First off, the clothing and jewelry in this store are such high quality!! There are pieces in this store that I'd never find anywhere else. There are some really unique artsy pieces (like a Frida Kahlo mural on a button-down dress shirt) and really comfortable normal clothes with a unique twist. After talking with the store owner I learned she works really hard to support artists all over the world (especially women designers.) She works directly with the designers to support them and sell their items in her store. This store is the oldest boutique in Piermont and her items are of far superior quality than the rest of the stores. There's a sales rack in the front and back of the store too in case people are looking for more affordable options. I saw some comments about people getting peeved that the store owner doesn't greet them right away when they walk into the store and ya'll need a reality check- this is one woman running an entire store operation front to back. When you come in and if you are looking for that one-on-one style advice, I'd recommend going up to her and saying hi and asking for help (and greeting her dog Lola too.) Her demeanor is honest, she will tell you what looks good and won't sell you something that looks bad. Some people are put off by such honesty but others love it. She's not going to pander to you to force a sale like the other stores which I appreciate. All in all, I love this store and will keep coming back every time I'm in Piermont. read more

I recently discovered this little gem of a shop in Piermont. The store provides a venue for new designers from around the world to showcase their clothes. I have discovered two new favorites; one is Rodika Zanian, a Parisian designer and Frau Blau from Isreal. The prices are not cheap, but neither is the quality of the hand made garments. This is truly a gem in Rockland County. read more

I love this cute little shop in Piermont. There is definitely a lot of unique pieces, and it's my favorite place to stop when I come to visit my family. Whenever I wear anything I always get compliments, and unfortunately they always get disappointed when I tell them it's a store in New York. I recently stopped at Abercorn Place , very impressed at the beautiful clothing and accessories displayed. It is not often I find a place where almost everything is interesting. However, I was underwhelmed by the brusqueness of the saleswoman in charge, and also disturbed that when another customer asked for an opinion on what she was trying on, it seemed that the saleswoman flattered her to make a sale and it was the wrong way to go. I did buy a garment, but when I tried it on at home, found a big hole in the sleeve that I had not noticed since I had tried it on with a shirt underneath of the same color. I live 3 hours away so could not return it, and hesitated to contact the store thinking of the attitude of the saleswoman. Let the buyer beware. read more

Im not a fan of giving shops a bad review but my visit to this store was AWFUL. I discovered this shop today while walking around the piermont area and lets just say my visit wasn't pleasant at all. When I first walked in the store I knew something was wrong because the boutique owner(or whoever worked in the store today) looked at my family and I like we were unwelcome and didnt even greet us when we walked through the door! Were we too poor looking to shop here? because Im pretty sure I could afford everything in that store. I looked around and saw the most beautiful clothes even though the prices were very high compared to all the other boutiques in the area. The clothes in the store were made by extremely talented designers from all over the world! Ok, enough about the clothes lets talk about how the customers were treated. Anyway, while I was looking around the store the owner kept staring at me and watched everything I did. I almost felt like she thought I was going to steal something. It has already been 20 minutes and the lady has yet to say a word to me or my family. I finally heard a peep from the store owner and it wasnt friendly. She told me the items I was looking at were sold which I can understand but her tone was extremely unpleasant and rude. It's such a shame that a store with such beautiful clothing was owned by a snobby person. I wrote down the names of some of the designers I liked so I could find another place to buy their clothing. I will probably never enter this store ever again! If you want to be treated like a human being visit the other amazing shops on this street the shop owners are extremely sweet! I'd avoid this one though. read more

Interesting merchandise, but poorly displayed and arranged, and the owner was horribly rude to my sister and me. (I later learned that she is notorious locally for this.) Skip this place and try Ki or Abigail Rose on the same block or any one of a number of shops in Nyack that feature equally unique clothing and jewelry designs. read more
