My husband and I had been living in Arizona for the past eight months while our home in San Clemente was being renovated. The project was supposed to be finished in January, giving me six months to plan our intimate Fourth of July patio wedding. Instead, the renovation wasn't completed until mid-June, leaving me with just two weeks to plan everything. What were the chances of finding a caterer - let alone an exceptional one - with only two weeks' notice on one of the busiest holidays of the year? Thankfully, Taylor Made Cuisine came to the rescue! From the very beginning, the ordering process was seamless, organized, and completely stress-free. They made everything so easy during a time when I was juggling countless wedding details. The food was absolutely exquisite! Every dish was beautifully prepared and presented, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how delicious everything was. People were going back for seconds and asking who our caterer was! I also loved the elegant menu display that listed each dish and its ingredients - it was such a thoughtful, classy touch that elevated the entire presentation. What truly made the experience exceptional was Beatriz. She was simply AH-MAZING! She arrived right on time, handled the entire setup flawlessly, and made everything look beautiful. Throughout the event, she was constantly working behind the scenes, serving guests, discreetly clearing plates, keeping everything spotless, and making sure everyone was taken care of. She was incredibly professional, warm, attentive, and genuinely a joy to have at our wedding. My aunt Sue just thought the world of her when she told me the next day she had a wonderful conservation with her. Thanks to her, I was actually able to relax and enjoy our special day instead of worrying about the details. As the name suggests, they do catering but you should give at least 5-7 days' notice especially during the holidays. I tried to place a catering order during Thanksgiving week and wasn't able to because they were already fully booked. If they were closer, I'd come here at least twice a week to replenish my banchan fix. Nonetheless, I always go out of my way to return!

I mentioned that this place specializes in catering, so individual orders might not be possible. The Tempura Shrimp was also a BIG HIT and was the FIRST ITEM TO DISAPPEAR from the buffet platters. Finally, the Gangjung Chicken was DELICIOUS, boasting a perfectly crispy texture and a wonderfully balanced, savory flavor. At the end of the party, I was thrilled to have leftovers to enjoy the following day.

Their tasting events also are very helpful in choosing the menu for your event. At first we originally had a menu selected, but after attending the tasting event and trying various items, we ended up changing our menu. If you have the privilege to work with Jay's you should choose them! Jay's catering also caters food at a cafe at my work and all my coworkers love their food. Unfortunately the day before the event they called to say they had forgotten to add tablecloths to the contract and we were responsible for paying an additional $700 if we wanted to have our event the next day. I requested to not use the table cloths as we were already over budget for the event. I was told that was not an option as they had already taken delivery of them. Then I was told they would comp our drink station to try to meet us part way. Then I get an email from the Angie the director who changed the contract and lied about the drink cost trying to make it seem like she reduced the price, when the price had already been reduced in the original contract. The food was subpar, many complaints from our staff about the quality of the food. It's extremely shady business ethics they have and I would warn anyone from doing business with them! If you are already scheduled, save original copies of the contract as they will try and bait/switch you, then lie about it. Very disappointed overall.

On delivery day, they took meticulous car in leaf blowing the area under the bouncer before putting it down, inflating and setting it up, securing it, and then even wiping down every surface of the bouncer to leave it pristine and clean for us to use.
