I found George on Home Advisors, he was extremely responsive. He and his team arrived when he said they would. They installed a backsplash in my kitchen and new tile in my powder room. We had a bathroom renovation disaster last year, and it took that long to find a reliable contractor that was willing to take on the challenge of cleaning up the mess of the first contractor, who made all kinds of mistakes, took 5 weeks, and basically did a terrible job of all the tiling. The bathroom looked terrible. George and his crew came in and built us the bathroom we were hoping for the first time. Hired George to rebuild and replace a tile shower and to do some painting. His crew of very polite and clean workmen were extremely punctual and cooperative. Work was done as well as I could possibly have hoped and completed in a reasonable time. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE The boss guy George seems polite and sales oriented.....But wait, sign the contract and that all changes...He was rude, swearing at me more than once and his men don/t have a clue what they are doing. They did NONE of what the contract called for. They threw things away like closet doors and fixtures that were to go back in. Contract called for 2 coats on everything. They barely did one. And that was only in some places. They didn't paint the window sills, for one. George got upset that they took longer than he thought they should so he started yelling at me that I was costing him money. Two days later, he called me and said they were finished and wanted a walk through and when I said they were not done He went ballistic. He got in my space swearing and waving his hands and his book in my face and threatening me. I asked to calm down or I would call the Police and he got worse and I did have to call the Police to remove him after I ran out of my own property. I was afraid he was going to hit me. They got paint all over everything. My hard wood floors, my cabinets ...etc....This guy is a hothead and dangerous. Wish I has seen some of his reviews before I hired him,,,,Be VERY VERY CAREFUL!! They did none of the ceilings as called for and the one they did had the wrong color. He also replaced some deck rails. They were badly damaged and he didnt waterproof as called for in the contract. I could go on and on and on....I do not know what the positives are and who posted them but they are either dishonest or just lucky read more

My wife called this company because a friend had used them. The boss George comes out and negotiates the deal and he is as sweet as pie... at first. We pay a third down and all the materials for 2 bathrooms and a kitchen remodel. The drama then begins. George tries to force us to pay him in cash, when we have already discussed that we were paying by credit. He then says he wants us to pay HIS fees. He pulls out a Square and cannot use it. He does not even know how to calculate percentages so we do it for him. I intervene, but we get into a shouting match. The workers (subcontractors) arrive and they do good work, but we cannot communicate directly because most of them do not speak English. The crew chief Carlos does his best to meet our needs. I give him props for being a professional. Back to George... He comes to pick up the second installment and again we do the payment method tango. My wife does something she never does and gets him cash to save us paying his fees. We were able to stay home for a few days but eventually we have to go to work to pay for this you know. The first day we are not there to watch them, they leave our house wide open. Hoping the project will end soon we decide to take more time off work to secure our home. At the end the work is done, but there are certain things left undone. They did not clean up behind themselves, they left industrial trash on the side of our house instead of taking it with them,. We made George get it when he came for the remainder of his money. I had to make adjustments myself such as no hot water (removing and adjusting valves). I wish I could give you the name of the contractors he uses because I have no beef with them. George is the unprofessional one and he does business in a raggedy way. He gets a 1 and the crew gets a 3 (can't forgive leaving the house open after they left for the day). read more
