He told me they would order a new part. I waited 2 days for a call from the company with updates. NOTHING. When I did call I had to go through 4 layers of AI. When I finally got to a customer rep, it wasn't even someone at the Roanoke location. She proceeds to tell me they booked me for an appointment August 4th in Winston-Salem! When I called they said my only other option was to drive to Roanoke (From Blacksburg) to drop off the car in the morning of August 6th. The damage to my vehicle is also body damage and should not be done by their techs. They needed to send it to a local bodyshop in the area. Currently my Mom is working to give them the opportunity to make it right, but if not, it will be a bigger issue. For now I encourage anyone to just take an appointment with a local mom and pop shop for replacement, because at least you can speak to an actual human being and they will try and make it right. Update: The customer service is turning it over as an insurance claim issue and making things right.

Had a tree limb go thru my windshield, they replaced it and talked about the fact it was replaced…read morebefore with not a quality windshield (referring to the Manf stamp.) Said this one was better! Not a week later a crack came out the side from the trim, the tech came yesterday, the crack had moved considerably, and the truck hadn't been driven since the discovery. A small chip in the crack in the path of it continuing the about the size of the tip of a pencil appeared. I didn't see it before and the tech said it was the cause of the crack. Not faulty glass or his fault. "Of course not!" If that small chip could crack the windshield like that it has to be a very cheap glass, I think it was a fault as the crack moved it popped it out. Tech didn't like my getting upset about paying for another glass, I told him to replace it and I would pay and went into the house. After a while he knocked on my door, telling my he didn't like my attitude and to calm down! At my home, gets me to come outside again, and tells me to calm down! I left him to do his job and wait for him to finish, and he pulled me back out to tell me that! Then decided he wasn't going to do the job and left. The main office would not answer my call. They let the phone ring, no answering machine, just let it ring 3:10 in the afternoon. Buyer beware, good price, but you get what you pay for! I have called Safelite to do the job now. cost more but I think it's worth it, a better rep.
