Jose, Danny and Albert were awesome! It was wonderful to be greeted on the yacht with a glass of wine upon crossing the threshold. Albert was great in remembering everyone's drink. And we can't forget Stacey! We sent her over a list of artists that we would like played and she hit the mark and exceeded it! Her music selection was stellar and any song requests we made throughout the night, were easily accommodated. This was a great experience and I can't wait to sail again with Elite Private Yachts! The leaves when we went were green. So I missed that great fall tradition of touring the Northeast for the changing of the leaves. Do I now admit I didn't really care since I grew up in the midwest and the changing of the leaves is spectacular. I have sailed on Princess 17 times and I can say everything is top notch. With a bonus the Horizon Court food court has improved from my last trips. Rooms always kept clean, fresh linen. chocolates on the pillow every night.

What made this cruise special, we were cruising on our wedding anniversary with my sister in law and her husband. *No kids* on this trip, lets see how it all plays out. The ship has over 5000 passengers, that's a lot of beach chairs! If you think you're getting into the gym at 10am? Forget about it, try going very early or later in the day. I'll try to break it down into sections, there's so much to talk about. Cabin We had a nice aft cabin with the extended balcony. Not too much time spent here during the day. The bed was comfy and was kept clean daily by the house keeping staff. Remember the nightly towel animals? Gone. NCL is trying to save water so they cut them out. Not a big deal. In the shower are the liquid soaps. I can't use only liquid soaps, ask for a soap bar and they will provide on upon request. Shows/Entertainment The Tony award winning show, After Midnight was a great evening. What do you do for the other nights? There's no going to bed at 10am, you're on vacation! We did hit up dueling pianos one night, it was fun. We didn't stay too long for the Choir of Man show, the wives didn't enjoy the show about pubs. Bars We seemed to get into a groove, after dinner we hit up The District for drinks and laughs. I did miss my sons, we liked drinking here a few years ago. This is where you'd find us most nights, drinking and listening to the great piano player. They had speciality bars like Tobacco road and the 5 o'clock somewhere bar, both nice but in the end The District with their 30 tap beer choices had us coming back nightly. Jimmy Buffett Margaritaville was a great place to grab a Landshark and a watermelon margarita for wifee, another favorite spot. The Cellar is where I experimented with multiple wines. Who knew Salvatore Ferragamo had his own wine line? This was an up charge to try, it was sooooooo good! Another must try while sailing. Food We loved all the speciality restaurants such as Moderno, La Cucina, Food Republic and Le Bistro. All restaurant go out of their way in terms of service and food quality. If you have the drink package, sample the wines from each restaurant. You'll be pleasantly surprised how well they pair with the food offerings. Pool We stayed in the adult pool and it was just that, no children allowed. How awesome is it to see a Jimmy Buffett concert on the large pool TVs while hanging out?! 5 stars just for that experience. Excursions I'm a Gold NCL member and for years I've always heard, if you book outside of the ship and you're late the ship will leave you. Brah, you're there for almost 3 days! We went on the Clearwater beach excursion, it's far and geared towards families with little kids, meaning no waves. Pass! The bus is $7 bucks per person but a personal cab is $10 bucks per person?! Take the damn cab! It's private and will make the experience more enjoyable. And you want Horseshoe beach, it's insane how pristine the beach is, we spent two days there during our trip. By far a 10 out of 10 experience. Casino I didn't want to piss off wifee grinding it out at the tables. I played big, was up $120, gave my wife half and never went back during the remainder of the cruise. If you got it like that to stay for hours and gamble? Bully for you man. Cigars If you smoke, bring your own! They have a well vented smoking lounge, don't buy one there. It's top price! I think I covered most areas. At the end of the cruise, the desk gave us $500 bucks if we rebook again, that deal was good only while on the cruise. $500 bucks?! I'm going back next year, this vacation was the ultimate in alone, wifee time. Cheers!

2 out of the 6 waiters didn't show up!!! ** AVOID!! **…read more We hired JJ Staffing Events for our wedding in Endless Mountains PA, they seemed very professional online and I spoke with Jamilka on the phone before hiring them. I was surprised that they were out of NYC but advertised in the Scranton area, so when I expressed concern about them coming 2 hours out of the city, she assured me that they travel well and personally guaranteed that they would show up. There was a 'travel fee' associated with the captain and each of the six waiters I hired - presumably towards renting a collective van or bus so they would all arrive together. We took her at her word, paid everything up front and confirmed a few days before the wedding. Of course, 2 of 6 waiters did not show up. One third of the workforce. The captain, Jamy - who was late arriving with the other waiters - had no idea where they were. Our coordinator was informed at 12 noon that a 'car had broken down' and that was that. Jamilka was unreachable. Captain Jamy had no solutions to offer. Nobody contacted me. There was no attempt on their end to find replacements, even though the reception didn't start until 6:30pm, plenty of time to find other NYC servers or even to find local replacements. Instead, we were scrambling all night long because losing 33% of the waitstaff meant that every single thing went 33% slower: Set up was way behind schedule so the attention to detail really suffered. Personal items meant to be placed and moved were abandoned because we had to pull different workers from their specific areas to do the server's set-up jobs. At the event itself, we now only had 4 waiters for 115 guests!! So naturally, the buffet stations were sloppy and not replenished on time, people couldn't get water refills or drinks quickly, spoons were immersed in sauces, food was lukewarm at best because when it was hot only 4 people could bring it, not 6. There were empty plates not bussed, empty shavers and dishes sat around, the 4 waiters were running for their lives, it was all very noticeable. Our cocktail hour was supposed to have 4 servers walking around with hors d'oerves, and I honestly don't think we had any at all. Very embarrassing. When it was time for the bridal party toasts, the waiters were so scattered that 2 of my friends and I - the groom! - had to hustle up to the house to find the Proseco and then run around pouring it for the guests ourselves!! And at the end of the night, I still tipped the servers well but Jamy thought it wasn't enough and straight up asked me for more! Regretfully, I actually GAVE her more money because I used to be a waiter and know it wasn't their fault that their co-workers were no shows!! But still, unbelievable. Bottom line: We planned this wedding for 9 months and the functionality was severely compromised due to JJ Staffing's negligence and irresponsibility. THEY DIDN'T ALL SHOW UP!! Jamilka *should* have been mortified and reached out immediately - but inexplicably, she didn't send any kind of correspondence of acknowledgement or apology at all. Not Saturday as things were happening in real time, or anytime afterwards! I had to reach out to HER to ask about this situation! She basically took zero accountability, said it was just 'bad luck'! And then offered to refund the 2 servers fees, as if that would make everything okay in her book. Her actual quote was: "Issues as such are not how we run our staffing agency." But.... Yes, yes it is!! Terribly unprofessional on ALL fronts. Please avoid hiring them and get waiters that actually show up - after all, the best ability is 'availability'. Find another company, you can do much, much better.
