Somehow "The Strip" has become just as expensive as New York, London, Maui and Tokyo. That's why It was so awesome to find an ABC store that not only sold large cold bottles of water for a buck, they also sold cheap sandwiches and snack items here. We were struggling to find somewhere on the strip that sold affordable pre-made sandwich for a day excursion the next day. Lo and behold, ABC had a whole area dedicated to sandwiches and other fresh snacks for a picnic. They were pretty good tasting too. - Souvenirs are very reasonably priced. - Booze too. - This is a must visit if you're spending a few nights on the strip. read more

ABC stores has become almost like an addiction for me. I first learned of ABC when I went to Honolulu earlier this year and we had one located across the street from our hotel. Because they are on every corner in Waikiki. I had gotten many gifts for people and found lots of new things at ABC and their prices just could not be beat. So here I was walking down the strip over by MGM and Eminem world and we saw an ABC store. So, of course we had to go! They have about 70% of the stuff that we got in Hawaii. It was amazing. I was able to get some pre-Christmas shopping done without paying the shipping fees. I only had to fly home with it. They also have great prices on bottled water while you're walking on the strip and burning up. They have a few check out stands, but do expect a line. It is worth it though. Do yourself a favor and take advantage of their macadamia nut offers you can get two bags for about $26 and their Maui onion and garlic are outstanding as well as the Himalayan salt. They just do not compare to the once we get here on the mainland. Also try the pineapple chewy candy because they are amazing and I now believe my nephew is addicted. The ABC Store is a nice addition to the CVS filled strip. It's nice to see this Hawaiian convenience store added to the strip. I guess you can say they're adding a little island vibe to the desert. The ABC store is definitely a one stop shop. The selection in there ranges from snacks and beverages to a vast amount of clothing in the back of the store. They also carry a good amount of souvenirs like magnets and Trump bobbleheads if that is something you desire. Honestly the prices are not bad considering that the store is only a block away from the MGM and the other big hotels in Vegas. If I remember correctly, I think my purchase of a bottle of water, Powerade and a pack of Macadamia nuts only costed my $7. Spending less than $10 inside a store for multiple items is considered a win for me in Vegas. I'll definitely stop by here next time if I stay close to the ABC store. read more

This place is exactly like the one in Hawaii, except for there are a few Las Vegas logos on the packages of macadamia nuts. (There is another chain of "ABC" stores in North Carolina, but those are the government operated liquor stores.) You can buy pineapple, macadamia nuts, souvenirs, sandwiches, sushi, sunglasses, toiletries, and basically anything you can imagine at this place. ABC stores are like 7-elevens you'll find all over Hawaii - offering lots of souvenirs and sundries. Its also one of the better places to get Hawaiian nuts and candy. Hawaiian Host is probably one of their better brands for mac nut chocolates. The stores are also all over Vegas! This particular location is super convenient, between Monte Carlo, the Coke Bottle, and MGM. They open late, have a huge inventory, and are brightly lit. The store is clean and the cashiers extremely friendly in their Hawaiian shirts. There is absolutely no reason to shop at gift shops inside casinos anymore - look for the closest ABC store and you'll find greater variety and much lower prices. I got discounted sunscreen and coconut water at 2 for $5 here. The other plus for this location is that its right on the Strip. You'll find street performers in costume that'll pose with you for tips. Superheroes, celebrity impersonators, sometimes Disney characters. I had to do a double take yesterday night when I saw three showgirls promoting Hard Rock Cafe and one of them in pasties! Yikes - reminds me of NYC Times Square. The downside - its near the Strip and next to two major crosswalks so super crowded outside! read more

I was so excited when I found out there was an ABC store in walking distance from our hotel. Walking into ABC felt like I was back home in Hawaii. This location is conveniently located in the shopping mall on the strip next to CVS. We were looking for a place to stock up on snacks and of course boos as we were NOT getting ourselves caught up with the mini bar in our hotel. ABC is a one stop shop. They carry everything ranging from a wide variety of snacks, prepackaged sandwiches, non alcoholic & alcoholic beverages, clothing items, souvenirs, any necessities you may need. The pricing wasn't too bad considering the location as its surrounded by several high end hotels. I was actually expecting to pay more than we did. My boyfriend and I stayed at The Cosmopolitan and the walk to the store was short and very convenient (approx 10 mins). Overall customer service was great! Although there's a lot of traffic in and out of this location, the check out process was quick & seamless. ABC will definitely be our go to during our next visit. Aloha & Mahalo! read more

