But was told; it is not the battery, It need new movement. Did not believe this at all. Went for second opinion. He changed the battery and the watch runs perfectly. Do not try to make money. the way you tried with me. People are not stupid and what you did was not the smartest thing to do. Shame on you. read more

Simply the best service and quality around. These guys have been doing watches, clocks and all manner of timepieces for decades now. They completely repaired my grandfather clock that had been deemed "unrepairable" by another shoppe. They are honest and will always tell you what needs to be done, what could be done - and most importantly what should be done. If they ever close or retire, North County will lose a legendary institution. read more

Best place to get your watch battery changed! I walked in at 3:10 and was out of there by 3:15! One new watch battery installed for $7! It's cash only. I wanted to give a tip & they wouldn't accept it! It's a family-owned and has been around forever! My husband said he went awhile ago and forgot it was cash only. The owner said to pay the next time he came in. This is amazing customer service! read more

I cannot say enough good things about Timekeers, they have been around for years doing great work. My mother had them rebuild her father's Grandfather clock about 25 years ago and it's still keeping the time and date. I can't count the number of watches of mine they have worked on over the years. Time keeps is an Encinitas treasure, don't go anywhere else. read more

I've been stopping in for over 10 years to get my watches fixed, new batteries, and polish and shine. The nicest, easy going gentlemen you would ever want to deal with. It's like old-fashioned service, courtesy, and if it keeps time, these guys know it, have worked on it, or even restored it a time or too. I had a very old (over 100 years old) Russian clock that was my grandmother's. It had not worked in nearly 50 years but I kept it for sentimental reasons. Decided to bring it in to see if they could fix it. The gentleman who helped me acted like it was no big deal which made me feel great! I picked it up a week later and it was working perfectly. They removed the rusted old mechanism and replaced it with modern mechanism. It still looks the way it did but now it works perfectly! I'll be bringing all my watches and clocks here from now on. Amazing service and job well done! read more
