When the doctor finally walks in, he's already rushing you out the door, saying he has "other patients to see." I came in with five things to discuss--legitimate concerns, not small talk. By the time I got to concern #2, he was already pushing me to wrap it up. I politely pointed out that if I could wait an hour for him, he could wait five minutes for me. That didn't sit well with him. From that moment on, everything I said felt completely dismissed. This wasn't just one bad visit--it felt like a pattern of rushed, impersonal, and dismissive care. And based on other reviews, I'm not alone in that experience. So, if you enjoy long wait times, rushed visits, and a doctor who seems uninterested in what you have to say, this is the place for you. But if you prefer a doctor who listens and takes your concerns seriously, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. As for me? My wife and I both adore this kind gentle experienced and knowledgeable medical doctor. He says what he knows and he knows what he says. He has expertly cared for my entire family since 2018 and even after our move we will drive the 45 minutes for him. He DOES NOT just treat you, he heals you with I er to+ years experience and has NEVER had a bad review of mad or even a blemish on his record. He is a great man and an even better doctor. Made my heart hurt when I looked here right now and seen somebody complaining about the service at this office and had the nerve to mention Dr shalaby when Dr shalaby has NEVER had a negative thing to say. I had my initial appointment I was brought back and waited for 45-50 minutes before the PA came for my appointment. That's far too long of a wait time for a first visit. Nothing about the appointment or office was remotely holistic, it's all western medicine. I was told that I didn't have a co-pay, but turns out they were incorrect and now have a bill from them (just wish they wouldn't have lied to me about this.) The appointment wasn't even for a physical, it was only "establishing care" as they call it. I had x-rays done and I had a follow-up appointment scheduled, the x-rays came back normal so I cancelled the appointment because it seems that they are money grabbing and trying to schedule unnecessary appointments in order to bill insurance. In my experience most offices will have the Dr or PA call you with results, especially when they are normal. Save yourself the time and money and find a different primary care office. Please don't advertise as being a holistic Medical office when that's clearly not what your office does.

Unfortunately, my post-surgery experience has been made extremely stressful due to the office staff and management. When my EDD paperwork was first submitted, the staff only gave me two weeks off work, even though the doctor clearly stated I needed six weeks due to lifting restrictions. After multiple calls, I finally spoke with Julie, who was rude, argumentative, and dismissive. She even said sarcastically, "Fine, I'll give you six weeks off," which is completely unprofessional. I later spoke with Emily, the office manager, who apologized, but Julie's poor attitude continued. Despite Emily's assurance that she would personally handle any future issues, she never returned my follow-up calls. Since then, communication has been inconsistent. Some emails were answered, but usually with short, unhelpful replies, and many others went unanswered altogether. Each visit I've made to the office has been met with cold or dismissive attitudes. Even when my doctor extended my recovery another two weeks, Emily questioned it inappropriately in front of other staff. I've had to show up in person multiple times just to get updates, only to be brushed off again. The doctor and PAs are wonderful, but the back office is disorganized, unprofessional, and lacking empathy. I've felt ignored and unsupported -- especially regarding time-sensitive EDD paperwork that directly impacts my income. It's unfortunate because Dr. Schultzel deserves better representation from his staff. Patients shouldn't have to fight this hard for basic communication and follow-up care. Edit: I split the difference and gave 3 stars. I have no issue with Dr Schultzel. It's sad I had to place a review to actually have someone try to call me or respond to the issues at hand.