I'm not cheap, people! Anyone who visits Vegas (or travels in general) understands that hotel prices for basic necessities can get ridiculous. Why I chose to stock up here was because I learned an unfortunate lesson staying at Park MGM. All of their eateries and restaurants are closed by 10pm weekdays, midnight on Friday & Saturday & there's no room service at that time, either. They have a convenience store where a turkey sandwich, bag of chips & a soda set me back $18. That's where ABC comes in; the next day I passed by and decided to have a look inside. They have a great priced variety of snacks, prepackaged sandwiches (same ones sold at the hotel), fruit trays, Lunchables, candy, drinks, booze and souvenirs; plus it's right across the street from Park MGM. If you exit Eataly, the bridge outside will take you over the street and right in front of ABC. I decided to stock up in case I was out again past 11 & the late night grubs kicked in with a vengeance. ***Take a look at my pic... 2 cans of soda, 2 mini Vodka bottles, a juice, a turkey sandwich, Doritos, a shareable sized bag of M&Ms AND a tall can of Michelada... $22 and some change. You can tell that there are good people who work here. They take pride in their jobs and serving customers. I have been here multiple times and have never had a bad experience. We love this convenient store for water, snacks and all the little knick knacks. There is also ice cream that is much cheaper than the spots in miracle miles. My aunt loves Kona coffee macadamian nuts. Since I was going to Las Vegas, I thought I'll drop by the store and get her some. This location was the closest to our hotel and it was also the only location that offered macadamian nuts in gift sets. The prices are slightly higher than the locations in Oahu but there's nothing I can do about it since we are on the strip. Besides macadamian nuts, this place also sells drinks, clothes, snacks, etc. Customer service is good. The reason why I didn't give them 5 stars is because I didn't realize that there was a barcode sticker on the packaging that says $20.99 versus the $23.99 that was posted on the shelf. According to my receipt, I was charged $23.99. read more

We all love abc stores!! Every time my family goes to Hawaii we go to ABC mahalo! And all my friends it's never to far to go get some great drinks and water for your hotel!!! We must stock up for the week in Vegas!! I have lived in Hawai'i off and on my entire life so I am no stranger to ABC Stores. Therefore when I got to Vegas, I was delighted to see they had ABC Stores! I utterly adore their jewelry, especially their bracelets!!!! I'd been in earlier in the day to purchase some but came back later that evening to buy some more.. So, I stopped by in the 9PM hour on a Wed. I tried to strike up a conversation with a store employee but he ignored me. After looking through all the bracelet, I picked out the ones I wanted. I got to the cash register and an assistant manager, Twinkle (?), helped me. She instantly looked at my wrist and saw I was wearing the bracelets I had bought earlier in the day. She said "You didn't come in with those on did you?" I said yes I did. She then sternly said "NO YOU DID NOT". For a good five minutes we went back and forth. She kept accusing me of shop lifting the bracelets I was wearing. If I were to be that stupid and shop lift bracelets, I don't think I'd be wearing them!!! Finally, I took out my phone and found the purchase on my wallet app. I flashed to her which basically shut her up. She then said "oh, I was just asking, not accusing". I followed up saying that she was accusing me of shoplifting. I eventually got in touch with the manager, Patrick,. My experience with Patrick was almost as negative. He actually insulted me over the phone. After this, I felt the best way to deal with this was to go there physically. I went to the store and spoke with him in person. He was pretty weak and seemed pretty indifferent to the fact one of his employees accused me of shoplifting basically saying "sorry...." I guess......and said he would review the surveillance footage. Had I been a manager and someone had come to me to say that an employee had accused them of shoplifting I would have been very, very engaged and asked that customer what I could do for them to make up for the negative experience. I want to give ABC Stores another chance, after all I've been shopping there since I was a child!! I've easily spent 10s of thousands of dollars there. I'm hoping ABC Stores will follow up with this branch because their employees' behavior was VERY VERY RUDE at best. Definitely not the aloha spirit I've come to expect. ABC has stores outside of Hawai'i now? Well, I'm certainly taking advantage of that, boy howdy. My family went to Waikiki twice when I was growing up, and we went to ABC a lot for the necessities. They were a convenience store that had everything we needed, including souvenirs, and didn't overcharge us simply because they were close to Kalakaua Ave. I see that they transplanted that ethos to The Strip. All I needed was Hawaiian Host chocolates (well, I didn't *need* them, heh heh), and I got some, but I noticed that their groceries, drug store items, t-shirts, fake roulette tables, etc. were of good quality and priced reasonably. This is probably the busiest ABC in Las Vegas, but there are others a short walk away. Of course, a short walk can be rather long in 100-degree heat . . . Whatever. You'll find good things at good prices at ABC, moreso than at Walgreens. Aloha! read more

If you have been to Hawaii, you know what an ABC store is. They are as ubiquitous as Starbucks there. Well, at least in Waikiki. Since Las Vegas is nicknamed the 9th Hawaiian Island, it makes sense that ABC would set up shop here. There are a number of ABC stores on the Strip. This one is close to the MGM Grand and NY NY. This store appears to be new. There was a section that looked like it was still being put together. The front of the store is smaller than the back which is expansive. The appeal of ABC is the selection of Hawaiian products and Vegas souvenirs/apparel offered here. You will find things like macadamia nuts and tanning oil here in addition to the requisite alcohol selection. Unfortunately, no mini bottles found here. The back of the store has a refrigerated food section including deli sandwiches, sushi and soda drinks/water. They also carry vacation essentials. Though for things like batteries and OTC medications, you would be better off visiting the 24/7 CVS or Walgreens down the road. If you are looking for a little aloha from Hawaii in Vegas, go to ABC. read more

ABC Stores made my Vegas trip a few weeks ago fantastic! Lil shots to carry with you at all times. A lil beer or Smirnoff to walk the hot streets with. Snacks for days! They even carry the choco covered nuts you find in Hawaii.. The best part?!? They don't charge you an outrageous amount of money just because you are on the strip in Vegas. Gotta wonder why their lines are so long! I suggest getting your corny gifts here, you know the ones, the keychains, shot glasses, etc. But eat the choco there.
