He had come to me by a recommendation from Pinch n Penny pool store. Jack did not show up but he sent a worker over to look at the problem. He fixed the problem but in the process created another when he broke the cover to my main drain by blowing compressed air into the pipe to "clear any debris" there was not anything stuck in the line and the only thing he managed to do was blow off my cover from the inside. I honestly was not adamant that he fix it on the spot since my concern was the vac. This was a mistake I realized because after he took my money he said: "I'll put my number on the invoice and I'll come back if you need me to put the cover back on. If you need me to just call me later in the week." and he was off with my money. I soon realized that the vac was getting stuck in the open drain now that he had broken the cover off. I texted him and he said he'd be out later in the week and never arrived, then he ignored my next 3 text messages over a few days. After calling a few times as well I called Jack again and explained the issue and lack of communication. He said in a text that "he" meaning Jack, would be over to fix it in a day or two. Two days later the same worker shows up with a very hostile and unprofessional attitude. This guy showed up on my property and starts harassing me about calling his boss. Then he starts yelling and claims that I was supposed to have bought a new cover myself. So I confronted him about the fact that he broke the cover in the first place and he lied on the spot of course and claimed that he didn't break it even though I saw it happen. I will not have some service working speaking to me like that in my house and I told him to "go and just get the hell out of here, and not to ever come back on my property." When I messaged Jack at the owner his only reply was "Have a Nice Day." I texted him a few more times and he will not reply. No wonder his workers behave the way they do. They learned it from daddy.

I am a review nut and found Blue Magic Pools in Coral Springs , I phoned and Serge made an appointment that afternoon. We received a very fair quote but I was really impressed with his honesty and knowledge. We wanted to add a marble coping and he allowed us to go to his wholesaler to select a gorgeous marble, the selection was incredible. While they are very friendly, we became frustrated with the different crews showing up each week-- they left the gate open multiple times causing our dog to get out (despite signs and repeated reminders), and never clean the salt water system filter even after we showed it to them. This went on for about 9 months I would guess. The final straw was when they showed up to clean the pool while there was a painting crew present two weeks ago. They told the painters they would come back later but never returned. When we followed up with the office a few days later about when they were returning we were told they had already cleaned the pool, and provided us a photo as supporting evidence. I'm not sure who is responsible for that lie, however, we have two cameras pointed at our pool AND our gate monitoring company sends us texts every time someone on our list enters the neighborhood. Not to mention the pool was still visibly dirty with lots of leaves and debris. We moved on to a different company, it simply wasn't worth the hassle.

Our experience with Deck and Drive (D&D construction) has been extremely disappointing. From the…read morestart, the work was full of mistakes, poor workmanship, and almost no communication. Pavers were installed in the wrong direction and wrong colors, the walkway was placed incorrectly, cement was left exposed, no underlayment was installed under the sand (so now we have weeds growing up through our pavers), and then they even installed pavers over an active sprinkler head. They repeatedly missed appointments, sent crews during all-day rain (so no work could be done on those days), and ignored our requests for basic protection around our home. Before D&D even started our project, they told our finance company it was "substantially complete," and they tried to collect full payment. Then later, despite the project being nowhere near complete, D&D again told our finance company it was "substantially complete" and tried to collect full payment. Due to the lack of progress, the quality concerns, and D&D's refusal to provide a corrective plan in writing, we no longer felt comfortable allowing them to continue. In response, D&D placed a lien on our home and threatened foreclosure. To protect ourselves, we felt forced into having to hire an attorney to try to rectify all the issues. We have now been in this lawsuit for well over a year, with pallets and sand still blocking our driveway, and our front entrance is still not fully usable. Based on our experience, we can not recommend Deck and Drive (D&D Construction). This review doesn't even represent all of the issues we have with D&D in regard to our project. There are so many issues, we can't even write them all in this review. Instead of addressing legitimate concerns and correcting their mistakes, they chose to pressure, misrepresent progress, and ultimately sue and threaten to foreclose on their customers. We are not the only customers to be involved in a lawsuit against D&D. We are #5.
