We thoroughly enjoyed the boat ride on the Hudson river, during sunset. Mike was an awesome captain, and shared interesting facts as we toured around. The ride was smooth, and the views were epic. Getting close to the Statue of Liberty was the highlight.

We had booked a Private Sunset Tour with NYCbySEA as we heard good things from our Travel Agent. Well, we couldn't have had a better time! Mike helped coordinate us to find the marina and our Captain, Kris. Once we were settled aboard the beautiful, modern boat, Kris gave us a fantastic 2 hour view of New York you can't experience any other way! Down around the Island, Battery Park, the Financial District, Brooklyn, Manhattan and Williamsburg bridges, Governor's island and the incredible close up of Lady Liberty! He made sure we had plenty of historical info and group photos at the best locations. A one of a kind day thanks to NYCbySEA.

Amazing view of Lower Manhattan from behind the boat

This was such a great treat. Mike truly made it memorable, fun and comfortable for us. I decided to do a private charter to celebrate my 1 year anniversary. It was a surprise for my girlfriend and Mike was so kind to make sure that I had everything set up and ready to make this surprise special and executed just right! The tour itself was informative, relaxing, fun, and something we won't ever forget. Definitely do THIS TOUR (whether it be private or with a group) if you want a unique way to experience and see NYC. I've been living in New York for over two years now, and I've never experienced something so nice until I found NYCbySEA. Definitely will recommend it to all my friends, both locals and those who plan to visit! Thanks so much Mike for giving us this memorable experience!

Mike was an excellent captain and host for our first day in NYC. He has immense knowledge of the area and gets you the perfect picture in front of numerous landmarks. Highly recommended for a private charter, it made our 10th Anniversary even more memorable.

However, it was actually just a ferry ride, which is free, with no real organization of getting on except for running and making sure you can see the tour guide and then getting off to instantly to catch the next one back as soon as you got there. This should be explained in the details. Additionally, you do stop at the places mentioned but you do not get access to go into anything. For the Brooklyn Bridge it was basically just walking to the front for a photo and leaving. Same for Grand Central Terminal, you go in and walk around quickly while he explains a few things. For $220/pp, I expected a bit more. Martin was our tour guide and he was great. His voice was loud and he knew what he was doing. Just keep in mind that you should honestly be in shape for this tour because you are consistently having to jog/run to keep up with the tour guide to stay on schedule. I would not recommend for anyone who cannot keep up. All in all, we had a smaller group, so it felt more intimate and it was nice meeting others from different countries and states. And you are able to get nice pictures throughout.
