I was diagnosed with a cracked tooth which caused an infection and extraction of the tooth was going to be the best option. During my consult the office did a really cool scan/xray thing and actually ended up being diagnosed without anyone ever even looking in my mouth which I thought was super cool. The office is also nice and clean which got huge bonus points from me since I can be really sensitive to smells. The extraction took like 20 minutes total and I'm not going to say it was a walk in the park because- someone ripped my tooth out of my face but it actually was painless. Even the shots were so magically well done. One of the nurses/assistants (IDK what they are) told me at the start that she was going to put numbing agent where he would do the shots and just never came back so he did the shots without them and I literally couldn't feel them. I had just had a filling the week before and it felt like the dentist was shooting acid in my face so for Dr. Iero to be able to give me a shot IN THE ROOF OF MY MOUTH without any real discomfort was pretty impressive to me. He also walked me through what he was doing and explained what might happen. When my cap broke off I didn't panic because the doc had given me a heads up. And at the end they gave me a care package of things that I didn't even think to need. If I can give any advice to anyone seeing Dr. Iero though it would be- absolutely do not be late. On the day of the procedure Houston got some heavy rain and drivers were freaking out as they do so while I allowed myself 20 minutes of travel time for the 10 minute drive, I ended up being late and the doc was SUPER obvious about his annoyance. He wasn't angry as much as like disappointed parent mode and he mentioned it not once but twice. I also hate people who are late and I hate being late so I totally understood the annoyance but just allow yourself the extra time. I would still recommend him 10 out of 10 times because of how well he did. If you're that skilled you can be particular- those are the rules lol all in all this was a very positive experience given that i lost a tooth. I'll see him again in a few months for the rest of the process and if (god forbid) I have to get another extraction I will 100% come back to Bellaire facial, oral, and dental implant surgery.

I followed the esthetician's instructions carefully keeping the mask on for seven hours, staying out of the sun, and following all post-care guidelines. I began peeling on the third day, but the peeling was very minimal. In fact, I've had superficial peels in the past that produced stronger results. I was advised that if I had chemical peels before, I might not peel at all or only peel lightly. For context, my last chemical peel was in February of this year, and since then I've avoided active ingredients, using only a gentle cleanser and moisturizer. Once the minimal peeling subsided (mainly on my chin, slightly on my cheeks, and none on my forehead), I noticed no glow, and my hyperpigmentation remained. In fact, my forehead appeared darker. The peel literally did nothing for my skin except worsen some areas. This peel was NOT worth my money, let alone $1,600!! I'm sure the clinic would argue that I need to use the take-home kit for at least a month to see results. If that's the case, it would be far more cost-effective to see a dermatologist for a prescription skin-brightening cream or simply visit Sephora. I would like to add that the esthetician, Erica, was wonderful. This review is not a reflection of her work but rather of the product itself and the price charged for something that produced no results/making skin condition worse. I would also like to add that I broke out and was excessively red, even red a week after, so I had to stop using the take-home products. I do not recommend!

