We hold three meetings a year for 200-300 people. This is the first time we used Above All Catering. A few months back we hosted a fundraiser for Help Me Grow in our retail showroom. I have to say, they had all the qualities I really appreciate in a catering service. First, they were all professional, friendly and organized. Fernando Licea and his team Fernando Ramirez and Valery Moreno all circulated well and were available to all the guest during the evenings festivities. They didn't infringe upon the space for their set up and prep. I don't know how they made so much food in such a small space! Hello! My name is Alijah Gunsaulus and I work for Boutique Event Planning. I had the wonderful privilege of working with this company and staff at a wedding at Marina Park this past Saturday. I was so pleased by all of their hard work and how they constantly went above and beyond to make sure my staff and I were taken care of. The Lead of the event, Fernando, was so helpful and extremely hands on. He communicated with me throughout the night and made sure the staff knew exactly where and what they were supposed to be doing. If I needed anything during the event, he was the first one to help me out. Tanya, the second lead, also went above and beyond. She stayed on top of details and had the most positive attitude. You can tell that she loves what she does and that she does a great job of leading by example. My staff consistently commented on Tanya's work ethic and loved how she was always willing to give us an extra hand. The All Above servers had such a positive attitude and did anything and everything I asked them to do. They worked well together and made sure that all guests were taken care of through out the night. Along with the leads and servers, your Chef and Chef's assistants made sure food was timely, hot and tasted absolutely amazing. All throughout the night guests were raving about their meals, as well as giving compliments about the staff. Lastly,Christine was my right hand woman throughout this entire process.The day of the wedding she made sure everyone was where they needed to be, answered our last questions and communicated any and all details. I am so happy to have had the privilege to work with Christine and hope that I will be able to work with her again in the near future. We have used AACI for our holiday party for the past 4 years...so you can see they work for us. The Maggie and Kimberly have been through and supportive on the planning end. And Fernando Licea has taken care of us from the start with Fernando Ramirez for the past 3 dinners. Let me say...we feel so taken care of! I don't have to do anything but have the house ready...they remember year to year what I like and where things are. They are friendly and supportive with our guests, accommodating with any special requests and fun to have. My office had a department meeting today for about 75 people and used Above All Catering. Typically for team meetings, we will get food from our local Mexican restaurant, so it was a pleasant surprise to see something new being set up today. The food smelled great and everyone was looking forward to lunchtime! It wasn't until the covers came off of the warming trays that disappointment set in. The choices that we were presented with weren't great, but that is not the caterer's fault since they didn't set the menu. There was a mixed greens salad, dinner rolls, cous cous with mushrooms, and tri colored pasta with chopped up sausage and peppers, and cookies. The salad was the best tasting of the lunch items, and if I could have made a meal out of cookies alone, I would have. The pasta was overcooked and mushy, and the sausage in it tasted more like a cross between kielbasa and hot dogs. It was very strange and I could only stomach a few bites before I was done with it. I passed on the cous cous because I am allergic to mushrooms, but based on how much was left in the tray when lunch was over, it didn't seem like many other people were into it either. The dinner rolls tasted like something that would be part of a cheap school lunch, and they were bordering on the stale side. Overall, I was extremely disappointed by this meal. A bunch of my coworkers ended up going out and picking up some sandwiches at the supermarket deli for our side of the office because this meal just didn't do it. read more

We used Above All Catering this past Saturday the 17th for my Dad's 70th b day party. I did not know anyone that had used this company before, I took a chance only going by the yelp reviews and you guys did not disappoint. I worked with Morgan as our Rep in the office, she kept in contact with me and was on top of things, I was grateful for all she did for us. The prices are hard to beat 13.95 a person and we had roasted turkey breast with gravy, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, mixed sauteed veggies, salad with ranch or italian dressing and rolls and butter. It was so delicious everyone had seconds and thirds and we had plenty of leftovers to take home. Our server who came was Jair, he was awesome and very friendly and professional. He also picked up our plates after we ate which we were not expecting which was awesome. He also had containers for us to take all the leftovers. My only thing I was kinda bummed about is that they ran out of ranch dressing. Their ranch dressing is so good, I am pretty picky about ranch dressing but it was good and I wished they had more. I would absolutely recommend this caterer and will use them in the future. Sorry so long! read more

I recently attended a birthday party catered by Above All Catering and it was FABULOUS! The food was fresh (I helped myself to more jumbo shrimp cocktail than I care to admit) and the staff was courteous and helpful. They served the most delicious peppercorn tri-tip and even had breaded chicken breasts and homemade mac n cheese for the kids. The fruit kabobs were super fresh and super yummy. Presentation was beautiful. The menu also included grilled chicken cacciatore and fire roasted tomato rice pilaf. I have to say the dessert was THE BEST!! They served these bite-sized mini lemon meringue tarts, cheesecakes, lemon bars and brownie bites. Again, I ate too many of these delicious treats. I actually got to meet Gary, the owner of the company. He was really nice and friendly and anxious to talk foodie-shop, obviously very knowledgeable about everything that was being served. Above All catered our wedding last week and they performed above all of our expectations. Morgan who helped plan and set up our important day was fantastic. The staff of Fernando, Juan, Melissa, Nicole and Steve was outstanding. They were on top of everything, from serving dinner, assisting guest, clean up and just plain jumping in and doing whatever they could to make our special day wonderful. We had a large crowd in a small place and the staff was getting folks drinks, serving dinners to individuals who had physical difficulties getting to the buffet area, and making sure they could do anything we may have needed. We expected basic service and received service well above and beyond what we agreed on.
