I am extremely pleased with the services Abe has done for me. He is capable of more than just tailoring suits. I have gotten a suit tailored and another time to get jeans tailored. Both times I had great service. During a recent ski trip, my snow pants zipper broke. I was unsure if this was something Abe could fix so I called and he told me to come in. I came in. He fixed the zipper in less than 10 minutes and added a preventative measure so the zipper doesn't break again. Very thankful for all your work! My daughter's maid of honor dress needed extensive alterations. The dress was two sizes too big and the V neckline was way too low. Because of the ruffles down the front and the seams, we were concerned how it could be done. She is petite, 5'3" so the dress also needed 6 inches removed from the bottom to be hemmed. Also a concern was to maintain the opening at the bottom of the dress. When Abe was done; the dress fit and looked like it had been especially made for her. Abe is professional and courteous. This review about events that happened 10 years ago. I had my daughter and niece getting married. Naturally, all my family needed several outfits, for all events. My husband, me, and my younger daughter. My husband, with help of his friend who is a member, bought an outfit for the wedding in Barron's and Abe did a perfect alteration, my husband look I needed several new dresses too, for several different events. For myself, and for my younger daughter. I also needed some alteration, because such clothing does not fit completely, when bought. I went to a place recommended by Yelp, and after that I had to throw out one dress, to my obvious shock. She put some patches under my armpits that she cut from the other place. I don't remember details but she butchered my daughter's dress too. We both also went to Abe and he was able to rescue our clothing, most of it. Recently, I bought a skirt that was too long and I remembered my experience. I went there and my skirt was cut to my size. I decided to share my experience. The place is also spacy, clean, and Abe is a very friendly person. I wholeheartedly recommend, if you need any alteration. read more

So thankful I found them! I had a strap to a newer backpack I purchased tear and was extremely frustrated. If I could give this place negative stars I would. 15 years ago I had some tailoring done here and it was mediocre. A salesman at a clothing store suggested I give Abe another try recently and unfortunately I did. I had 3 suits and 8 shirts tailored. Of the 3 suits, the hems fell on the slacks within 2 months. The shirts were the absolute worst tailoring experience of my life. It took 2 tries to get most of the sleeve lengths right and two shorts required a third try. When I picked them up the final time the fabric on two of the shirts had been cut and was frayed and overall all but three of the shirts were unwearable. Unfortunately I had paid the first time I picked them up and didn't realize they needed more work until I got home and tried them on. Despite the fact that 3 shirts were unwearable and two were destroyed, to the point that Abe said, "I can't fix these," Abe would not refund my money. He offered me a credit on my next tailoring - like I would ever go back to him. I took the shirts to the salesperson who talked me into giving Abe another try and e was so appalled he showed them to the owner of he store and both agreed it was the worst tailoring they'd ever seen. I did take the shirts to another tailor and he was able to salvage most of them, but every item I had tailored by Abe had to be re-tailored by someone else. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! read more
