'm glad he got kicked out because I actually found a way better facility. And you know what they said on his first day? That he had a great day but kept trying to open doors, but it was normal. And the first day was the only day he tried to leave. So unless you have an infant that just lays there, have a back up plan since they obviously aren't used to children with a pulse. Or better yet, just enroll them elsewhere. read more

I am not at all about bashing a center but I clearly did not like the incident that happened there. I placed my lil guy in there P/T and when i came to pick him up up one day they said he had a good day, etc. It wasn't till i noticed a big bruise on his forehead which i didn't see when i picked him up. My son has long hair that covers to his eyes and to the back of his shoulders. So imagine its quite long. I didn't feel to observe him and do a "body check" since I felt the time to trust them. I made a phone call while i was at the store while i saw this big bruise on his head asked them how come they didn't tell me about it when i picked him up. According to their policy any incidents need to be reported immediately and parents are to be notified. Which was not done!! SO What really did happen? I do not know till this day. when I had called them the same day after seeing the bruise on his head while i was at the store , they said Oh he does have a bruise ,.. like it was a surprise to them,... they needed to check to see if there was an incident report etc.. At the time they had placed me on hold for sometime which made me feel uncomfortable. The teacher didn't know what happened and here I am on hold with puzzles in my head about what happened and why aren't they on top of it. I didn't sleep easy that night, just with the thought of... if he had a concussion or something i wouldn't of known he hit his head without seeing that bruise... since he had to hit his head really hard in order for a bruise to appear and he doesn't bruise easily. I ended up dis enrolling him and calling the Corporate office of the Child time center. I spoke to the Woman in Charge and she was very helpful and listened to my situation and concern. She had to pay a visit to the center and do a run through of the course of action when cases like this happen and to be on top of it and to not let it happen again. She was very caring and concerned as well...I am not about trying to get anyone in trouble but its the fact why not tell me or be "aware" he had fallen or he hit something or whatever the case might be but it was very unsettling... read more
