Do not use this business. I called to fix my GE water dispenser. After several visits, Steve could not figure out how to fix the problem. So, he refuses to come back to fix, recuses to return phone & text messages, refuses to communicates. This is very disappointing to know he took service money without fixing the problem or communicating about it. I don't know how he sleeps at night knowing he treats customers in this manner. read more

I had an appointment scheduled to get my dryer looked at. The were able to diagnose the issue and fix it in a very timely manner. The gentleman that came out was very professional and had exceptional customer service skills. I will definitely use them in the future. read more

I cannot recommend this company. I called because my Bosch dishwasher quit heating up enough to dry the dishes and some of the dishes were still dirty when it was done. Steve came out and ordered a part for it. He was very prompt and polite. When the part came in, he came out to install it and was very prompt and polite again and I thought it was fixed. However it only worked for about 3 days and then started doing the same thing again. So he came out again to look at it and said this time he would need to order a new control panel for it. He was very prompt and polite at that visit as well and again when he came out for the fourth time to install that part. He said it worked and I guess he was just assuming that it worked because the dishwasher actually ran. But once again, the cycle took an unusually long time to run (like 6 hours for a normal load) and at the end of the cycle when I opened the dishwasher, it wasn't even warm on the inside. Nothing was dry and dishes were still dirty. So it was still not working. So we called him a fifth time but this time he did not respond to my call. My husband called him a couple times as well and then I texted him and he would not respond to either of us. I was very nice each time I left him a message and I had explained to him that I just wanted to know if we had any options. Like if there was any way he was able to send the parts back to his supplier and get a refund for them and if in his professional opinion, if we just needed to buy a new dishwasher. Considering we spent a total of $600 between the parts and his service fee, I feel like we were at least owed a call back. It's been several days now since our last voicemail to him so it is apparent that he is just not going to return our calls. If it hadn't been an $800 Bosch dishwasher I would have just went out and bought a new one but because this particular brand is so expensive and it's not very old, so I just figured that repairing it was the way to go. I was so wrong and I will never use this company again. I can understand if there is nothing else that he can do about this situation but it is completely unprofessional to not give us a call back. read more

My sewage line wasn't draining properly so I got bid from them. They used a camera (sophisticated) to explore the sewage line, which was about 60 ft from the fence line/alley. Guy said that it was old clay pipe that needed to be replaced for $7000. And they would have to replace it all the way to the city main, which would make Abilene the only city that allows anyone to work on their city mains. So just to check on what the city had which I figured was upgraded to pvc (it was) I dug down to the sewer line at the edge of the property. So I started digging down to the sewer line a couple of other places just to verify what the plumber claimed. It ended up only being clay about 10 ft on my property from the city's line. So if the guy had been honest and not tried to grossly exaggerated or pad the estimate he would have said replace the 10 feet of clay because he couldn't have missed it with the camera that he ran from the trap next to my house down toward the fence line. This is probably a common way that unscrupulous plumbers line their pockets. It took a day to dig up that 10 ft of clay and replace w pvc. Cost $89 for supplies. What a profit margin. The sad thing or maybe part of the scam was the fish (Christian) symbol on his truck.

I had a carpenter ant problem, and the first tech was great although he showed up pretty early. He was a very friendly and professional former member of the military. He seemed knowledgeable and told me to give the chemicals time to work but to call back if I still had ants. The price I was charged was somewhat higher than I was quoted but I was told they guarantee their work and would come back as many times as it took to take care of the problem. A few weeks go by and I call to let them know I still have the ants- they never left although I did find some dead ones for a few days. I was to,d they would come back to treat again. They called to cancel the initial appointment as my tech had a death in the family. I expressed sympathy and told them no problem. I rescheduled and then they called on the new day to change the time. I agreed to work with them and they sent a different tech out. He was courteous and went quickly about his work. Told me to give things time to take effect but let them know if I still have ants. A few weeks go by and I call to report that the ants are still not gone. I was told I would be charged again in full because my "warranty" had run out. I tried to explain that they never got rid of the ants but was told there was no way around having to pay another couple hundred bucks. My understanding of warranties is that you buy something and the warranty guarantees it for a set amount of time. I was under the impression that they would get rid of the ants and guarantee me they would stay gone for 3 months or whatever. I didn't get what I paid for to begin with so not comprehending why my warranty would be out. I'm thankful Lawrence Hall didn't declare the warranty on my truck expired before I got the truck! Two stars because they were courteous but I didn't get what I paid for and will now need to find a pest control company that can actually get rid of carpenter ants.
