I needed a faulty radio replaced in my truck and chose them because of the positive reviews. Sadly, I never felt as though I was a valued customer. Instead, it seemed as though I was a quick buck. The job went long and after not getting a call, I phoned them. I was told they were pulling my truck out right at that moment - OK, maybe. I've no reason yet to not trust them. After picking up the truck (which was left a mess) I notice pretty quickly things were not right. My steering wheel controls and backup camera did not work at all. I called and was told to come back. Unfortunately, I was heading out of town for two weeks with the truck so I told them I'd swing by after the trip. While on the trip I realize my mic for calls and my parking lights weren't functioning correctly either. It was clear to me that they did not check that everything I paid for, was functioning, so I decided to not give them the shot to make it right. I didn't trust that they would make my truck a priority and I couldn't go without it for a lengthy period of time. I purchased a radio on Amazon and installed it myself and now everything is working properly. With zero experience or prior knowledge, I did a better job than these professionals. I gave them the second star since I didn't give them a second chance. I won't be back and will not recommend their radio install (maybe they're good at tinting or rims - I'll never know). I'm disappointed. My preference is to promote the local spots. Sadly, not this one. *Update* I spoke with the owner over the phone after he promised a 100% refund. He asked that I come in on Monday to meet with him. On Monday, he wasn't there. Instead I was handed a phone to talk to him. He blamed a miscommunication for the backup camera, did not address any other issues. I had the radio in hand to return, but he refused the return and offered me a refund of $90 (paid $680 in total) for my installation. I declined obviously disappointed in their lack of care for the customer. Removed a star after giving them a chance to make it right and didn't. These guys cannot be trusted. read more

Great experience, highly recommend! Not only are they extremely cost effective. They are humble and aim to please all their customers. I was able to see other interactions while waiting on my vehicle. Their team installed my window tint and front & rear camera system. I just bought a new stereo, speakers, remote start, and backup camera for my car. I started trying to do it myself but the wiring was way too complicated and I decided I needed to get some help from someone who knows what they're doing. I called a bunch of places who said "we don't do remote start" or "we can't add a backup cam." When I called Above Da Rim, they answered and said, "we do it all." I went there (same day) and they installed everything, and added tints to my windows EXTREMELY fast. I was in and out on the same day at an amazing price. These guys are professionals and clearly know what they're doing. I'm not sure why they don't have too many yelp reviews, but they have a ton of google reviews that say the same thing as me. If you're looking for a place that's professional, fast, and literally does it all, these are the guys to go to. read more

These guys do all they can to rectify an issue and mine was so simple but it was something I was unaware of -- there was no place in the plastic and rubber dash for the ground wire. As a result, it unhooked itself on bumps in the road and the stereo would go out. The guy who did my jeep was so patient as he explained this. I have had a lot of cars and a lot of stereos, these guys are the best. read more

Do NOT use this business unless you're into bubbles, hair/lint under the tint, multiple trips, window scratches, and a staff with ZERO integrity. I'm 53 and had the windows tinted on every car I have ever owned and never have I encountered such poor craftsmanship and service. I brought my brand new mint condition 2022 Jeep (125 miles on it) to these guys for window tint on the front windows to match the back glass. Let me reemphasize that this Jeep was BRAND NEW with NO DEFECTS in the glass. During the initial installation they got the drivers window done right (no bubbles or lint from the outset). A couple days later I noticed the the passenger window had a big piece of lint/hair under the tint down low near where the window meets door so a couple weeks later I brought the vehicle back and they redid the passenger window tint. Again the tint had bubbles but they tell you they will bake out. Sooooooo I park my jeep to face the sun for weeks. STILL has bubbles. Saturday 8/13/22 we schedule the jeep at 10am to come back in yet again to redo the tint. They redo the passenger window tint and and bring the jeep back out to me. The passenger window is LOADED with bubbles everywhere and what looks like lint/debris under the tint. At this point everything inside of me tells me to cut my losses and just leave but I let them redo the tint. They bring the jeep back out to me (this is now the 4th attempt) and I immediately notice what I then think is a piece of lint in the half way up the middle of the window under the tint. So I show them this and they immediately try to tell me its not lint but a scratch in the glass! I said... WHAT? What do you mean?! There was not a scratch there 30 minutes ago! So they take the jeep back and pull the tint down and call me back to show me this scratch. Sure enough there is now a scratch in the glass (see photo) that had to come from them removing the previous tint. Immediately they try to deny that they did it. I quote "it did not happen back here". I said then why was it not there 30 minutes ago?! This is BRAND NEW jeep and this scratch was not there until now. The shop manager said, "we didn't do it". Amazing that he could look me in the eye and say that when it was NOT there before. I am not a review writer kind of guy, but when you have ZERO integrity and cant look a man in the face and say we screwed up and what can we do to make this right I have a problem with that. They scratched my window and offered no options to make it right except lie to my face. ***UPDATE*** Several glass repair companies have told me you can not buff out the scratch on a tempered glass window. So now it looks like I am out $225 replace the glass. SMH Do yourself a favor and don't just read my review, read the other negative reviews on Google. read more

i had them install a 10 in. subwoofer in my car as well as an amplifier, took them about 3 1/2 hours. I wasn't in any type of rush but the eta they gave me was a little under 2 hours. once everything was installed & paid for i went about my way, but once i pulled into my driveway i noticed there was a huge chunk of the interior missing from the left side of my steering wheel. i was a little confused so i drove 20 mins back to see if they still had it or not, no big deal though, they took a look, found the part & reinstalled it. THEN, later that evening i pulled into the Sheetz parking lot & for some reason i took a glance at the hood of my car & noticed there was TWO huge scratches on it. both of them were about 7 in. long side-by-side. very disappointed, it'll run me about $200 to fix. however, no major issues with the sound system so i think they did a good job wiring. recommended them to a friend of mine prior to noticing the scratch & after he had them work on his car they left a scratch on HIS driver side door! if you decide to get work done from them you should definitely take detailed before & after pics. they get the job done but it seems as though they go about it sloppily. can't really say that i'd ever recommend them again. read more

I had tint installed on my vehicle on April 6,2019 I called the same day and spoke with Jason and told him that there was some bubbles on my windows he stated that the windows were not completely dry and for me to wait 5 days and if there was still bubbles to come back and they would fix it. I went back on April 13,2019 Marquis came out looked at my car said to give it another week the weather was starting to warm up it should dry all the bubbles out if not come back the following week if they were not out and they would redo the tint job. I called on Monday 4/22/19 spoke with Marquis who asked me to come the next day when I got off work, I show up Tuesday he's not there, I go back Wednesday he is there and stated it will not get no better than what it is the only option I had was them removing the tint. I called 4/25/19 spoke w/Marquis asked about a refund was told I can get store credit I stated I don't want store credit I would like a refund there is nothing that I need from there he said it was policy asked to see the policy he stated he didn't have the policy and needed to call someone else. He then put the manager Henry on the phone and told him to tell me the only thing they can do is give me store credit however he stated he would have the owner redo my tint when he comes back in town he said he would call me with an appointment time needless to say I have not got a call. The customer service sucks and so does the work I would like to get my money back. There is a sign hanging up in the store that states tint has a lifetime warranty apparently not. My fiancee called to speak with the manager and was told he won't be in until next week but I had just talked to the so called manager not even 30 minutes before he called. read more
