It made it easy to manage the project from end to end, stay informed, review decisions, and keep everything organized in one place. The design phase did take some time, but it was time very well spent. Once we finalized the design, everything moved at a great pace, and the execution was smooth and well coordinated. This was actually my second project with H&C Construction this year, and I am once again very pleased with the results. The fact that I chose to work with them a second time says a lot about my confidence in their team and the quality of their work. I would highly recommend H&C Construction to anyone considering a kitchen remodel. We had two bathroom remodels done in our Takoma D.C. condo in October/November of 2019. Mason's team are highly skilled at their trade. The drywall work was exceptional!. His crew is respectful, punctual, and we felt comfortable having them in our home for several weeks. Mason took care of everything and was quick to respond if we had questions. We had a significant amount of tile work done and it turned out great. We couldn't be happier with our new bathrooms and glad we went with Mason. We would typically text with Mason throughout the project but he was always available by phone if needed. He also stopped by the project several times to check on the work and oversee the project. The bathroom remodels required complete demolition, relocation of plumbing, and framing. Mason is a great project manager and handles all the finer details and project timeline. He offered suggestions as the project moved along, and was sure to get input from us before he made any changes. While we chose the materials I'm sure his team could offer design ideas that would work well with any project. After seeing the completed product I would certainly use Sino-American for future projects and would recommend them to anyone. After several unsuccessful attempts to find someone knowledgeable and reliable to complete our home, we were lucky to find Alex and his team. Alex was very responsive to texts, email, or calls with any questions or concerns. He came by every day to check in as the scope of work was extensive. His team demo'ed a wall and replaced the handrails, stair treads, risers, and balusters on our both of our staircases. After 12 full days of work, we finally achieved the look and finish we wanted! From the start, Tile Center made this piece of our process easy and pleasant, and we love the outcome. As project manager, Joe was incredibly helpful and easy to communicate with. He came to our house very quickly after our initial outreach, returned later with grout samples, and walked us through options at the showroom. He always responded quickly to emails and texts. He helped us navigate tile shortages and advised us when we needed to order from a third party. Thomas, the installer, was also fantastic. His work is beautiful, and on top of that, he was just incredibly lovely to be around. He not only tolerated, but was awesomely kind to, our very loud and unhelpful dog! He also went above and beyond dealing with various issues that arose. James, who came on one of the days, was also great. On top of everything else, we really appreciated how both Joe and Thomas worked things out so that we could live in the house throughout the installation. That was really helpful as far as both hassle and the potential extra cost of lodging. We got porcelain wood-look tiles, and we really like the outcome (see picture). 100% recommend.