A huge piece of asphalt flew through the window & smashed my face. I had a broken nose, broken teeth, & my jaw was dislocated. The accident happened on our way to Dallas. I was in the passenger seat and the ambulance took me to the closest emergency room. My 4 year old daughter was in the back seat & is still dealing with the trauma of the experience. Thankfully I'm the only one who was physically hurt. The Doctors at the ER were pulling pieces of road off of my face and trying to stitch small cuts on my face. The whole experience happened very fast. I remember stopping them and saying I didn't want anyone touching my face except Dr. Mentz. I chose him several years prior & knew if I ever had any work done I only trusted Dr. Mentz. We called Dr. Mentz when we got home and his waitlist to see new patients was over 3 months. I was able to speak to his nurse and explained the urgency of my situation. Thankfully the nurse cleared a spot for me. Dr. Mentz was kind, caring, & exuded confidence & I immediately felt a calmness come over me. The damage to my face was so severe he asked for pictures of what I looked like prior to the accident. I was able to pull up some Facebook pictures that he studied for a long time. He then called in his nurse, started rambling off medical terms & instructions. He called an amazing cosmetic Dentist named Stryker Davis. Dr. Mentz explained my situation to Dr. Davis. He then immediately sent me to the cosmetic surgeon & dentist. Dr. Mentz explained it was necessary for me to see the Dentist first because of the trauma my face & mouth endured. And if the dental work was extensive it could affect what he needed to do to my face. I went to the Dentist & was treated like a rockstar. They saw me immediately, he did an examination then called Dr. Mentz & the two came up with a care plan for me. I was scheduled for plastic surgery on my face 2 days later. During my 2nd consultation with Dr Mentz he suggested we do some minor shaping on my nose. Honestly all I wanted was to be able to breathe again & feel normal. It took about 3 months for all of my swelling & pain to settle down. To this day I am so thankful I had it mentally together enough to stop the ER Doctors from working on my face. And of course I also wish I had taken Mentz's suggestion to sculpt my nose. It's on my list now & I plan on making a beeline to his office the moment I have everything in order (financially & time off work). Dr. Mentz is the best plastic surgeon in America! Do your research & you will see all of his before & after pictures. They're real people and his education is top notch! I highly recommend Dr. Mentz & have sent several friends to him. They were all very pleased with his work. I could argue that he probably saved my life! The procedure he did on my nose was one that he created. Weeks later friends & family could not believe the improvement of my face. Every day it got better. My whole family & I always pray for Dr. Mentz & his family and will continue to do so. This man/genius gave me so much that words could never express how grateful I am to him. If his waitlist is still months long go ahead & get on the list. You won't regret it! On that Monday I continued previous research for the surgeon that would best fit me. I found two: one of them Dr. Vitenas; the other, well that doesn't matter now. In inquired online. That morning, I got a call from the heavens, it seems; it was Javier. After telling him my story, he empathized and asked for some photos so that he could consult with Dr. Vitenas. I did and he did, because he asked me to come in that afternoon for a consultation with Dr. Vitenas. I had vacation planned and that fell through so the timing was perfect; as if the seas had opened up-- but it gets better. I arrive at the state-of-the-art facility which houses Dr. Vitenas operating room (OR) (let me tell you that OR is top notch!). The details matter, especially with any medical procedure where sharp objects are involved. The details are evident as I was greeted (first my Melanie on the 1st fl. Beauty Boutique) by Gary, who knew who I was and what I was there for. I finally met Javier in person and he seemed just as excited for me as I was to potentially get this procedure done. He informed me that some magic might have been a brewing because a cancellation had just come in. I met with Dr. Vitenas and without words, he seemed to already know the struggle I was living with and how he could help make this a turning point in my life. I was all-in. I discussed details with Javier and he revealed the opportunity of a lifetime; I could have the surgery the next day if I decided to proceed. And you bet I did. Next came the nurse consult with pre and post-op instructions. I met with Courtney who was also excited for me. She appeared youthful, but you could tell she could do this in her sleep, so the trust carried through to the staff I met that day. This is crucial because I must believe that I will be able to get back to work in a timely manner-- no work no pay in my profession. Fast forward-- I followed the instructions, got the surgery and I was back at work 2 days later and full tilt at the gym 3 weeks after. I left the tape on for that long and wore compression all day and night, I rested, ate well and I could not be more satisfied with the results. Dr. V is a pro. He cares about his product, and he most certainly delivers. If you're looking for surgeon who treats your results as a reflection of his work and passion, Dr Vitenas is your guy.

I had her remove the fat from under my chin on my neck, but she didn't do it right. They do very little for pain and that was one of the most painful experiences I've ever gone through. The medication they gave me, did nothing for pain. They could tell by the expression on my face, that I was in extreme but did not address the problem. They just kept working as I gripped the chair **hard**. In the end, I was left with a lopsided neck. We asked her about it, and she tried to do it again, but it didn't work. It remains lopsided. I also noticed a large red mark left on the front of my neck. Dr. Rodman said they had no idea what it was which made me question how much they really knew about doing this type of procedure. However, what never went away were all the bumps left near the bottom of my ears. I asked her if those would go away, she claimed they would. Nope, they sure don't! It's now harder to get my earrings in my pierced ears. After my husband had work done, she gave him a special skin cream to help smooth the skin. She never offered me the same and we're not sure why. My husband let me have the rest of his cream. They also said the loss of feeling could be a "possible side effect". It's not 'possible", it's very likely so prepared for that to happen. Like others mention, I too, noticed the staff wasn't that friendly. Especially after they sent me a email asking to rate them. At the point, I hadn't had the work done so I gave them a favorable rating. Once they got the rating they wanted, they were merely as polite as much as they felt they had to be, but not really friendly. Next time I get a doctor to rate, I'll wait until everything has been done, then respond. I wanted her to do other work besides my neck area but after what happened to my neck, I decided her office wasn't the place to do more work. I feel like those folks on that show "Botched" and wish there were doctors like them to fix what I was left with.
