The owners Sylvia and Ken are great people and it's a beautiful place with large sites right on the White River! The bath house is nothing too fancy and can be very cold depending on the time of year but it's decent. I love that they have a dumpster but also a ZeroSort recycling bin and even composters for food waste! The train does run pretty close by (and loudly) but not that often. The water pressure was good, they had lots of TV channels and decent WiFi but unfortunately no cell service (at least not AT&T)! Overall it's a great place and hard to beat for the money! read more

The place is beautiful and the common spaces are clean and well kept. However, some of the crowd at the campground made my non-white family know that we were not welcome there, and suggested on several occasions that it wasn't the right place for us... like traveling back in time to the eighteenth century. read more

I can say this everything is impeccable kept. The bathrooms are spotless, even after a busy holiday. The lawns couldn't be better kept. I'm here for the month of June and so far, this week it couldn't be quieter. Nice pool area. Nice roads to walk around with in the campground. In talking with Sylvia, they've not let some groups that were drinking and partying late in the night, using the lawn rather than the bathrooms so, while I don't know the past, I know the current and it's very, very well kept. Even the dogs are well behaved. It's off the main road, very quiet location, located behind an affordable housing park, everyone seems pretty nice. The owners couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating to me. It was an easy place to park my 1956 40' Mono coach camper. Neighbors all have really well-kept places and are quite friendly. Shopping in the village is just 2.5 miles away so if you want a pizza, Village Pizza is just around the corner...they have Dunkin' Donuts in town too. They are putting in new laundry machines this week. read more

This campground is now under new ownership. It's in the 4th season as such. I do not recommend it to anyone at this time. New owners have zero consistency on pool openings , often not at all. Grass is rarely , at best , mowed and overall grounds not cared for. They do nothing for the campers there as far as activities , aside from Saturday night bands. Constantly raising rates unjustified. I understand it if you're actually making improvement but there's none of that. Lastly there's several seasonal campers who've been there multiple years and because they publicly post opinions that donor align with the campground owners they're being asked to leave at the end of the season. Very unprofessional and depending on who you are whether or not the rules apply.v read more

Beautiful campground!! Seemed like it was mostly full time RVers, was quiet when we got in at 7 pm, and pretty much stayed quiet our entire stay. The fog rolled down the mountain every morning, it was so peaceful! The hiking trails were really pretty and super well maintained. The bathrooms/showers were so clean as well. If we find ourselves in the area again, we would most definitely come back!! read more
