Our Aunt and Uncle have been at the Gardens of GreenRidge for almost a year now and we are so…read morepleased to have found this caring home staffed with such competent people. Our Uncle is in the memory unit - he needs a higher level of care and the ability to be kept from wandering away. His wife is literally on the other side of a locked door, able to see him and visit with him at any hour of the day or night - but without the constant worry that he will fall or wander away when she is sleeping. It's a good solution that allows them to be together without worry. Our Aunt is quite mobile, active, and socially engaged. And although neither wanted to leave their home of 60 years, she is no longer lonely, and no longer worries constantly about the ability to care for her husband. When our Aunt took a fall, she was placed in the hospital care portion of the Gardens of GreenRidge next door, and received excellent physical therapy. She is now back up walking around and feeling great. She loves the weekly bath in the deep soaking tub (attended by staff member) and the in-home hair stylist appointment each week. She raves about the meals, and loves seeing so many people she knew from years ago with whom she had lost touch. My husband and I are very pleased that the staff welcomes our visits, never asks us to call ahead, and always seems happy to see us. The facility is brightly lit, well taken care of, and smells fresh. Our Aunt and Uncle have good things to say about everyone and about the facility itself. Yes, they miss living at home, but both seem less stressed and are adjusting to a new style of life. We feel so fortunate that my sister-in-law and her husband found this facility, made the arrangements to have our Aunt and Uncle accepted here, and have a peace of mind that our family is well taken care of. We highly recommend a visit. The only reason I did not rate it 5 star for activities is that I am not aware of any "outings" into the community to go shopping, etc. This would add additional costs, I am sure, but would be a nice bonus.

I came to Marworth for inpatient treatment for 30 days and stayed almost longer than anticipated,…read morethey never stressed me about finance they took care of everything, my story is relapse but this is the only place that explained the disease of addiction and you leave there with a toolbox, it's up to you what you do with those tools, addiction is serious and it takes work, faith and determination. They explained the beast that lives inside us that have this disease and once you feed it any substance it comes alive, I would urge anyone giving a bad review to sit still. in my head I'm healed but I am an addict one day at a time

I have been there in the past and it was the best place no complaints. Now 2025 I left after day 4 ... I tried to ignore the nurses talking about me and stay to help myself but I continued to hear other girls saying how the nurses talk about patients calling them by the drug they use ex. (Methhead) ... It seems there was a lot of patients that had to be there because court order which is fine. It just seemed they did not seem to take it seriously and seemed to be more likely to use again once out. I went in on my own to actually help myself. It was very chaotic and overwhelming and I also felt somewhat scared not for help but because of some of the girls. I felt they wanted chaos and drama. It felt more like a mental institution. Or jail house. There was some really lovely girls who did want the help. There were just so many things that happened in 4 days that made me feel unwelcomed and uncomfortable. Yes I know it's uncomfortable at start but this was different. I also wanted to see the doctor to help me with stretch I can do for a possible pinched nerve. I felt ignored or maybe they thought I just wanted drugs. Btw I am an alcoholic also have trouble taking pills from ptsd. I don't take Tylenol unless I'm really hurting. I am so upset from this experience this time around. I am so sorry for anyone else that has or will feel like this by Marworth. The lectures where great though. I am thankful to have heard some messages before I left. I am very thankful for that

She sits at the nurses station from morning till night with other residents. They just sit there.no tv or window to look out. My mom has bruises and sores. She sits in soiled diapers for long periods of time so often she soils through her clothes. When we ring her buzzer the aids go up and down the hall and pass her room. When we tell them she has to go to the bathroom they tell us she doesnt have to go or she just went. The staff is lazy.my mother gets terrible car. we want to transfer her to a better facility but unfortunately our other sister won't allow it. If you care about your family member Greenridge Care Center is not for you. My advice is to stay away! The director and social worker are no help. They are poor business people. This has been my experience with this care center.

They would know this how?? So I am reposting my original review of ACTUAL experience with this hell hole. If I could rate it any worse I would. Skilled nursing is a joke. No information relayed to family regarding changing conditions nor medications. Patient left in the same clothes for 4 days although their records indicate a bath was given- seems odd they would put dirty clothes back on a patient after bathing..... Patient allowed to deteriorate and it was only due to family intervention patient was removed to hospital with CHF.

She was supposed to go to Allied to get PT, but she left a complete invalid. Not sure if any companies are better, but Allied was awful in every way. They have one social worker trying to handle over 100 patients. Nurses are caring, but entire system is broken. No doctor involvement, no oversight, no communication at all. After they milked our insurance to the max, they gave us 3 days notice to remove her and sent her home with no hospital bed, no gear, no nursing services (all of which they were supposed to handle through Geisinger insurance). They then ensured they delayed the delivery of the bed and ambulance to be about to add $2440 in charges completely out of pocket. My mom is failing and now in hospice, and I hold Allied mainly responsible. Go somewhere else.
