We called all over the Valley to find a company that would help us lift our old refrigerator out of our kitchen and lift our new one in (we bought a new fridge and learned that it wouldn't fit through the doorways--it had to go over the kitchen island). No takers after several attempts. Then, I stumbled on About Integrity Movers. They responded quickly to my request for a quote and were able to get to my house within a couple of hours. Charles, Matt, and Daniel showed up ready to work!! They quickly removed the old fridge and installed the new one. They were prompt, professional, and very friendly. On January 13, 2014, my husband and I hired the aforementioned moving company to move our furniture on January 18, 2014. According to our contract, two movers were supposed to show up between 7-9AM; after multiple failed attempts in trying to contact the company, we finally received a phone call from the owner, Trevel Randolph, around 9:30AM indicating that the driver called in sick and he was sourcing another driver. Two men finally showed up shortly after 11AM. As noted in the contract, we hired About Integrity Movers to move the following pieces of furniture: three couches, two beds, two dressers w/mirrors, three nightstands, two dining room tables, one desk and a refrigerator. The contract also included 20-30 boxes; however, due to their delay these had already been moved by us. While we were quoted that this would take 5-7 hours, it ended up taking closer to 12 hours. By the time the furniture was nearly all finished being loaded in the trailer, we pointed out that they inadvertently left a mattress, foot board to a bed and refrigerator behind; thus, resulting in a second, return trip. It should be noted that it took them over an hour to commute from the new place of residence back to the old place of residence; they somehow ended up on the opposite side of town. When they got to the new place of residence and began to unload the furniture, almost every piece of furniture was damaged in some way shape or form. It should be noted that the majority of the furniture was ~six years old; however, it had never been moved, it was purchased directly from the furniture store, Ashley's, and installed by the furniture company in the previous place of residence. The front loader washing machine and dryer both have damage; the dryer has a massive dent and scrape mark that is ~two inches wide by eight inches long. These were also purchased directly from Ashley's, delivered and installed by Ashley's ~18 months ago. Two couches that were positioned in the formal living room have damage all across the wood detailing and the leather back is indented and scraped due to the positioning in the truck. A leather sectional that was purchased in October 2013 has a hole in the back as well as the leather being rubbed down on the corners; again, probably due to the way it was loaded in the truck. The bed rails for the master and guest bed have chips of wood missing throughout. The wood detailing on the master bedroom dresser has been scraped off. A leg on the guest bedroom dresser could not be re-screwed as it was broken. The desk has chips all across one edge of the wood and the top drawer is broken with a hole on the bottom. In addition, when they were installing the refrigerator, a chunk was taken out of our 8ft tall garage door. Pictures were taken that evening to record the damage. Multiple attempts were made to have the owner come out and personally document and photograph the damage; he finally came out on February 1, 2014. The owner admitted on the phone that the truck's air suspension went out that day which probably was a result for all of this damage as the amount of damage we had experienced is not normal. A claim was supposedly filed with his insurance broker on February 2, 2014; however, again, multiple attempts have been made to inquire about the name and contact information of the insurance broker and/or company but this information has yet to be provided. We have been told that we will need to provide proof of purchase for the expensive items; however, this is not possible as it was purchased ~six years ago. If a manual of the furniture will suffice then, that can be provided. Proof of purchase for the washer/dryer is also not available as these were wedding gifts. We have also been told by the owner that in most instances they will send a mobile company out to repair the, in their opinion, "minor" wood damage and the major damage would need to be sent out for repairs. Again, the insurance agent and company has yet to contact us and the owner is somewhat unresponsive to our follow up. After two years this remains unresolved, even when our insurance company has made numerous attempts to contact the owner. Both Trevel and his pathetic excuse of a moving company should be put out of business! I urge anyone and everyone not to use this company! In response to my formal complaint with the BBB, I am sure their positive reviews were added by nothing but fictitious people to make themselves look better..there is obviously a reason that they have not responded to the attorney's from our insurance company nor did they respond to the BBB! read more
