Returning home and seeing all that (as well as water dripping from our kitchen can lights) was certainly shocking to say the least. Remediation Group responded to our calls for help very quickly. From then on, a total of almost five months, they were nothing short of exceptional! From communication with them, to their quick response time, to them keeping us accurately posted thru a very difficult time in our lives, to their much needed assistance with our materials replacement supplier and our insurance company were all so very comforting and helpful every step of the way. Perhaps the best part of dealing with all of them was the feeling that they were truly concerned about what we went thru and did everything in their power to be as accommodating as possible from demolition to reconstruction. The work was shoddy and even worse, despite promises, they put a lien on our house over a small amount that our insurance company had outstanding. This was due to an administrative error but after recommending them they nailed us to the wall with a lien over a very small debt that was not ours to pay. So forget any loyalty between customer and business. Their workers didn't speak English and looked like they were being paid substandard wages. The lien was the final straw with R4. Stay away.

PuroClean made the process of having my flooded wood floors ripped out and replaced painless and…read moreeasy. This is an update to a previous review. So it turns out my wood floor buckling was much worse than originally thought. The dehumidifier and tent installed by Adam at PuroClean did a great job of drying out the moisture beneath my floors. Unfortunately, before the buckling even began, before I even noticed any damage, and before PuroClean came out the first time, the water had apparently been sitting for quite a while doing it's damage to the wood and also began creeping up my walls, separating my bottom molding from my wall. It took over a week for that damage to make itself known because between myself and the guys at Puroclean, every inch of my condo had been checked for possible additional water damage (aside from the floors). When I noticed it late at night I frantically called Stuart thinking I must have a burst pipe in my wall, and he was out first thing the next morning to determine where the water could have been coming from. We found it was residual water from the original flood and he installed heaters and another dehumidifier to dry out my walls and prevent further damage. By the end of the whole fiasco, I had 4 separate areas of buckling on my floors where the water had had a chance to sit before the PuroClean guys were able to work their magic and dry out all the moisture, and a small hole behind my bottom baseboard on my wall where we were trying to determine the cause of the moisture in the wall. At that point it was clear I needed to rip up my floors and install new ones. My project manager from PuroClean, Dax, took care of all the details for me. He referred me to a great flooring guy and plumber to fix the flood. In addition to the great referrals, Dax coordinated all the work including the demo work done by his guys and installation of the new floors with the flooring guy, essentially taking all the worry and work out of my hands. All I had to do was be present to let them in and do the work. The demo work was done by Adam, Tony, and Derek at PuroClean. These guys worked until they were utterly exhausted to pull up my floors, that we later learned had been improperly installed by the original builders. They were such hard and enthusiastic workers. They also happen to love cats and were patient when my deaf rescue cat continued to venture out to explore, undeterred by the loud banging associated with pulling up the floors. All the PuroClean employees were genuine joys to work with. As a female that lives alone, I am often cautious about having workers come to work when I am home alone, but that concern never entered my head with these guys. They were polite, friendly, professional, and patient with pets and a genuine joy to work with. PuroClean really made what would normally be an awful and upsetting situation as painless as possible. They got all the estimates for me, found the best vendors, and took care of all the head-ache causing situations that arise when your condo is flooded and your floors are ruined. Most importantly, the quality of their work was phenomenal, and I truly could not be happier with the end result. As much as I wish the flood and need for new floors never occurred, I really don't think I could have asked for a better outcome. I truly can't think of any criticism to raise about PuroClean.

First off I would like to say they did have a prompt response and was here the day after the storm…read moredamage occurred to do an assessment of the damage. They placed a tarp on our roof covering the hole from the broken skylight. Then after they left the claims adjuster from our insurance contacted us to confirm their findings and came by to do his assessment and compare pictures. A week from the time WinWin came out they sent a crew to cut out the drywall that was affected removing it from our bathroom ceiling, bathroom interior by sink, exterior to hallway (we have a hole and can see in bathroom ),part of ceiling in garage, removing our toilet and placing it in the shower. They then put several fans and two dehumidifiers one in the bathroom and one in the garage below the hole that they covered in plastic. Took several more pictures and left, didnt say how long to keep the fans running or when they would return. After a few sleepless nights with a constant loud humming of several construction type fans running and not hearing from them about when they would come out or what happens next we reached out to our contact at Win Win. Still no real response or communication about whats next. The dehumidifier in the garage stopped working after about 3 days and still no one knew anything. After repeated calls to Win Win, our adjuster and our insurance agent (American Family Insurance) a different guy from Win Win finally stopped by to pick up the fans and he again took pictures. We still have a hole in our roof from the skylight, drywall has not been replaced, our toilet is still in the shower, we still have a hole in our garage, and still no answers. Today marks 3 weeks from the first contact 2 weeks from the time everything was torn apart and we still have no answers just a lot of round and round bs. So Monday we will be reaching back out to adjuster and American Family insurance as well as Win Win to see if the know when the repairs in the bathroom will start. Will update review once this frustrating, unprofessional ordeal is finally over.
