After I made this post, the Owner reached out to me asking if he could make good on the insurance payout. He paid $300 out of the $1600. We agreed on and I haven't heard a word from him since also to make the matter even more exciting my king size bed that got broken from being wedged through doorways and down hallways and had sustained a crack along the side support finally completely cracked and broke off so now I nearly new hardwood king size bed is ruined updated picture below. It is unfortunate that your actions caused you to lose your business. You could've paid and honored your own contract. We gave you months and months and months and you never did. My experience with Marc Anthony and Simpson Family Moving was unfortunately disappointing. To begin, the company does not own its own moving trucks and relies on renting vehicles from U-Haul. On the day of my move, the movers arrived over an hour late due to issues securing a U-Haul truck. The move itself involved a standard three-bedroom home with a two-car garage. My belongings were typical--basic furniture in each room, kitchen items, boxes in the garage (with ample space left for my car), and a few backyard items. I made it clear to Marc Anthony that I had three pieces of antique and sentimental furniture. He assured me that all items would be carefully wrapped and handled with utmost care. Despite these assurances, the move took more than nine hours. While I understand it was a hot day, the movers arrived unprepared for the weather, lacked basic supplies such as water, and took frequent breaks. My family provided beverages to help them stay hydrated. Unfortunately, several items were damaged during the move: The top of my dining table was dropped and scratched on the top and sides. A refrigerator shelf was broken. My brand new epoxy garage floor was scratched due to furniture being dragged, rather than moved with a dolly. A brand new white dresser was drug across the U-haul creating black scuff marks on the bottom of the legs. Most concerning, an antique armoire--an important family heirloom--was dropped off the truck's ramp onto concrete, resulting in significant structural and cosmetic damage. I immediately communicated my concerns to Marc Anthony, who visited my home and promised to arrange for repairs and restoration of the armoire. Despite ongoing follow-up and specific promises made both verbally and via text message, more than a month has passed with no resolution. I later learned directly from local restoration companies that they were not working with Simpson Family Moving, despite Marc Anthony's claims. Now, after all the delays, Marc Anthony has stated that his insurance will only cover $0.60 per pound for damages, estimating reimbursement for the armoire at just $150--far below the actual cost of restoration. He also claims this information is outlined in his initial quote, but I have confirmed that it is NOT. In summary: If you have items of value or sentimental importance, please be aware that Marc Anthony and Simpson Family Moving's compensation for damaged belongings is minimal, and their commitment to customer service and follow-through has been lacking in my experience. Be aware: other insurance was not offered to me at any point nor should you have to be concerned about a moving company not having adequate insurance to cover these types of situations. Just be very cautious and ASK for full coverage insurance when you use Simpson family moving because his employees were very careless. read more

My experience with Marc Anthony and Simpson Family Moving was disappointing. I used this Simpson to move items from a 10x10 storage unit to another same size unit 10 miles away. This was a straightforward move. No stairs, elevators or other complications. When I received my final invoice it was significantly higher than their competitors. In speaking with management, I was told our company is focused on profit. When compared to their competitors, they bring substandard equipment to the project that lengthens the duration of the move to increase their hourly rate. No lift gate, minimal blankets, a small roll of stretch wrap, no broom for minor clean-up. Don't make the mistake I made using them. There are much better companies for less money! read more

MAJOR DAMAGE WAS DONE FROM CARELESS HANDLING OF OUR FURNITURE! My Wife and I hired Simpson Family Moving on February 9th of this year. First, they were late and Marc Anthonys excuse is that He had to pick up a moving truck from Penske. This concerned me that they didn't own their own moving truck. This raised red flags for us right away. When I initially spoke to Marc Anthony I was suppose to have four movers. When He arrived with his crew He only had two plus Marc Anthony. He was short one crew member. His excuse was that this person was not available when I needed that extra mover to move us out of a three bedroom, two story, two car garage house into three storage units. When they arrived My Wife gave Marc Anthony specific instructions Not to take any of the furniture apart but only the sectional and the bed. She asked them Not to turn any furniture upside down and Marc agreed. My Wife asked that they wrap my Wife's gold and diamond bedroom set in blankets and all the glass furniture. None of the furniture was wrapped. My Wife's gold and diamond night stand was thrown on top of the other nightstand upside down and unwrapped into the storage unit. Marc Anthony took apart all her dressers and disassembled the dinette table that my Wife asked Not to disassemble it after He asked her if he could. My Wife again said no you cannot disassemble the dinette table. He blew my Wife off and did it anyways. As a result he rolled the table on the ground and now all the edges of the table are chewed up and damaged! Then Marc shoved the front of one dresser into my Wifes beautiful gold diamond dresser that she specifically asked to be wrapped so that it would Not get damaged. She asked that it would remained wrapped in storage. All the blankets that were suppose to be protecting my Wifes gold diamond dressers and the glass tables were sitting in a pile on the ground. They completely blew off my Wifes specific instructions and the dresser with the brass knobs was shoved up against my Wifes beautiful gold diamond dresser which caused significant damage to the front of her dresser. There are scratches and dents to her dresser as well. We called Marc Anthony and made him aware that one dresser was shoved up against my Wifes dresser that remains uncovered. We asked Marc to come and rearrange the damages to move the dresser away from the other dresser that is causing damage to the other dresser. We also needed to access all of the damage he did to our furniture. We can see that the damage is significant. We want to be compensated for the damage but the liability we signed off for was 60 cents per pound. Yet, he will not face the consequences of his and his crews CARELESS move as he is avoiding our calls! He told my Wife that He will have to get back to her because He said he needs to schedule his guys to go to our storage units. Marc said he will schedule his movers to be out there tomorrow. Tomorrow came and went. This was six weeks ago and we've tried to contact him several times but he avoids our calls everytime and we get stuck with his AI response! We are afraid to see what the rest of our possessions look like. They moved us from our house into three storage units. I also wanted to mention that we started with the movers at 2pm and the process took over 7 1/2 hours. They rushed our move towards the very end as they were very careless and frustrated because Marc said he had until 10 pm to return the truck to Penske or they would be locked out and charged for an additional day truck rental. Marc Anthony was very irritated and was complaining that He needed to be back by 10pm to return the truck as a result his crew just threw our furniture in the storage units which caused a majority of the damage to our furniture! My Wife and I will be pursuing legal action against their company as a result of their blatant negligence and disregard for our possessions. My Wife and I regret hiring Marc Anthony Simpson Family Moving and hope people read this review before hiring them! They were able to move heavy furniture from my two story home into a truck so quickly. And then moved and organized the furniture and boxes into my second level storage. I finally found Simpson Family Movers and spoke with Mark Anthony. He said he was in the process of moving someone else and could get to me no later then 2pm. He showed up at 10am!! So these two affable, polite and professional gentlemen moved my apartment in 3 hours! They did an excellent job. The very best moving experience I've ever had. They texted at (2:39 am) saying one of the workers could not show up in the morning so they couldn't make it; who does that at 2:30 in the morning?
