They really work with you and care about you as a person. Unlike some of the prosthetic places I've had experience with, they don't just look at you as a way for them to make money. They will work with your insurance company, or as in my case, worker's comp, in order to assure you the best possible leg. They also have a gigantic gym and a rock climbing wall right there in the office. Also, they have 2 cute dogs running around all the time that are very friendly and love to be played with. Ronnie is a great prosthetist, and he's made and done the upkeep on all of my sockets. Everyone here is very knowledgeable and most of the employees are actually amputees themselves. All around, I highly recommend this place for any amputees.

The specialist I was assigned absolutely can't follow requests for making my AFO fit and function correctly. It is so disappointing. Everytime I visit it is made worse and worse. It's impossible to see if another specialist there is any better. I've had 2 or 3 appointments cancelled on me because the specialist wasn't going to be in. I wouldn't have bothered to go through this whole difficult process if I'd have known I'd be better off on my own trying to rig something, because at the end of the day, that's what happened.

Our son needed a foot surgery, and Dr. Birnbaum took great care of everything, explaining everything to us, and helping us to not fear such a young child going under anesthesia. His staff is also great, as they all interacted and really engaged our son, really putting him at ease with what was going on.

As you can imagine, we've seen many physicians in different cities, even different states. And never have I been as impressed with any of them as I have been with Dr. C. Of course he is extremely knowledgeable, and he took the time to explain everything - even drawing diagrams - so that we understood what was going on with our son (far better than we had from going online and trying to research for ourselves). He also made a point to be prepared for our appointments by reading the latest scientific literature and sharing that knowledge with us. Twice he received lab results and called after office hours to discuss them with us rather than having us wait for our next appointment. And he is extremely compassionate; I've come away from every appointment feeling that he really cares about my son and his well being, above and beyond the (often perfectly adequate) care and attention my children have received from other doctors. This man is a treasure; protect him at all costs!

Everyone we encountered at this location as been great. They still do temperature checks and require masks for everyone. The person who does the breathing test is protected from head to toe with a face shield over a respirator. People here listen to what you have to say and seem to really care about their patients. I would definitely recommend them for the pulmonology department at least. I cannot comment on the other departments as we have not used them.
